New England Neurological Associates: what do users think?
michael gorgoglione: It would be amazing if I ever got a call back from these people. Multiple messages after surgery and ZERO call backs
Kevin Z: I booked an appointment with Dr. Miller at this clinic. I traveled farther on a snowy day to Lowell instead of Lawrence just to be seen sooner. On the day of the appointment, i was led to a physician assistant. At first I thought he was another nurse before the doctor. He is professional by the way (2 stars instead of 1 because of him). But if I had been told that Dr Miller was too busy, I would have booked another doctor (Dr Ty) or wait for another date. This kind of practice really makes me think this clinic is not trustworthy, and question if their treatment plan is for the benefit of the patients or their financial gain.
Barry Stanky: My first time seeing a neurologist for a nerve conduction velocity test, so there was a bit of anxiety not knowing exactly what was involved. As it turned out it was a breeze. Everyone I dealt with from the receptionist on were very courteous and professional. Dr Zhou conducted the test and explained everything she was doing. All went well. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish.
Walda Ruiz: I was very pleased with the service and the place in general. Max Manganow was very professional and answered my questions thoroughly and completely. Definitely felt good about my visit there.
Susan Masson: Staff is outstanding Dr's genuinely take time to explain what is going on . Been with them for sometime. Very pleased.
Logan Nason: These are some of the worst people you can deal with. They constantly are rude to you about your state of health. They think they’re all knowing and they take real offense to a second opinion which is ludicrous in the medical profession. These “doctors” need to have their licenses revoked for mistreatment of many patients and these nurses and people who answer the phone need to have a children’s elementary course of how to treat other human beings like they’re people. Disgusting treatment would absolutely recommend going anywhere but here. Also the fact that there is literal fake reviews on getting a good diagnosis and right course of treatment should scare others away. Just read the other reviews and see what I mean. This place is a 100% avoid at all cost.
Wanda Bouras: I do not recommend this practice at all. Dr. Arya Farahmand, MD he is extremely rude not professional at all. If I could give it less than one star I would. Unfortunately he do NOT have any bedside Manner and they do not respect their patients at all. My elderly mother have gone there repeatedly for the same problem and this mean Dr. do not offer any type of explanation or even the offer to go someplace else. He was extremely rude to my mother and very inprofessional. Of course my mother left this practice so I'm so glad she did. Please if you are looking for a specialist go elsewhere and always check the reviews. It is very important.
Jill Gray: Less than 1 star...i honestly feel like I never get answers during my appointments with dr Morray for my Neurological issues I've been having since 2019...and worsening. He's very friendly and SEEMS like he cares but he doesn't and i saw it at My last appointment.......I went in he poked me w a Pin a few times. I told him my issues are still happening and he said follow me and brought me to receptionist where I figured out then and there my appointment was over...complete waste of time. Then I use patient portal to ask questions that were not answered during my appointment and he hasn't responded. He use to..now doesn't bother. What he doesn't get... I'm desperate for answers and solutions as I cannot even barely function.
Gavin Spencer: Great service! Loved everything about it
Madeline Winters: The staff is always very friendly and my Dr. Listens to you...
Tiana Heafey (TI-TI): Wonderful
Trudy Searle: Our experience was a total waste of time. I can't even click on a star because 1 is too much. Of our two appointments, first consult and follow up, we spent approximately 7 minutes with the doctor. We had an 8:30 appointment on the follow up date and we arrived at 8:10 just to make sure we were on time, we were called in to doctor's office, and we were on the road home from this appointment by 8:35. We were speechless. Later that week we ran in to the doctor waiting for the elevator at the hospital after visiting with a friend, he waited with us at the elevator, stepped into the elevator and rode to the floor to exit hospital and he NEVER recognized that we had been in his office just days before. How can you possibly explain that lack of care or interest for a patient. I see I have to click on at least 1 star or my post won't go through.....
Carol B: Everyone was kind and caring. It was totally a positive experience.
Jenn Casey: I have been a patient of NENA for 9-10 years now. I have seen various doctors and continually make appointments with the specific Doctor, based on medical issue, the Doctors, PA and all staff are amazing. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for the medical issues I have, I completely entrust the Dr. I see will listen to my concerns, answer questions with professionalism, making sure any & all issues are addressed. When checking in with reception for appointments the ladies are absolutely wonderful in both Lowell or Lawrence office. Anytime I call to speak with Dr. Cook assistant Cris is AMAZING, she is prompt with help to resolve everything I’ve needed assistance with, best of all, when Cris completes request, she follows up with a call to keep me informed. I absolutely without hesitation highly recommend NENA!!! Of course, if your medical needs require 1 of the many, many different medical areas they help with!Personally Thanks to All Doctors and Staff at NENA, you’ve helped me to live a better life!!
Thomas Klessens: Speedy and efficient !
Brian Morisseau: Professional staff and excellent communication from doctors. They explain every step of the way...
Don Cayer: Karin was prompt and thorough with her review of my condition
Mohammad Zabihi: Wont be back, wont recommend the place
Kelly Fernandes: I would not send my worst enemy here. The most rude people that will belittle you and make you feel horribly disrespected. It begins with the lady in registration being a complete dramatic witch and continues throughout the practice with cold, uncaring, toxic staff. You'll wait hours to be seen and for nothing.
Joaldie Rodriguez: I used to work for this place and the environment is so toxic it’s impossible to able to work for them. The supervisor for Lowell and Westford is dramatic and likes to talk a lot. She documents even if you breathe wrong in front of patient she dedicates her job to destroy you mentally and act like a victim to the director of the clinic i felt harassed by her and when i went to file a complaint with the director i was notallowed to because the director does not like to here no one’s side but the supervisor they fired be for 64 documentation in just 7 months they fire you for every little mistake you do. The supervisor harassed for the entire 7 months and when you try to speak to someone above they don’t care they don’t treat there employees with respect, they don’t care about there employees!!!
Michael Fletcher: Initial care and diagnosis by the two providers I have seen in Lawrence was excellent. However, follow up phone calls and patient portal communication with the doctors is a lot to be desired.I will not return to NENA.

Dr. Jonathan S. Moray, MD: what do users think?
Edward Edward: One of the best neurologists I ever seen always been treated great by staff and Doctor Moray I wish more doctor offices would. Be like them some doctor offices should take the page from dr. Moray offices get my meds on time never ever had a problem with meds dr. Moray and staff always take the time to answer my questions or my concerns without hesitation I am lucky to have found him
nancy sidhom: Dr. Moray is such a wonderful provider. He has a superb bedside manner, takes the time to listen, and really addresses all concerns. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago and doesn’t speak much English but he is so kind with her. He did a very thorough work up when she was first diagnosed and it’s just always just a pleasure interacting with him. He always responds to Emails promptly and addresses any medication issues right away.
Stan Sosnicki: Dr Moray is the BEST neurologist I have ever had and I have had several. Very knowledgeable and concerned for the patient. I feel like I'm in good hands.
Renee.: Dr. Moray is one of the greatest doctors and has gone above and beyond to help me. He’s always been there and he is taking that extra step to make sure that I am taken care of. I could go on but I think that says it all Dr. Moray is the best neurologist out there.
Marissa Hamel: I went to see him and he didn't pay any attention as to what was wrong with me he didn't listen all he said is " ok I'll see you in 6 months "
Sandra Lajoie: You have to keep on top of him over and over. Its time to find a new doctor. I have been tring for a week to get my prescription right. Like they said in the previous comments, you are treated like a number. One appointment i had he started backing out the door as i was voicing my concerns and then said we will discuss it at your next appointment . He then left without me having a chance to say anything. I sat there for a minute in shock that he just treated me like that after all the money to go there. His name went to his head .
Max Wininger: He's saved my life and I trust him with my life. I don't trust any other Dr. With my life. I had spinal fusion surgery and it went horribly wrong. The surgeon put on a med called Ultram and it gave me Gran Mal Seizures. I almost died from them. The very first time I met him he assured me he would be right by side to help me with these seizures. I've had about 10 more since I started seeing him in 2014. And now he's got me on the right meds and I feel so much better thanks to Dr. Moray. He's even called me on my cell phone numerous times at night just to check on me. He will always be neurologist for life.
Karen Kasinskas: Excellent doctor...took the time to listen and answer all my questions....def a great recommendation!
Marissa Rojas: He doesn't know what he's doing and is not help full in the least bit!
Lindsey Morse: Poor excuse for a doctor. I had him for 3 years and would have to remind him about scheduling my MRI's. Treated me as a number. I have Grand Mal seizures and a growth on my brain and he did not try to help me get to the bottom of my health problems. I finally smartened up and called Tufts. The Tufts doctor was shocked and disgusted when I explained my experience with Jonathan Moray. If you have a serious medical condition and want even decent care do NOT choose this man. He should have his license pulled immediately

Bruce R. Cook, M.D., F.A.C.S: what do users think?
Charlotte Delph: This was my 3rd back surgery. Dr Cook did my last 2 surgeries. I think he's a great Dr. I'm q3 days post op and having severe leg pain. I don't blame this on Dr CookThis is something that's not his fault, from what I readIt just happens. I'm in excruciating pain in my leg constantly. I'm calling him this morning to let him know how bad the leg is. No complaints at all.
Joe Smolko: Still have pain ten weeks after surgery
Dr Mike for Cynthia Sullivan: Patient was on the brink of disaster from a neck injury. After being denied surgical service needed at Boston Spine and denied required much needed immediate intervention and being ultimately left to become another wheelchair bound life ..Dr. Cook took the wheel on second opinion which prevented this from becoming a reality. A MD who puts the patients well being first ..straight shooter.. honesty and integrity at the forefront. Great man.. great surgeon..and very thankful patient and family.
Kris L: Dr Bruce Cook is a rockstar in my book!! Surgery went great. 5 years later, I thank him got the quality of life I have now.

Henry Ty , M.D., F.A.C.S.: what do users think?
David Prestipino: Many people have spoken highly of Doctor TY, Which is why I decided to have him do my back surgery. I do sales locally and Everytime I talked to a physical therapist or anyone in the healthcare field, I would ask about spine doctors , because I knew I was going to need surgery. Everyone always raved about DR. Henry TY. I even sold cars to a couple of his patients, they raved about how he was and how painless their experiences were. All the physical therapist said Doctor TY's patients were always the good ones compared to most of the other doctors.I'm one day out of surgery, this is very painless and successful, compared to my last back surgery. I feel great, there is no need to travel to Boston, when there is a High Level Elite surgeon in your back yard. I very, very happy and highly recommend Dr. Henry TY.
Victor Parra: I received a courteous deal
Matt Stroika: Dr Ty has been wonderful. I could not recommend him enough to anyone that needs a neurosurgeon. Kind, caring, and takes the time to know you.
kim gatta: Best surgeon on the planet for sure. I went for years with pain no real help. Dr Ty didn't fool around . Found cause of pain tried a few things looked at paper work and fixed my spine 4 weeks out of surgery BEST thing ever did. LOVE that he didn't make me stay in pain.
debbie mark sancranti: Most satisfying first visit I’ve ever encountered. When we met for the first time he was very knowledgeable about my husband and asked questions to confirm and about updates. It seems every other first visit with a dr I’ve ever experienced even follow ups they always seem to be looking at the chart for the first time. He did his homework and it is much appreciated.
Elizabeth Elbag: Caring and thorough, and highly recommend. Dr. Ty has your best interest first and foremost, before moving forward with surgury. Thank you for everything, you saved my mind and much more.
Linda Marconi: Dr Ty is the kindest, most normal neuro-surgeon ever. He is the most knowledgable Neuro-surgeon I have ever met. His skills are amazing. He is understanding and kind. He goes beyond what he has to go. He is very thoughtful of the family that is waiting for their family member to come out of surgery.

Dr. Bruce R. Cook, MD: what do users think?
Anabel Bordas: This doctor messed me up, he did a decompression surgery on me but he didn’t properly do it!! Not only did he messed up because of incompetency but NO ONE listened to my concerns, they pinned my symptoms to something completely different than what it was. It happens that I got tired after 3 years of not being heard and symptoms came back full force… he did not(no one in the facility) wanted to addressed his proper decompression… so I left to an specialist who found that his attempt to decompressing failed, not only did it failed but he and his team failed to LISTEN to me. I had to request an MRI in a manner that I didn’t want, but finally found out that my cerebellum was more compressed than before he did the surgery. I basically only lasted 1 year ( that’s being generous) feeling some relief and then everything went down hill. I’m glad he retired, he should’ve done it 100 years ago. Him and his team basically ruined 4 years of my life
Maureen McMahon: I had surgery on a herniated disc about 6 years ago. He was professional and had a good bedside manner, I haven't had any issues since. I would recommend him.
Elaine Metcalfe: Was seen by Dr. Cook for severe back pain that I'd had for 2 months at that point. He was a 2nd opion for me. He suggested that it was not my back that was the whole problem, but my hip. He was also concerned about an auto immune disease. He had me go to get blood drawn and a hip X-ray. He felt the Xray would not show anything and we would need to get an MRI. He told me he would call me the next day with blood results and X-ray results. I never received a call, for over 4 days I called his office to speak with him. He never called me back. He had his rude assistant Danielle call me to tell me I needed MRI. I had the MRI and again waited for Dr. Cook to call with my results. That was over 3 weeks ago and have yet to get a call. I not only don't have the blood work results, but the MRI results as well.I feel as though I was just a way to make money off of me. He had come recommended to me from 3 different people who had seen him. I knew going to Lowell was a stretch. I should have gone with my gut instinct and went to Boston. You should go to Boston. This guy is only in office 2 days a week come to find out. Waste of money and time!

Shapur A Ameri, MD: what do users think?
Bob Kramer: Terrible patient care, out of date with technology, no email or texting, no credit cards, no monitors in the patient rooms to look at MRI or X-rays and no follow up calls! Avoid this relic of a surgeon.
Conor Kinney: If I could give Dr. Ameri 6 stars I would. He truly cares for his patients and has done everything to help me heal. Go see him if you're in pain.
Dana Giuliana: Dr Ameri seems like a very knowledgeable doctor. The staff is not very friendly and not very informative about why I sit in the lobby for an hour waiting. He’s never on time with his visits and doesn’t apologize for making you wait - siting in pain mind you. I had to wait over an hour for one of my appointments. This is unacceptable these days. They also don’t accept debit cards. Who, but my 70yr mother, walks around with a checkbook?
