Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsborough State Forest: what do users think?
alexis karle: Dog-friendliness: Lots of amazing trails for you and your fur buddies ❤️
Sokreth “Sok” Un: Excellent place to get your steps in. There are many different trails to explore.
Melinda Gavin: The trail starts out beautiful, but then it turns into Cherynoble. My only question is, is it going to continue to be worked on or is that?I appreciate all the work that went into making it...Dog-friendliness: Great place to walk your dog. 🐶
Alex McDonnell: Nice walk
Nicholas Weissman LaFrance: This is a great park. The terrain is varied and interesting. Parking situation could be better but then again it's a big attraction for the Lowell area.
Jesse H.: Beautiful year round my dog loves it we go very often
marissa van ryzin: This is a great place to go if you want a solitary walk/ hike. Most trails are well marked and easy to follow. Even if you get turned around, you're never far from a neighborhood or a main road, though you won't hear them. There are miles and miles of trails, most are quite easy and a few are paved and accessible. It is my experience that the parking lot could be full, but once I turn off of the main trail, I hardly see another person. There are no bathroom facilities.
Steven Flynn: First time there,, who knew there was such a beautiful forest in Lowell,, thank God I had a gps otherwise I mightve had to build a survival shelter lol...100% I'll be backDog-friendliness: My dog had the time of her life,, so many new smells,, critters to chase and things to pee on
EJ Ciramella: Tons of trails, great for cycling and hiking.
John Zhong: Nice little local park for a short hike - parking is very limited.
Michael Rice: My 1st time in there today... It's a Really nice place. With a Huge network of well maintained trails.
Terry Weiser: Parking is muddy and, no bathrooms. Maps were good and trails very clean.
Donald Lupien (Don): Parking can be limited during the parks peak time. Everything is clean and natural. There is a small road winding down through the park. There are all these trails off the road that you'll want to walk all of them. I saw people biking, jogging, walking, and dog walking. Bring bug spray! People I spoke with all had cell service.
Ric Everhard: These bike trails ROCK!!!
Scott Thomas: I have lived adjacent to this what I'm told is over 3,000 acre Forest and it is an awesome place to walk on the trails or ride your mountain bike through the miles and miles of trails. It is also the perfect place to bring your dog and let them run loose if you are so inclined to do because it is a paved road going right through the middle if you do not want to go off onto the trails and very easy to keep track of the dogs.
Petra Zion: This is such a beautiful place to go for a walk and enjoy a moment of nature. Highly recommended and it seems save to (writing as a woman). You can walk on a paved road or going off track whatever you prefer.
Raziyah Macy: muddy but nice. nice walk and accessible
A C: A very ecologically diverse forest with plenty of different settings for all kinds -- including paved walks, bike/dirt trails, and foot trails through the actual forest. There are rocky areas, hills, plain wooded expanses, and even wetlands. There's something beautiful here for everyone of all abilities and hiking expertise. Not all of the trails are loops, so it can be very easy to get lost for those who aren't the most situationally aware or good at directions, so staying on the paved path might be a better option for some. It gets creepy at dusk too so be cautioned! Some downsides are parking can be pretty tough, as the official lot is fairly small and can only fit around 6-8 vehicles at best, so you may find yourself having to park on the side of the road. The place is also very buggy (mosquitoes in particular), so bug spray is non-negotiable. The Lowell Dracut Tyngsboro forest would be a solid 5 if DCR or other responsible authorities did a yearly pesticide spray on the place as Triple E tends to spike in the warmer months in this part of New England.
Edward Leaor III: Some amazing local MTB trails!
Robin Trudel: Nice walk on a hot day

Rogers Fort Hill Park: what do users think?
el_EscapeArtist: No parking at that entrance
Crab Cakes: Beautiful place to train, picnic, or whatever, but there are some people who smoke pot here and ruin it for others. Just be wary of that. There is wildlife I’ve encountered, such as rare fox sightings.
Steven Flynn: Pretty cool..to close to the street so we walked up the hill,,much better that way,, my first time there but ill be back for sure
Ada Torres: Peaceful and police is always around
Yasmany Poll: ♥️
Amanda Patrick: Beautiful
VIVIAN CUCCHIARA: Beautiful area to sit and enjoy the small, but quaint park. Pretty in all seasons.
Md. Al-Amin: An average park, no too much amenities.
Don Greenwood: Lowell jewel
AL Mutebi: Quiet place, not so crowded
Tj Farrell (SPIZZY): Peaceful quiet clean a nice place to relax
Mark Maxner: Quiet peaceful park that's good for children and an uphill hike for the active that sits behind the park. It abuts the Cemetery that is a beautiful walk early Spring and Fall.
Charles Mirabal: Probably the best park in LowellDecently clean and open.
Michaela Merrill: Good trails around this area
Carlos Nunes: Good place to exercise
Mike Livertovsky: Great place for a walk. Pretty big park with some nice trails and paths. You can venture into the middle of the area and climb to the top of the hill. Unfortunately there isn’t much of a view because of the many trees, but it’s still a nice relaxing place to explore.
john champoux: An absolutely beautiful place to go check it out for yourself
Roy C White Jr: Good park, has grills for cooking, a child's play area, but I really like the exercise stations throughout the trails you can stop and perform the various exercises...the only negative here for me, is not enough clean up and cutting of the grass and trees in the spring and summer.
Kim Hap: Clean environment.
Lú Morellato: Lindo
Rodrigo J Diel: Great place for picnics

Nicholas Weissman LaFrance: Tough to find parking
Torre Marks: It's a good 👍Visited on Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $16–20 …More
Kest Schwartzman: Not particularly hikable, mostly a not-marked-on-the-map military base. There was a cute lake that was publicly accessible, though
Sean LeClair: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry FreeMore
Laura R.: We stopped here on a Monday afternoon and did the river trail loop. It's a pleasant walk and the trails are generally well maintained but unfortunately we spent the whole time listening to target practice at the nearby military base. It was both unnerving and disruptive.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free …More
Lux Llama Productions: Great place!
Ronald Martin: Lovely, secluded area. Nice 2-mile loop trail. Well marked with signs. A little more overgrown than other places we have been but still easy to walk the trail. We went on a day with a moderate breeze so it wasn't too buggy. This is a wetlands area. I imagine on a calm day there can be lots of mosquitoes. Make sure to bring bug spray.
Jonathan Schaab: Beautiful, but the constant sound of gunfire is somewhat irritating.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Mike Houston: Great place to walk. Many trails, but bring the bug spray
Luke Trujillo: Wonderful place to fish. I caught a few perch and my buddy got some small mouth bass.
Kyle Guisarde: Mosquito breeding ground
Howard L: Great kayaking. Upstream from Rt. 2 several trees across the river for ?1 mile (as of summer 2021), so you need to pick your path carefully. Proceed with caution! Nashua River Watershed Association has a good paddling guide.
Skippy Stutler: Awesome. Well managed..plenty of bird watchers and swimmers
Lezlie Densmore: Bathrooms were locked
Scot Oram: Canoing, hiking,..bird watching
Laura Lane: Scenic loop trail along the river and through wetlands. Lots of birds and wildlife. Flat easy hiking.
Joao Neto: Ótimo local para caminhada. Ótimo para pescar. Rio tranquilo para kaiak e bote.
Roger Leary: Can't wait to kayak outta here
Madel Mann: So beautiful and the access to the water is really great. I would’ve given it a five stars, Except for the gun practice noise coming in from Fort Devens. And I hear this is a regular thing. But still really beautiful and worth the paddle. Easy parking and easy access into the water no problem.
Ray Stevens: Beautiful location to take a hike or go kayaking/canoeing.

Hawk Valley Farm: what do users think?

Felipe L: Good place for a walk. Lots of small trails and loops.
Tim s: Cool
Princess Charming: Nice and woodsy. Not what you expect when you think 'farm'. Historical though. Second oldest house in Lowell! Bug repellant needed.
