UMass Lowell Music Department: what do users think?
Cathy Witts: Always nice to enjoy wonderful music.
Jennifer Hart: Not a lot of signs to help you get where you need to go
Max R: Come for the career development. Stay for the late night mezzanine cram sessions, stressful recitals, weird bathrooms and outright emotional abuse at the hands of insecure 50 year old men
Moises Gonzalez: The most amazing place to listen to music. By student or other musicians
Camden Connor: 👍
David S Nolan: We attend Fine Arts events which bring UMassLowell students and Lowell Public School students together, in collaboration on Fine Arts projects. An example, UMassLowell String Project.
Matt Blood: Neat
jheo mikouanya: Came here for the Umass Lowell strings project performance. It was beautiful.
Derek Cloutier: The Strings project is a great way to be introduced to Classical music, my daughter loves it.
Kayla Bensler: Went for an audition here. Very drafty, disorganized, and the elevator goes the wrong way. Not impressed.
agatha adigwe: Good for a stage show or presentation
Joseph Campo: UMass Lowell Orchestra concert for Halloween
Celeste Dunn: Great place to watch a show but the restrooms are small and difficult to use in a crowd.
Lucas DeLisle: Made of very good stone! Walls wont move an inch of punched even hardest ): hospital is close by though!
Johnny Melanson: Lot of space, interesting look
marjorie mcdonough: Great concerts
Stephen Minchello: For a concert.
Daniel Prophete: Love the building and the professors never regretted going back to school to study music.
Chris Sutter: This place is a fascist nightmare. There is no point to coming to school for music here. Please for your own good, do not come here
Marcel Damiano: It look like a pianoo
Bayoan Martinez-Yung (Bido): Nice place to sing.

The Tone Loft: what do users think?
J.T. Helms: I was looking for a new apartment in the area and came across this place as a recommendation from my last complex. I had the pleasure of speaking with Victoria throughout the experience. She was very nice, patient with me and all my questions, and kept me up to date with what was going on. Although I ultimately did not end up going with this complex, I loved everything about it and wish I would've been able to sign. Thanks again, Victoria!!
Cindy Wanjiru: If your into high ceilings & space go for it. Were do I begin with the hidden fees that are not explained to tenants via email at time of notice. Be prepared at move out to be charged a prorated amount even after giving them your notice. Secondly, I left before the 30 days and they charged me one month of parking when I was not even parking there & rent as if I was still there. The one star is for the leasing department and there failure to communicate. Things should be made clear for people if yall are going to Charge " Please" list it clearly with the prices so we are aware.Be Warned: if you do not return their plastic parking pass, keys ect. you will be charged alot for it. The plastic parking pass is equal to an entire months parking fee so if you pay for parking pay attention!
Greg Chaplin: Super helpful and friendly front office staff! I made an error with my move-in time and they made sure I was taken care of and moved in smoothly!
Garrett Sullivan: I live here currently and pay 2100 a month for rent. My ac currently works half the time, the elevator doesn’t work, and the doors on the first floor doesn’t open. Wouldn’t recommend. Below is a picture of my ac unit which hasn’t worked in about 2 months even though maintenance says nothings wrong
Matthew Roberts: I have been here for a year and a half. I live in loft 71. Victoria is a phenomenal leasing manager. She’s also an amazing person in general. Moving across the country to an unseen unit is extremely nerve racking. However, she kept us up to date every step of the way. Sending photos of similar units to see the concept. While also sending updated photos of our specific unit as it was being flipped for us. If repairs are needed they’re don’t quickly and efficiently. If it was possible, I’d give Victoria 10 stars.
michelle5321: I've almost been here for a year so this is a well experienced review. The apartments are beautiful, amenities are great , the most important of anything is that the office that handles my every request is 10/10 Victoria Callihan has been so accommodating. She makes my living here feel like a breeze. Maintenance wow..when i say they all are fantastic, I mean it!! ALL of them are super amazing , they even come with treats when they work in my apartment to give to my temperamental pup , who loveees them. Loft 27 put into prospective what property management should look like and you will not find a better attention anywhere. I'm fortunate to have landed in loft 27. Thank you all !!!
Nancy Lee: Leasing staff has been very helpful especially Victoria from the very beginning! Apartment is very spacious, amenities are nice to have as well and maintenance has been awesome when needed
Rene Martinez: I’ve lived here for 1.5 years. I would say it decent place . The apartment are spacious but it’s long building and if you live in the back be prepare for a walk . There isn’t enough parking spaces for all the tenants and they don’t paint the lines and sometimes causes difficulty to park because they don’t park correctly. Victoria is a very nice leasing manager.
Xavier Cummings: This stars in this review are specifically given for how great my experience has been with one of the staff members that has been making our time at 27 Loft a wonderful stay. Victoria Callihan has been supporting us since before we moved in and she has made every day she works there absolutely fabulous. She always greets with a friendly smile and goes the extra mile to ensure that any problems, concerns, or needs are addressed. She never makes a person feel as though they are one of hundreds of residents, as far as I know she is our personal concierge lol. I can’t thank her enough for help with packages, communications, maintenance, rent, facilities, and recommendations. She is the go to for everything. Thank you so much for your dedication to the residents, you have made this experience great- so much so that if anything were to happen to you I think we would have to leave the complex, its that big of a difference. 5/5 stars, would highly recommend. As far as the rest of the complex goes, the rent is 3/5 stars, its average for what you get. The apartments are very nice, the ceilings are incredible, but the value is average. Rent continues to go up even though there is a serious amount of inflation going on. I mean c’mon, not this year. The facilities are nice, its in a good location to walk to just about anything needed. 4/5 stars here. There is a gym and a community center, but in the time I’ve lived there, there have never been any pool balls for the table, and the communal area/ theater has been closed or unavailable. Looking forward to see if this improves.
Craig Miles: Becca is a rock star. I have been frantically looking for a place to live while trying to move from California and she was so kind and patient with me. She has an amazing attitude and was very courteous. She also knew the answer to all my zany questions. My wife and I look forward to living somewhere with employees like Becca.
Sofia Rios: This review is for the customer service, not the apartments themselves. I haven't rented a unit from this location yet but I have been working with their leasing consultant, Victoria Callihan, for a week now. I am relocating from Houston to Boston area for my job. Victoria has been extremely patient and helpful - providing floor plan options, answering my many questions and even providing three virtual tours via Facetime. As a customer service professional myself, I truly value her pleasant and helpful demeanor and all of her extra efforts.
Katarina Jesson: I Lived In 27 Jackson St Loft Lowell MA 01852 APT 436. My Lease Ended August 31st 2021. I Had Put My Furniture Outside The Elevators & Arranged Movers To Come Pick Up The Furniture On August 31st. Some Of The Furniture Was Going To Storage - While The Rest Was Being Thrown Away. Today I Had My Cousin Drop Off Our Keys In Our Apartment. & He Informed Me That ALL Of My Furniture Was THROWN Back Into The Apartment. Damaged & Just Tossed In. The Leasing Department Entered My Home WITHOUT My Permission!!! Not One Phone Call Or Email Before Or After They Entered My Home - They Had Damaged My Items & Just Threw Them Into My Apartment. Than When I Asked The Leasing Department To Arrange For Them To Remove It For Me Seem The Movers I Had Already Had Paid Left - They Said It'd Be 150$ PER Item. Now I Had To Arrange Movers Again & Pay Them AGAIN To Remove These Items - And Now Throw Out ALL My Furniture Because They Had Damaged My Property. Do Not Rent From There's People. It's Not Worth 2,500$ A Month.Leasing Department Names ; Victoria Callihan - Sara Young - BettyBefore & After Pictures
Leslie Tejeda: I moved to Lowell last year during Covid in 2020. I’m originally from Boston. Living in loft 27 for the first time was truly an amazing experience! The office made the moving process easy from the move in and move out date. I never had any complaints, but if I did, maintenance was a call or click away. They have a portal you can log onto to see what’s going on in the building and community itself. You can also pay your rent through the portal as well as put in an order for maintenance. The women in the office were always welcoming, happy and friendly!! They are also available for all your needs and will work through anything you may need. It was a great experience living there! I loved and will miss my loft! Thank you loft 27!!
Kim L: Great and beautiful apartments! Maintenance & leasing team are awesome! Kudos to Ryan Cote in maintenance department and Ketie Esitashvili in leasing. Always been super helpful and caring when in need of assistance:)
melia dad: Maintenance stole my bike and sons bike.
Jayson: Please, just don’t . You deserve better . At least for your money! It’s just bad . Like really bad . I want to save you , no one saved us ...
Amit Rajput: Fine print, lot's of additional charges.Pro- Bful building and location.- People who run it are very nice.Cons- Lot of gotcha, after the expensive rent.- Parking isn't included, separate.- They said heat and hot water are included but there is a very big catch there. The more you use, the higher your electric bill. First electric bill was $400, and it's only November.- Apartment facilities are mostly for vanity, the gym is meehhh, if you want to access yoga studio you need to ask key every time.
Alyssa Parker: It was such a joy living in this apartment complex for 2.5 years. They are so spacious and you really can't beat the high ceilings and insanely large windows. The staff is pretty great. The maintenance team responds quickly. My only complaints are that there was not a light in the master bedroom. And my husbands bike was stolen while it was locked up on the bike rack in the stairwell.
Vanessa Ramos: The apartment is beautiful and my daughter loves living here. The staff is always helpful and so nice here.
Christina Bigelow: We love it at Loft 27! The staff is so nice and helpful! Our apartment is gorgeous and spacious- we don’t want to live anywhere else.
Dana Wonder: I have lived at Loft 27 for four years. The apartments are spacious and well kept. The front office has always taken time to assist me, especially Ms. Ketie Esitashvili, who always goes above and beyond with a smile.

Root Note Studio: what do users think?
John Willson: My teacher has vast musical experience and is an excellent teacher walked me through music theory, as well as the details of the guitar. As an adult student, I was nervous about picking up an instrument but I am now pretty confident I comfortably improvise with blues . Taking on a bit of songwriting which was unexpected, I did not think I come this far... Thanks for the great lesson and I look forward to many more.
Nada Patel: When I started I could not even tune my guitar. Now I'm in the local blues band playing gigs with my buddies. Highly recommend teachers at Root Note Studio!
Sage Williams: I always wanted to learn how to write a song & produce on my own. I was taught all of that and beyond...Excellent teacher. Especially if you are interested in songwriting !
Edwin Caban: Positive:Professionalism
Jamie Evans: Great selection of instruction across many different instruments. Music theory and technique lessons are also exemplary.

Jenny M: Great place for instruments, music, and lessons! Everyone is very friendly and prices are very reasonable. Marlene has helped me numerous times when I am looking for specific music for my piano students, and has also helped me with small repairs on my violin. Richard J. Sheehan: Knowledgeable & friendly staff.. thanks Maureen and Eric. And lessons also.
Marlene Buckley: Best customer service! Delivered digital piano to my home!
Mark Claffee: We went to give our rising 5th graders a chance to see the instruments they can select between for next year. We got tons of 1 on 1 attention, they got to hold and try whatever instruments they were interested in. In the end everyone is happy and instruments are selected with confidence.
Jack Sharon: Great store! They carry music and instruments for all levels of musician! Marlene, the owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
Tq'λtsenoe Tchosenone: Great Place with friendly staff who definitely know what they are selling. A great help to the community, and definitely one of the most Iconic Stores in Lowell. Excellent Prices and range of accessories as well as instruments too! The staff is very down to earth and friendly,Marlene has a great memory for anything, anything, whether it is musical gadgets, gimmicks, or students she's taught (like my 20 year older than me cousin who she still remembers! Wow!)Eric is more than a whole unit of Inspiration from many Students across the Middle Schools, (where the band program and a generation of musicians begins), and is also very amicable,And I'm sure Buck is great. They also serve free cake on special dates!
Manu Hegde: Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have bought my alto sax, reeds, and tons of music from this place. My questions have always been answered quickly and easily. This place has lessons as well which I find very helpful. Overall, an excellent place for any instrumental or musical needs.
D Nel: I strongly recommend this place! They sell various instruments and it's the perfect place for band students. They do private lessons, got sheet music, can try the intrument out (as long as you bring your own mouthpiece) and got nice brands that I always use. The owner is very nice and kind. I feel that it is a bit more expensive here (at least saxophone reeds), but considering you'll most likely get what you want here, it's not bad at all. Strongly recommended!
Dominique Cyprès: The owner Marlene helped me find exactly what I needed.
Christian hayon: Great place, they have WiFi!
Thomas Radovan: Very knowledgeable great people
Eileen Oliveira: Friendly service
C S: Knowledgeable people helping us navigate the music instrument world. Very friendly people and reasonably priced rentals.
Gisele Couto: It was 4:10 pm on a Saturday and I realized that the store closes at 4, and luckily I calledThat lady waited for me until 4:30 and we’re able to get the violins for my girls. The best customer service, helpful and quick. Truly recommend them.
Joel Naticchioni: Very helpful and knowledgeable people here. They enjoy every instrument (and they have a LOT to choose from) that's in here, and are glad to help you find the perfect fit for your style and budget. Luthiers are available to fix and adjust almost anything. Music lessons are offered, too. It's a little hidden and tucked away, but the best places are.
Sabrina: Loved them, two nice folx that know their music, got a Yamaha from them for quite a deal, came with everything
