Bernadette Capoccia: We are new to the area and we're looking for a dog groomer. We found this place called the grooming emporium in Lowell mass. I met with the staff and gave specific instructions on how to groom our Brittany dog. Within 30 -35 minutes they were done grooming our dog. When we saw our baby finnick and how they shaved off all his fur and left some bald sections we were speechless and in shock. What kind of business grooms a dog in that period of time when our last groomers took 3-4 hours to groom finnick. Now our dog is looking horrible and we have to wait for his fur to grow All back for him to look like a Brittany dog again. If people really care and love there furry babies do not take your pet to this place for any grooming services.

Jane Jason: I have been bringing my dogs for nail trims and my Cavalier (now passed) for years without incident and with no complaints. However I recently brought my toy poodle and she came home with a burn or abrasion of some type on her face. I wasn't informed about it until I called from home after seeing it. The owner said she "patted the area with cold water," and something about the clippers and close shave. It seemed more of a crusty scab or dry glue on her. Naturally my dog scratched at it opening up a bleeding wound. When I called the owner back ..she argued with me that "nothing" happened to the dog after already telling me she addressed it at the shop with cold water. She then accused me of showing her a picture of the opposite side of my dogs face..lol.. My dogs nose in both pictures facing in the same direction is evident that it was the same side of her face. I just wanted to know what happened exactly so that I could treat the injury and all I got was denial and argument and a rant about being "transparent". There was ZERO transparency with my case, as well as accusing me of showing another area. I showed her pictures..clearly the same side of the face, the same wound. Because she put up soo much of a defense it was clear she was just trying to cover up the unfortunate incident. Also..I asked who did the grooming this time because I've never complained about a groom before, and this one was shoddy and messy. I won't return. You can take your chances, but if something does happen, chances are you or your dog will get blamed.

We honestly didn't know anything about his hair or that it needed a lot of brushing, but the workers here have been very good with him. After many positive daycare experiences, I’m disappointed to say that for safety and ethical reasons, we will never return.

I understood this when covid was more prevalent and you would think if they were so covid conscious, they staff would be wearing masks but no. I like to see how the staff treats my dog and how they keep the place inside. Seems like using covid is an excuse to potentially be treating the dogs not well and keeping the inside unclean and unsanitary for the dogs. My dogs nails were still a little sharp and scratchy after the appointment.

Joshua Maldonado: Incredible is the first word that comes to mind when I think back on my experience with Lauren’s Puptopia! Our 15 week old Kona was nervous upon going in. But Lauren was extremely patient with her and all the girls there loved on her and made her feel like a part of the family. She went for a bath and nail trim and she’s never looked better. She smells just as sweet as she is. Lauren and all the employees there treat your animal as if they are their own. Kona loved it so much there she didn’t want to leave! It was an entire experience for her she was a rescue from Texas and takes some time to trust people and it looks like she loves everyone there. I can’t recommend this place enough! Kristen Lesage: Fancy Tails was recommended to me for my mini Berne doodle after an awful experience at another local and well known groomer where we took our puppy for his first cut and was overcharged and the groomer did exactly what I had asked her not to do.So when it was time for my puppy to get a grooming again, I was apprehensive on who and where we should take him to.When I called Fancy Tails, I spoke directly to Joanne and explained what had happened and asked if she would be willing to meet me and my puppy before I booked anything. She was more than willing and able to do so that day.Upon arrival, my puppy was very excited to be in a new place and smell all the new smells. Joann watched my interaction with my dog thoughtful and gave me some tips and advice on how to get him to settle down. This was very helpful as my family and I are new puppy owners.Joann then placed my puppy up on the grooming table and checked for matting. She showed me how to brush out his fur and how to correctly comb out mats and gave a trick for trouble matting.She also spent time talking to me about the best way for me to keep up with his grooming to avoid matting and trouble spots.During this time my puppy was very happy and seemed to love the attention from Joanne.I was sold and asked when she would have time to groom him and she gave me an appointment for the next week but also gave me "homework" to do that would help avoid higher costs on my puppy's grooming. She was up front with the cost and what her services included.We looked at pictures of cuts and she listened carefully on what I was looking for.On the day of his cut, he remembered the place and Joanne and was thrilled to be getting dropped off. Joanne checked his coat quickly for mats and said that we had done a good job on keeping up with the grooming.20 minutes after I dropped him off Joanne called and kindly asked if I would be willing to allow her to videotape her with our puppy giving instructions on how to properly groom doodle breeds. I immediately agreed because I would love a visual instruction to guide myself as well.When he was ready to be picked up my husband and I were thrilled with the outcome of his cut!!!! Joanne did exactly what she said she would do and he looked amazing!!! He was happy and giving her kisses.Before we left Joanne said that his ears were really goopy and asked what type of food we were feeding him because certain food can cause excess build up in a dog's ears. She recommended that we go to a place in Hudson, NH for guidance on the best quality food for our puppy. We did go and my husband and I are so appreciative for her recommendation !Joanne, thank you for all that you do, your knowledge, love and passion for animals is beautiful! We will see you soon!

LG 78: Would not do brush out and bath for the cat without trimming nails. They did before and when I pointed that out the staff became very rude, short and argumentative. Others will do the job without trimming cats' nails. Not going there again.

Anna Ortiz: Critical:QualityIf your dog does not have short hair, stay away from this place. Always looking for the fastest way to get the job done, not the best way. If any effort at all is required in order to keep the dog's hair at a normal length, they will come home looking like a rodent.

Dave DeLuca: Shannon is the best!! We have been bringing our dogs Chester and Orson there for almost 2yrs now and she does a great job, great prices, nice lady and our dogs love her. We have been to alot of different groomers and our dogs have gotten scared to go back to other places . They drag their butts not to go to other groomers. So we always were taking our dogs to different groomers in search of one that us and the dogs liked. Now finally shannon saved the day.

I will be taking him back and bringing my new labradoodle puppy there as well. There is also a nice trail across the street to walk your dog before or after their grooming experinece.

If you love your dog, send them to Elegant Paws. My pup wouldn't let anyone got near her with scissors or doggie clippers. They were able to bathe her and trim her hair and nails.

Dorina Aldo: If you love your dog stay away from this groomer. Horrible woman, my dog ended up in the emergency room, she shaved my dog with dirty clippers and my dog got a serious infection .... IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG KEEP AWAY ...
