Best Pet Cemetery Lowell Near Me

Trixie Lishious: The men who work at the cemetery are AWESOME! IF you're going to bury your pet, I highly suggest this place. However, IF you choose to cremate your pet, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! The cemetery contracts cremations out to a third company. On the box it says "The Regency Family," so I'm guessing that's the company. Well, these ppl CAN'T get your pets name correct and the urn they use, GARBAGE WOOD FROM CHINA! The box is all scratched up and has the WRONG name on it. THEN, you have to deal with the moody and unpleastant ppl at the MSPCA to get your pets remains. I refused to take the certificate with ANOTHER pet's name on it and that did NOT sit well with them. They acted like they did this for FREE! I paid $160.00, I EXPECT my pet's name to be CORRECT on the certificate!! I WILL ALWAYS wonder now IF it's REALLY my pet's ashes in the baggie. All I can do is pray they didn't screw that up too. It's sad enough loosing your pet, but to them have to worry IF I got the right remains back, THAT'S EVEN SADDER!

Olga Parkin: Fabulous guided tour . The grounds are well maintained and so peaceful. So many fabulous marble and granite structures. Very rich in history. So glad I went.

Scott Phillips: This is a great place. I read about this location in a book called Mourning Glory and I absolutely adore the title. The Author Catherine Goodwin was a good guide when it came to hearing stories of the individual people. Then when the tours got headed by Richard Howe the style shifted to the interesting history. Both are good ways to go about it.

The Lowell Cemetery has the most humbling extraordinary landscape and an amazing floral array. Although we live on, where our loved ones passed on. This cemetary is a tranquil peaceful place for those we miss.

Kevin Dill: My grandmother and grandfather grew up in Lowell and are buried at the Lowell Cemetery. I've never been to visit and my wife and I are going for the first time this Memorial Day. I can't wait to go and see. I never got to go to their grave so I'm excited to visit.

Beryl Reid: I am so lucky to live near this beautiful place. We walk through here all the time. It is really a gorgeous garden that happens to also memorialize the lives of others. The cemetery has some wonderful stories and monuments. There is a witch, a lion and book chair. They are building a Columbarium to memorialize those who are cremated. If you like history and gardens this is a wonderful place to wander around in. There are two entrances, one on Lawrence Street and one on Knapp avenue the road behind Shedd Park.

Kevin Hudson: Visited Jack Kerouacs grave for the first time. Was surreal. Beautiful cemetery. Nice locals, two walkers helped me find his grave because my phone died on the way there, then one, Celeste actually saw me after walking down the street and gave me a ride back to where I was going.
