I loved our Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA but when I moved to Massachusetts the first meeting I went to was very low key and did not seem to have a vibrant spiritual core. When my wife insisted we drive 40 minutes to Framingham, I thought it was too far and why were we going. Within the first hour, I knew I had found my new spiritual home. Framingham Friends Meeting is a vibrant community with a wide diversity of spiritual leadings. It is accepting of people from many different religious traditions. The core belief is that "There is that of God (or the Spirit or the Light) in all of us." That has profound implications both for how we treat each other in Meeting and our connection to the wider community

My children grew up in this Meeting surrounded by a loving community, committed to Quaker principles of equality, simplicity, justice, and deep spiritual seeking. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Quaker unprogrammed worship for themselves.
