Tara Finlay: Love this extremely well-stocked doll house and miniature store. I have a hard time picturing scale online and so shopping in person helps me with that. Additionally, there are so many fully-decorated houses, you can get ideas for how to set io your own. My favorite part of this store is the bargain area. I make a lot of my own miniatures on my youtube channel, and I love that I can get wood scraps and other items like wallpaper scraps at a nice discount. If you want a custom dollhouse, they do that too (hello dream job!) Be sure to go check them out. Take your time, pace yourself, and the staff are friendly and helpful so if you have any questions, they are happy to help you.

Sabrina Moore: I love Earth & Tree so much! I've been to some other dollhouse shops which were great but Earth & Tree is a whole experience. They have so many displays which you can shop from as well. Between the newly manufactured pieces, one of a kind pieces, and sale items it is literally a one stop shop. I'm so grateful they are in business and provide everything a miniaturist needs. The women working there are also very friendly and extremely helpful.

I wish every store could take lessons from these people, especially hobby stores. Heard of dollhouses once and want someone to explain to you how big stuff gets so small? This is the right place. The client on your third commissioned dollhouse of the month changed their mind and wants to go with walnut door frames rather than oak? It's still the right place. Need an explanation of viscosity in non-Newtonian fluids? They've probably still got you covered.My only regret is that there was a larger selection of premade miniatures and a smaller selection of scale building materials (nails and other hardware, lumber, metal goods, landscaping, etc.) than I'd personally prefer. But I understand that they're just providing what the market will bear--most people prefer to buy rather than build their furniture and accessories. Still the best selection I've ever seen, including of half and quarter scale, though! I'd just personally like the 65/35 ratio to go the other way.Oh--also some prices on loose materials were a little hard to find, but I'm not going to claim that's the store's problem. I don't know how I'd flawlessly label 18 slightly different pieces of wood to show the difference between 1/8th, 3/16th, 3/16th but a 32nd of an inch shallower, etc., either. Organization was fine, so no problem with selecting matching pieces! And I have no doubt that if I'd cared enough to ask, someone would have been happy to walk me through pricing of individual pieces. Just a side effect of buying human-made products sold by humans.
