University Music: what do users think?
Jenny M: Great place for instruments, music, and lessons! Everyone is very friendly and prices are very reasonable. Marlene has helped me numerous times when I am looking for specific music for my piano students, and has also helped me with small repairs on my violin. I greatly enjoyed taking violin lessons here with Natalia.

James McNulty: Watch out for the big chicken, almost got me last time
Nathalia: i do my violin lessons here and its awesome

Marlene Buckley: Best customer service! Delivered digital piano to my home!
Mark Claffee: We went to give our rising 5th graders a chance to see the instruments they can select between for next year. We got tons of 1 on 1 attention, they got to hold and try whatever instruments they were interested in. In the end everyone is happy and instruments are selected with confidence.
Jack Sharon: Great store! They carry music and instruments for all levels of musician! Marlene, the owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
Tq'λtsenoe Tchosenone: Great Place with friendly staff who definitely know what they are selling. A great help to the community, and definitely one of the most Iconic Stores in Lowell. Excellent Prices and range of accessories as well as instruments too! The staff is very down to earth and friendly,Marlene has a great memory for anything, anything, whether it is musical gadgets, gimmicks, or students she's taught (like my 20 year older than me cousin who she still remembers! Wow!)Eric is more than a whole unit of Inspiration from many Students across the Middle Schools, (where the band program and a generation of musicians begins), and is also very amicable,And I'm sure Buck is great. They also serve free cake on special dates!
Manu Hegde: Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have bought my alto sax, reeds, and tons of music from this place. My questions have always been answered quickly and easily. This place has lessons as well which I find very helpful. Overall, an excellent place for any instrumental or musical needs.
D Nel: I strongly recommend this place! They sell various instruments and it's the perfect place for band students. They do private lessons, got sheet music, can try the intrument out (as long as you bring your own mouthpiece) and got nice brands that I always use. The owner is very nice and kind. I feel that it is a bit more expensive here (at least saxophone reeds), but considering you'll most likely get what you want here, it's not bad at all. Strongly recommended!
Dominique Cyprès: The owner Marlene helped me find exactly what I needed.
Christian hayon: Great place, they have WiFi!
Thomas Radovan: Very knowledgeable great people
Eileen Oliveira: Friendly service
C S: Knowledgeable people helping us navigate the music instrument world. Very friendly people and reasonably priced rentals.

Joel Naticchioni: Very helpful and knowledgeable people here. They enjoy every instrument (and they have a LOT to choose from) that's in here, and are glad to help you find the perfect fit for your style and budget. Luthiers are available to fix and adjust almost anything. Music lessons are offered, too. It's a little hidden and tucked away, but the best places are.
Sabrina: Loved them, two nice folx that know their music, got a Yamaha from them for quite a deal, came with everything

Darrell's Music Hall, Piano Gallery: what do users think?
MJM Wellington: Great place. Very helpful and easy to work with highly recommended.
Sear Chea: Hello everyone out there in the market for a new piano. For a while now my wife and I been searching for a new piano for our son, but it is confusing and quite a challenge because we don’t know pianos at all.We ended up at Darrell’s Music Hall in Nashua, New Hampshire, family owned piano shop for generations.Adam Darrell walked us through his shop and took his time explaining the varieties, options and features of each pianos on the floor and what would be best for our 12 year old.During our shopping experience Adam welcomed us as friends and family, never pressured us to purchase their high end pianos at any point. After our order had been placed Adam seamlessly scheduled his crew to remove our old piano from our home and kindly provide us a LOANER PIANO so our son could continue to have his weekly piano practice during the waiting period.Just recently our new piano had arrived and delivered as promised. The crew is very professional and their cleanup was spotless after the final delivery. We couldn’t be any happier to have at this new and beautiful piano in our living room now.You guys are awesome and we will highly recommend you to all of our friends and family in the future.Thank you.
Brian Kelly: What a wonderful gem of a business. We have twice bought pianos from Darrell's (both times working with Adam) and the service, price, and delivery were second to none. Adam even dropped off a loaner piano when the global supply chain issues were causing delays getting our piano delivered from Yamaha. You will have zero regrets about buying from Darrell's.
Dan Bailey: Just bought a wonderful new Roland digital grand piano. Adam was excellent, knowledgeable, and delivered my new piano with care. You really can't go wrong -- he even honored the Black Friday pricing because that's when I first inquired, though I didn't pull the trigger until January. Awesome product, awesome price, awesome service. I almost never write reviews, but Darrell's is the best.
Bruce Maggs: Wanted to send a message regarding my purchase of the Yamaha CLP745.Came to Darrell’s to see and try some acoustic used pianos. Thinking console or a little larger.Met with Russ who was very helpful. He listened to what I needed and showed me a number of used keyboards that I was able to try. Also told me a lot about the models and their quality.Russ was very patient and good about allowing me plenty of time to look, play, and ask questions. All said and done, he then asked me how I felt about trying a digital keyboard. I had played electric keyboards back in the 90's and was not at all happy with the experience. As we talked , I said that my biggest problem was with the key response.Russ was very patient and explained how far digital keyboards have come since the 90's.I tried the Yamaha 745 and was instantly impressed with the key response. It felt like a good acoustic keyboard. And then the sound was also not at all like the old keyboards. Especially the bass notes and upper range.Russ then mentioned the other keyboard models and makes. I tried a few, but still came back to the 745.After going home, I checked some reviews online and was impressed with knowledgeable sources reviewing the 745. So, I was quite happy to purchase the 745.Bottom line, a few weeks later. After a number of hours on the keyboard, I am even more impressed by the action and sound. I would highly recommend this Yamaha to others. And I would highly recommend my experience with Darrell's.Well done! Thank you.
Maria Gendron: I searched for a while for a digital piano to replace by big, old acoustic. In stores and online searches were fine, but walking into Darrell’s was the best move. Adam was very helpful and patient answering my questions and letting me try different products for comparison. I live an hour away in a very rural area, but delivery was free. Adam was very quick but careful in putting the piano and bench together for me and reviewed how to operate it. I love my new Clavinova! Thank you Adam!!
Tommy Barth: What's not to love: multi generational, family owned music store with extensive inventory and fantastic customer service. I purchased a Yamaha baby grand and had it delivered by Darrell's. My entire experience was stellar. HIGHLY recommend this team!
Michelle T: Seven years ago we went to Daryls (per recommendation of my sons piano teacher) to purchase his first electric piano. Recently we returned and worked with Adam to pick a "real" piano for my son. He was wonderful from teaching about & recommending different pianos, to allowing my son to try and play different painos for about an hour. Delivery was within the week, efficient and professional. They took our electric piano away upon delivery as they gave us money towards our new purchase. We love Daryl's! Highly recommended.
Jiazhen PENG: Excellent service.Free deliver doesn't matter where you are (for me it is 50 min away) and right on time, installation is careful and fast. Most importantly, the piano is great, my daughter loves it! Definitely first choice for anyone lives in MA.
Irene Zou: Adam and his team are super nice and provide very good services. Piano was delivered earlier than I expected! Thank you Adam.
Nicholas McMahon: The buying experience here was awesome. I took a lot of time to decide on what I wanted, since I was unsure about moving from acoustic to digital. Adam was great and gave me all the time I needed to try out the different models, and I never felt like I was being pressured to buy at all. He set up 6 different models side by side for me to try out. After a week or two of thinking about it, he made the buying process super smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend!
David R: A+ piano shopping, buying, and in-home setup experience! The process of shopping took us over a month and Adam was patient, helpful, and supportive throughout. He made it a priority to make sure we were getting the right piano for our needs and wants and never tried to sell us on anything, just incredibly helpful and insightful, and all his suggestions were spot on. And the customer service felt above and beyond, in ways only a friendly family-owned business can provide. I should also mention the prices are the best I've seen in the area. Our experience with Darrell’s was really fantastic, and we're thrilled with the piano. Highly, highly recommend checking them out for all things piano.
Andrew Kangethe: My father and I bought a digital piano from Darrell’s close to a month ago, and we were beyond impressed with the service here. Not only were the piano’s better than we had expected, they were also extremely affordable, also with payment plan options available too.I really enjoyed speaking with Adam, and his customer service and personality made for a really nice experience. It wasn’t just to product that we got (even though we can’t complain about that), it was the fact that we were speaking to someone not there to sell, but to interact and help find what it was we were looking for.I highly recommend this place. It’s the best in the area. Props to these guys
Bill Tanski: I just bought a used (but not really) Yamaha Baby grand piano that is hands-down the best piano I have ever played, in the GC line. It is also a player piano that includes silent mode, allowing me to play at night. The instruments, the experience of trying them, and the guidance provided by Darrell (the owner) and Russ, were exceptional. They are are a number of very advanced digital pianos now that cannot be differentiated in sound from a true baby grand piano, and they helped with all of the various options available. I ultimately chose a piano that is a great acoustic piano, along with multiple digital features. I recommend them without reservation.
Laura Kane: When I finally decided to look into buying a digital piano, I certainly came to the right place. Adam had done his homework and so knew what I was looking for, and he pointed me in just the right direction to find a good fit for my hopes, needs, and budget, without any pressure and without my feeling overwhelmed at the choices. I traveled from a distance to make this purchase, and Adam was with me every step of the way, handling the logistics with professionalism, kindness, and understanding.
Siang: Thanks Adam and Russ for your excellent service and pricing. Highly recommended.
Peter Mowschenson: I have bought 3 pianos/keyboards from Darrell's over the past ten years and have encouraged friends to use this piano store. They have and excellent range of new and used instruments at all price points.Adam, Russ and Casey are always very helpful and knowledgable, and their prices are very competitive. I have visited other stores, but always gravitate back to Darrell's where I know I am obtaining sound advice from knowledgeable people.I very strongly recommend this family owned business if you are in the market to purchase an acoustic piano or keyboard.
Philip: During my first visit to Darrell's in May 2021 to learn about digital pianos, Adam helped me take my time trying out a variety of models. He was very patient, professional, informative, and friendly and provided some very useful advice to help with my search. In July, I returned, spent more time trying out pianos, and bought a Roland HP704, which was delivered and set up by Adam a few days later. He has encouraged me to telephone him when I have any questions. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and with the customer service from Darrell's.
Gavin Corey: I ordered my girlfriend a piano from here and Adam and his team were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the purchase, delivery, and set up of the piano. He even offered to "go to bat" for me when I was having difficulty getting the piano manufacturer to honor the rebate. I highly recommend Darrell's Music Hall and we'll certainly be going here again!
Michael Keating: Adam was extremely friendly and helpful!
Mommy DIVA: Beautiful Place. Beautiful Pianos.

Londonderry Piano: what do users think?
Steve B: I bought an upright Kawasaki CA59 from there - The owners are one of the best people I have met, they are kind, helpful with a lot of knowledge regarding piano. They found a piano for us when best fit our needs and budget. I can’t recommend them enough
Maria I Bascaran Ramirez: I am in love with my new Kawai. It’s beautiful, the keys feel more like those of a piano and it sounds great. I’m so happy I decided to check this place out instead of purchasing something online. John and his wife (and puppy) were kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. No amount of online researching for the best digital piano would have matched their experience and recommendations.
Sean Gallagher: Excellent used piano buying experience here with John, would highly recommend!
Anthony Duffy: Proud to be part of this family owned and operated piano company. Thanks to great customers, staff and instruments.
Paul S. Satia: Anthony is amazing and made our piano buying experience flawless. He is courteous, professional and will go out of his way to accommodate you.I would absolutely not go to anyone else in the future. Thanks Anthony!
Cheryl Garrity: The Duffy's knew their pianos. We went in with one in mind they agreed it was beat for our son described its features and let my son play it. Mr. Duffy had a conversation with my husband patiently listening to his description of our 1890 upright, answered his questions that went beyond what we were purchasing and laughed at his corny jokes. Mr. Duffy engaged my son and discussed his piano lessons and education plans, not easy with a teenager. The price was very reasonable and we can trade up in the future and get full credit for the purchase. You do not get any of this from the that internet bohemoth.
Yan Cociani: Please don't ask why I give Five stars. If you or your family are planning to buy a piano, please to check the Londonderry Piano NH out first! I'm very sure that you won't be disappointed!! Thank you all!!!
Christopher Zhou: They have a great selection of Kawai digital pianos! It was a pleasure trying them out. I ended up buying a CA59 and am loving it so far!
andrew davis: Super knowledgeable and excellent customer service. I bought a piano from them in a different state and had it in 3 weeks.
Fadi: I had a choice of buying my first piano from a number of places but there's something about Londonderry Piano and talking to John that felt just right. I appreciated John's quick response to my inquiries, his explanation of the instrument, his honesty about customers who purchased a competitor brand (which he also carries) but having recent customers switch to the brand I'm considering. John was kind and honest and provided a really competitive price in the market. It's important for me when I make a big purchase that I feel that other person is being honest and genuine and that's what I experienced in working with John at Londonderry Piano. My piano was delivered and assembled flawlessly right before Christmas which was a great gift. I will absolutely business with Londonderry Piano in the future and would recommend them to anyone I know who may be considering a purchase.
Rob O'Toole: Great experience with L.P. I visited and spent some time with John discussing digital pianos. Very interesting and helpful. John provided me with a nice deal on a Kawai trade-in for the new digital piano. Went smoothly. Great service and quality pianos. Highly recommended.
Kathy Kennedy: It’s not everyday you come across customer service at this level. I was buying a Kawai digital piano for my son as a Christmas present. I looked high and low all over MA but it was out of stock everywhere. Thankfully I found it in (tax free) NH! Bonus! As a single mom I almost never have a kid free minute, but I did have a small window last Sunday. I called and got through to John even though they were closed (must transfer calls to his cell). I explained my predicament and he called another employee who lived a half hour away. He came and opened the store just so I could get this done kid free! He had it ready to load into my car and it was a seamless transaction. They not only saved Christmas but got a customer for life! After this unexpected level of service I wouldn’t go anywhere else and neither should anyone else that is deciding on where to buy your piano.
M Fulmer: Amazing guys!! They arrived on a Sunday that was never expected. We all helped getting the piano into the truck. John and and Anthony are wonderful! Just want my old piano to go to somebody who will play it and enjoy it. Had it since I was a kid. Miss it already!
Robert Finnegan: I cannot tell you how pleased we are with the service and guidance we received from the entire staff at Londonderry Piano! John, in particular, was beyond helpful, informative and took time to understand what we were looking for from this purchase. His expertise in the field is a 10. His honesty and customer focus is a 10 (John personally delivered the piano within a day of purchase). And, in this time of pandemic, LP's priority of keeping his customers safe with appointment only viewing, masks, and sanitizing equipment was at the forefront.I highly recommend Londonderry Piano!
Archives of Her Mind: I love my new Kawai KDP110 piano. The service at Londonderry Piano was wonderful when I bought the piano. It's been terrific to relax with, especially during these very trying times of the pandemic. I contacted Londonderry Piano by telephone first. Got a lot of information which I looked up on line. Came in with questions that were all answered. Voila...I bought the piano. Londonderry Piano also has a great selection of music for all experience levels. Sandy K.
Steve Ronayne: Super friendly, helpful staff. Have an nice range and selection of pianos and digital keyboards. Highly recommend.
si wang: I could purchase my grande piano in MA, but when I get to talk to the owners, I did not like how they do their business. Then I searched on line, and talked to John over the phone. I just liked how he understand the business and not trying to say bad things about others. They are the biggest Kawai representative in New England. Talk to John, then make your decision.
Joel Janovsky: I recently purchased a Kawai digital piano and bench at Londonderry Piano, and I was delighted with the experience. It was a pleasure to meet John. He has a wealth of knowledge about pianos, and he was especially helpful in directing me to the products that met my needs. Also, I felt very confident purchasing from Londonderry Piano knowing that they are there to assist with any questions or issues that come up. I'll be back soon to browse their large selection of piano sheet music!
Clay Miller: I had a wonderful experience shopping at Londonderry Piano. Knowledgable, very nice personnel. I bought a piano keyboard I am very happy with at a great price. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for Pianos or keyboards.
Chen Bingyi: Placed an order over the phone with John who is professional and easy to work with. Piano delivery was smooth, very happy with the purchase.
Cathy L.: Anthony was wonderful to work with and helped us find the perfect piano for us. Going into Londonderry Piano To talk to such an expert on the instrument far, far outweighs buying online sight unseen. If you are in the market for a piano, please give them a call. You will love your purchase.

The Tone Loft: what do users think?
J.T. Helms: I was looking for a new apartment in the area and came across this place as a recommendation from my last complex. I had the pleasure of speaking with Victoria throughout the experience. She was very nice, patient with me and all my questions, and kept me up to date with what was going on. Although I ultimately did not end up going with this complex, I loved everything about it and wish I would've been able to sign. Thanks again, Victoria!!
Cindy Wanjiru: If your into high ceilings & space go for it. Were do I begin with the hidden fees that are not explained to tenants via email at time of notice. Be prepared at move out to be charged a prorated amount even after giving them your notice. Secondly, I left before the 30 days and they charged me one month of parking when I was not even parking there & rent as if I was still there. The one star is for the leasing department and there failure to communicate. Things should be made clear for people if yall are going to Charge " Please" list it clearly with the prices so we are aware.Be Warned: if you do not return their plastic parking pass, keys ect. you will be charged alot for it. The plastic parking pass is equal to an entire months parking fee so if you pay for parking pay attention!
Greg Chaplin: Super helpful and friendly front office staff! I made an error with my move-in time and they made sure I was taken care of and moved in smoothly!
Garrett Sullivan: I live here currently and pay 2100 a month for rent. My ac currently works half the time, the elevator doesn’t work, and the doors on the first floor doesn’t open. Wouldn’t recommend. Below is a picture of my ac unit which hasn’t worked in about 2 months even though maintenance says nothings wrong
Matthew Roberts: I have been here for a year and a half. I live in loft 71. Victoria is a phenomenal leasing manager. She’s also an amazing person in general. Moving across the country to an unseen unit is extremely nerve racking. However, she kept us up to date every step of the way. Sending photos of similar units to see the concept. While also sending updated photos of our specific unit as it was being flipped for us. If repairs are needed they’re don’t quickly and efficiently. If it was possible, I’d give Victoria 10 stars.
michelle5321: I've almost been here for a year so this is a well experienced review. The apartments are beautiful, amenities are great , the most important of anything is that the office that handles my every request is 10/10 Victoria Callihan has been so accommodating. She makes my living here feel like a breeze. Maintenance wow..when i say they all are fantastic, I mean it!! ALL of them are super amazing , they even come with treats when they work in my apartment to give to my temperamental pup , who loveees them. Loft 27 put into prospective what property management should look like and you will not find a better attention anywhere. I'm fortunate to have landed in loft 27. Thank you all !!!
Nancy Lee: Leasing staff has been very helpful especially Victoria from the very beginning! Apartment is very spacious, amenities are nice to have as well and maintenance has been awesome when needed
Rene Martinez: I’ve lived here for 1.5 years. I would say it decent place . The apartment are spacious but it’s long building and if you live in the back be prepare for a walk . There isn’t enough parking spaces for all the tenants and they don’t paint the lines and sometimes causes difficulty to park because they don’t park correctly. Victoria is a very nice leasing manager.
Xavier Cummings: This stars in this review are specifically given for how great my experience has been with one of the staff members that has been making our time at 27 Loft a wonderful stay. Victoria Callihan has been supporting us since before we moved in and she has made every day she works there absolutely fabulous. She always greets with a friendly smile and goes the extra mile to ensure that any problems, concerns, or needs are addressed. She never makes a person feel as though they are one of hundreds of residents, as far as I know she is our personal concierge lol. I can’t thank her enough for help with packages, communications, maintenance, rent, facilities, and recommendations. She is the go to for everything. Thank you so much for your dedication to the residents, you have made this experience great- so much so that if anything were to happen to you I think we would have to leave the complex, its that big of a difference. 5/5 stars, would highly recommend. As far as the rest of the complex goes, the rent is 3/5 stars, its average for what you get. The apartments are very nice, the ceilings are incredible, but the value is average. Rent continues to go up even though there is a serious amount of inflation going on. I mean c’mon, not this year. The facilities are nice, its in a good location to walk to just about anything needed. 4/5 stars here. There is a gym and a community center, but in the time I’ve lived there, there have never been any pool balls for the table, and the communal area/ theater has been closed or unavailable. Looking forward to see if this improves.
Craig Miles: Becca is a rock star. I have been frantically looking for a place to live while trying to move from California and she was so kind and patient with me. She has an amazing attitude and was very courteous. She also knew the answer to all my zany questions. My wife and I look forward to living somewhere with employees like Becca.
Sofia Rios: This review is for the customer service, not the apartments themselves. I haven't rented a unit from this location yet but I have been working with their leasing consultant, Victoria Callihan, for a week now. I am relocating from Houston to Boston area for my job. Victoria has been extremely patient and helpful - providing floor plan options, answering my many questions and even providing three virtual tours via Facetime. As a customer service professional myself, I truly value her pleasant and helpful demeanor and all of her extra efforts.
Katarina Jesson: I Lived In 27 Jackson St Loft Lowell MA 01852 APT 436. My Lease Ended August 31st 2021. I Had Put My Furniture Outside The Elevators & Arranged Movers To Come Pick Up The Furniture On August 31st. Some Of The Furniture Was Going To Storage - While The Rest Was Being Thrown Away. Today I Had My Cousin Drop Off Our Keys In Our Apartment. & He Informed Me That ALL Of My Furniture Was THROWN Back Into The Apartment. Damaged & Just Tossed In. The Leasing Department Entered My Home WITHOUT My Permission!!! Not One Phone Call Or Email Before Or After They Entered My Home - They Had Damaged My Items & Just Threw Them Into My Apartment. Than When I Asked The Leasing Department To Arrange For Them To Remove It For Me Seem The Movers I Had Already Had Paid Left - They Said It'd Be 150$ PER Item. Now I Had To Arrange Movers Again & Pay Them AGAIN To Remove These Items - And Now Throw Out ALL My Furniture Because They Had Damaged My Property. Do Not Rent From There's People. It's Not Worth 2,500$ A Month.Leasing Department Names ; Victoria Callihan - Sara Young - BettyBefore & After Pictures
Leslie Tejeda: I moved to Lowell last year during Covid in 2020. I’m originally from Boston. Living in loft 27 for the first time was truly an amazing experience! The office made the moving process easy from the move in and move out date. I never had any complaints, but if I did, maintenance was a call or click away. They have a portal you can log onto to see what’s going on in the building and community itself. You can also pay your rent through the portal as well as put in an order for maintenance. The women in the office were always welcoming, happy and friendly!! They are also available for all your needs and will work through anything you may need. It was a great experience living there! I loved and will miss my loft! Thank you loft 27!!
Kim L: Great and beautiful apartments! Maintenance & leasing team are awesome! Kudos to Ryan Cote in maintenance department and Ketie Esitashvili in leasing. Always been super helpful and caring when in need of assistance:)
melia dad: Maintenance stole my bike and sons bike.
Jayson: Please, just don’t . You deserve better . At least for your money! It’s just bad . Like really bad . I want to save you , no one saved us ...
Amit Rajput: Fine print, lot's of additional charges.Pro- Bful building and location.- People who run it are very nice.Cons- Lot of gotcha, after the expensive rent.- Parking isn't included, separate.- They said heat and hot water are included but there is a very big catch there. The more you use, the higher your electric bill. First electric bill was $400, and it's only November.- Apartment facilities are mostly for vanity, the gym is meehhh, if you want to access yoga studio you need to ask key every time.
Alyssa Parker: It was such a joy living in this apartment complex for 2.5 years. They are so spacious and you really can't beat the high ceilings and insanely large windows. The staff is pretty great. The maintenance team responds quickly. My only complaints are that there was not a light in the master bedroom. And my husbands bike was stolen while it was locked up on the bike rack in the stairwell.
Vanessa Ramos: The apartment is beautiful and my daughter loves living here. The staff is always helpful and so nice here.
Christina Bigelow: We love it at Loft 27! The staff is so nice and helpful! Our apartment is gorgeous and spacious- we don’t want to live anywhere else.
Dana Wonder: I have lived at Loft 27 for four years. The apartments are spacious and well kept. The front office has always taken time to assist me, especially Ms. Ketie Esitashvili, who always goes above and beyond with a smile.
