Darren Cox: Pouring a pad for a shed, received a mixed load of garbage that dried immediately, they came to inspect concrete and told me what was needed to fix they’re mistake,claiming it wasn’t spread and screeted fast enough charged me for what was supposed to be peastone mix, showed up as 3/4 aggregate 1hr and 1/2 late and truck didn’t have full load of what was needed to complete after they told me what was needed, they’re response was it’s already there, we can gladly charge you again for another load, use a different co if you don’t want headaches

Kevin McCarthy: Do not, I repeat, do not deal with this concrete company. They are completely unprofessional, cannot maintain a schedule, delivere an order or accept responsibilities for third actions.

Cynthia Comtois: Completely unprofessional. We scheduled a 4:00pm delivery on Monday. We had a crew waiting and the cement truck had still not arrived by 5, so we called and were informed it would be 6:30pm or later. We asked why they didn't call and let us know, they said they were to busy taking calls to stop and let us know. Since it gets dark by 6 and there is not any exterior lighting, we rescheduled for the following Friday at 1:00. Again, with the crew present and no truck in sight, we called again. Dispatcher at MacLellan said they were not going to be able to make it until "maybe" by 5:30. The dispatcher was rude and not even the slightest apology for wasting our time and money was given. He cared nothing about the time we had taken off work to meet his delivery schedule, the money we had to pay for the crew who never was utilized, or our time. Called Kingston Ready mix and they showed up ON TIME the FIRST time!

Brendan Murray: We did a project this summer where we received concrete on several different dates and each time the concrete ended up a different color despite consistent man power/finish. When MacLellan was called and sent a rep out they said they didn't warranty the color, that we added water and that's why the color was off. Funny thing is that yes, we did add water on a 100 degree day, but the pour that day matched the color of the concrete done before. The pour done afterwards, on a 75 degree day, had no water added and was significantly different in color.The project owners were displeased with the result and made us replace the concrete at our cost. We used MacLellan again expecting a break on the price of the concrete and, more so, to match the replacement concrete with the portion left in place.They gave us no break on the cost of the concrete and again, the color is off on two different pours, no water added and same workforce installing both times. How is that even possible? We have used pretty much every local vendor over the years, on similar projects, and the concrete had always been 100% the same color. Even with MacLellan on past projects.Not sure what's happening with quality control over there but the consistency of MacLellan concrete is awful and after having used them multiple times over the 11 years we've been in business I am sad to say they can't be trusted to stand behind their product. Shame on us for thinking you would take care of your customers.Picture below is of two different pours completed, for the second time, due to color inconsistencies within the past few weeks - Color is still clearly off from one pour to the next weeks later.

Ordering was a breeze! The gentleman that was sent was very professional, on time and even helped my husband smooth out the concrete. He gave us some fantastic tips that as first timers doing this type of thing - we did not know. Very grateful for his help and knowledge!! We are even thinking about making a big patio now and will no doubt be calling Torromeo back!
