MetroRock Littleton: what do users think?
Benjamin Yudkoff: A great smaller gym. Great texture on the holds, a fantastic array of different grades, some really fun and dynamic walls (which I mostly interested in), and great staff. Plentiful autobelays. This is an interesting and fun place to climb with lots of lower grades with really fun overhangs that are challenging and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit.
Oma Babalola: Fun activity for both kids and adult. Available parking. I give it 4 stars simply because the entire place smells like feet. But once you are settled in there you forget that smell.
Anna Hadorn: I am a member at Metro and it's a great place to climb and meet people!
matt wilkinson: Great facility, awesome staff, super route setters!!!!!
Volkan Can: Great climbing gym! I've been to 3 others in NH a few times, and I have to say this beats them all. The courses each have their own color coded holds, which is SO much better than other places that use hard to see tape that's impossible to see after you climb over them. Tape also falls off, so you have no idea which holds you can use to complete a route correctly by rating. With the color coding, you know exactly where you are supposed to go, and you don't have to get stuck repeatedly on the wall trying to find the right hold, wasting all your energy, and you don't need a spotter below to tell you which holds are part of that course, repeatedly. There's many different difficulty levels for he climbing walls, many inclines, and this place has the biggest bouldering area, by far, that I've seen out of 4-5 different climbing gyms.Bathroom have mid-sized lockers to keep your stuff safe (though almost no one uses them) and the place was very clean. Will definitely be going back, even though it's the longest drive from where I live.
Alex Sarasin: I spend an absurd amount of time here 💪
Dan Von Kohorn: Big, awesome facility. High walls. Great variety of holds and routes.
Danielle Martinez: Amazing gym! Definitely the best gym around. The boulders are always great and a fun challenge. Staff members are always eager to help out and are passionate about climbing. Would definitely recommend for new or experienced climbers!
Jocelyn Cooney: Little disorganized at check in and took a while. Place is cool and quite large but they need many more auto belay spots. Fairly long waits at each station. I’d say they only have 10 percent of the spots with auto belay but that’s what 95 percent of the customers were using.
Maurice Peploski: The best climbing gym in the area. Taller top-rope routes than the Newburyport location, and two rooms of bouldering with a good mix of easy and hard routes for all skill levels.
Teddy Darlington: Great climbing gym and staff(especially that peter fellow😍😍😍). The teams seemed full of very strong kids.
theepictallguy: Been climbing here for a little over a year. This is a very nice gym with a good community. Lots of bouldering as they recently expanded. Setters have a good taste with a variety of styles - I believe they are certified to set for US climbing competitions. The bouldering problems tend to lean slightly towards comp style problems. Gym amenities include a modest weight room, hang boards, and kilter board.
Adam Synnestvedt: It was a great experience and they have a lot of options for climbing including bouldering, belay, auto belay, and even a wall that you could choose the route on as well as the incline.
Keandra cruz: My first time ever rock climbing, arrived for free climb! The place was clean, spacious and had a few people who were free climbing who were nice enough to offer some guidance and tips. I gave a 4 star because I expressed to the front desk that I was completely new and I was offered ZERO guidance, ZERO safety tips or class options to learn proper techniques or anything. I felt very lost and nervous to start until I approached some visitors for help. I'd go back for sure just wanted more help to start.
Steve Celona: Went once with my girlfriend and we got a membership a week later. Super fun spot to climb
David Toomey: Expensive for a day pass as a 23 year old with student loans but the expanded bouldering section and Kilterboard are awesome
James Hays: A very nice gym but pretty expensive if you want to go regularly.
Andrew Halloran: Great fun! I took my 7 year old and he loved every minute of it. We have never done any climbing and are brand new to the sport. The staff were very friendly and explained how everything worked. We started with the bouldering area and he climbed the appropriate 10-12 feet walls without harness. After that we tried the auto belay and he managed to work up the confidence to use it.
Venkata Veeragoni: One of the staff was not so kind in responding. Other than that its amazing place.
jim bird: Ups and downs
Josh Mogizzlygat: Positive:Professionalism

MetroRock Climbing Center: what do users think?
BHAMA: Climbed, laughed, had lots of fun and unforgettable memories!
Hailee OKeefe: This facility does not take belay testing seriously whatsoever. My instructor was 100% focused on her dog throughout my exam because there was someone in the gym who was afraid of dogs. At the time I was belaying someone who weighed a lot more than I. The instructor was purely focused on her dog “Princess” and did not look at my technique. Although I believe it was due to the focus on her pet, she was rather aloof overall.
Charles Klauder: Great gym with excellent and friendly staff. Love to spend an afternoon on the auto belays or belaying for my children. Climbing is a great mind body activity for all ages.
Peter Chikov: Awesome place, top rope, lead climbing, and an expansive bouldering area.
MERLIN “Merlin Zeewiz”: Loved our experience! Friendly service and gym, must try!
Casey Lu: Absolutely the best climbing gym and best climbing community in Boston (especially if you want to do ropes climbing). All the staff are very friendly and they have an epic lead wall in the back. Sometimes competitions are hosted and then you can try the climbs after. And sometimes they even host more community events like screening the Olympics. A huge facility and the programming like adult team is really welcoming if you’re looking to sharpen your technical skills and improve your climbing ability (I especially love that Erica and Adriana are the coaches and Adriana is such a great setter). Cannot recommend making it out to metro more
Christopher Covello: Critical:Communication,Professionalism
Thida Golff Pornkittichot: We had a good time for the birthday party there. @coppycake
iris hale: I loved this place. My favorite climbing place in Boston, will be returning!
Christian Adams: Sweet gym with easy going staff and crowd. 140+ routes with all levels.
Dan Sweeney: I have climbed at all of the gyms in the Boston area and MetroRock is my favorite! The walls are well-featured (corners, chimneys, cracks, roofs, slab, sustained, arch), textured (smear away!) and long. The route-setters are creative and provide a nice variation in types of climbs, and the grading is representative of outdoor climbing in the area. The atmosphere is welcoming- you can be a beginner or go with your family and feel comfortable here. The staff are friendly, I never feel rushed or like I'm annoying with a question or request. Overall a very down-to-earth place where you can have fun and improve your climbing
J T: Beautiful big walls. Plenty of routes. Go in the morning if you want the whole place to yourself!
Nicolai Cauchy: i love the unpretentious, slightly grungy, typically MIT-geekish ambiance. There's a large variety of routes up to half a pitch long, lead, topr rope, or self belay. The routes are more spread apart than at Central Rock Gym in Watertown, and there is almost a full grade of difference in the rating between Metro (5.10a) and CRG (5.9). Slack line, yoga studio, workout and stretching rooms, and to top it all, a Wonderfully nice and accommodating staff always available !
Sampson Wong: Great place. It's a big setup and really tall climbs. They also have a rope course.
Nate Bryce: Great facility! Good variety of top rope, lead, bouldering. The certification process for top rope and belay isnt good. If you don't have climbing experience, you will have to attend a pre-determined intro to climbing class, which sucks if you decided to go on a whim. The certification is them handing you a harness, watching you put it on, then making you tie your knot, and hook up with up your belay device. Very basic, and necessary, I completely understand!. But you are not allowed to practice before hand, or have someone teach you how to do it. They just watch you and fail you, and say you have to test again next time, OR come back when we have our class and take it. IfIthey see you practicing beforehand then they automatically fail you. I am not against certification to ensure safety. However there should be a better process to teach new climbers AFTER they already pay for entry, and rentals to tell them they can only Boulder or do the 8 auto belay climbs in the gym.
TrainsRCAnd More: Nice facility, great staff.
santiago funes: Best rock climbing in the Boston area, except location. Color Coded rocks, enough climbs to keep you climbing for a month, all skill levels. Nice staff and everything you need to climb, definetly go (With a car)
NoFate247: Great place for indoor rock climbing. Tall ceilings, bouldering, top rop, lead climbing, and auto-belay stations. Also a small weight room and a section to train your grip. Been going there for years and always leave with a smile on my face.
Thomas Meehan: The climbs are fun! he staff is friendly 😃
Tomas Javier de Tuya: Awsome
Julie W: Clean, organized, and they have something for everyone. I like how this place is organized and caters to a wide range of ages and skill levels. I visited for the first time and was greeted by two sweet doggies, filled out a waiver, rented a harness, and got a 5 min tutorial and was on my way to climbing for the first time. The auto baley device is very safe and also fun to use. Sometimes there is a line but not one that is unbearable. There are also plenty of shorter walls for climbing, without baleys but with giant red mats to catch your fall.It is a great form of exercise but I have a newfound appreciation for climbers (especially those who can climb in an inverted position!). I am sore in places I did not know existed!
