D’Youville Life & Wellness Community: what do users think?
Kevin Towler: D’youville took excellent care of an elderly loved one of mine. The staff was warm and attentive and the level of care was impeccable. I highly recommend this facility.
Susan Crawford-Fraser: I recently spent time visiting a friend at another facility and, while I knew D’Youville was great, I was again struck that there was no comparison in terms of the care, two way communication, and commitment to residents and their families. I had a new appreciation for the truly “compassionate nursing care” that my family member received for more than 3 years at D’Youville. The facility was always clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. When we had in-house visits, we could walk around inside the building or sit in the chapel for spiritual renewal. We enjoyed going outside to sit in the courtyard and to the front grounds to sit at the benches or tables near the fountain. We took many walks on the paved path around the pond and enjoyed seeing many species of birds and families of ducks.Communication with family was beyond expectations, especially during the Covid lockdown period. Families were provided information regarding the facility, staffing, upcoming events, and, of course, their family member. The nurse manager, nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, chaplain, social worker, recreational staff and the director gave great care to and showed my mother in law such true heartfelt caring for more than 3 years. We can’t thank everyone enough for helping us all transition my mother in law from her home to rehab to long term care and also helping to guide the family members through the adjustments.
Marianne Torres: I volunteered at dyouville and it was very rewarding. The staff was very caring and professional. The residence and staff became like family to me.
Connee O'Neill: The Saab Residence for Assisted Living on the campus of D'Youville in Lowell, MA has been home to our elderly cousin for two years now and we have been pleased beyond words with her care. The staff, from Executive Director to RN to Nursing Aides and Maintenance workers are not only friendly, professional and kind but very responsive to the needs of the residents. Recently my cousin had to be hospitalized and when she returned to the Saab, she received a royal welcome and loving attention. The nursing staff kept in close communication with me while she was away and was highly instrumental is transferring her back to the campus as soon as possible. The professionals who staff The Saab Residence are well educated in dealing with the needs and emotions of the older members of society. I complimented one of the directors on her understanding of my cousin and her idiosyncrasies; her tremendous kindness toward her and she responded, "I try to get in the minds of each of them."That's not just a profession; that's love.
Lianne DeAguila: The care and compassion that is offered at D'Youville is unsurpassed. My experience with the employees and care team was always a pleasure and a great experience. Thank you to everyone who was part of the journey!
Chris Towler: I’ve been in the healthcare industry for over ten years and have had the opportunity to work with many facilities. Part of my job is to provide information and recommendations to families who are seeking rehabilitation and long-term care. D’Youville stands above all. The professionalism and dedication in providing overall care is what sets them apart from everyone else. If I had a loved one who was in need of care, this is where I would want them.
Ryan McCarthy: Took excellent care of my grandfather. Staff was attentive and compassionate.
Ed McKersie: I want to thank the entire team at D'Youville for making my parent's experience better than I could have imagined. From the initial visit and follow up conversations, to getting my parents settled in their apartment and making connections for them with other residents, I have been impressed with the caring nature of everyone I've met. Thanks to Christy Nary and everyone at this great facility.
Lynne Teichert: As a nurse of 34 years , had a family member recently a patient there and to say the least I was not impressed with the care he received. Some staff may need a refresher in service on compassion .
Donna Belanger: I wish ten stars was an option. The warmhearted and compassionate care my dad received during his stay at The Saab Residence Assisted Living was not only impeccable, but so uniquely special. The devotion, kindness and affection provided was not only a positive for him, but a positive and relief for me and my family. They gave me the peace of mind and time to focus on many things I was unable to deal with prior to his stay. I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that the Saab brought out a part of my dad I didn't know existed. Bingo and music, dancing and gathering socially with peers...amazing. I commend the staff and give huge kudos to ALL. They are a team of exceptional people, one and all.
Ed Connolly: We have been very happy with the care and compassion that our Mother has received since moving into Saab residence. Everyone has been great and her days are filled with activities. She is happy and enjoying her new home.
Lisa Hall: We've been lucky enough to have both my Dad and Mom accepted to D'Youville for rehab services. Both were extremely well cared for and received a lot of attention. Family members were kept informed each step of the way. Thank you so much, D'Youville team members, for your exceptional care and service.
Brenda Demirjian: A wonderful community, a very genuine and caring staff. My Aunt was a resident for over 10 years and loved her home at D'Youville!
Christopher Popov: Amazing facility but they need to seriously update their payscales. Other LTC / Skilled Facilities paying over $40 an hour and up at the moment and D'Youville pays well below market value as well as having some of the lowest shift differentials in the region. After seeing constantly that you are short handed on all shifts for a long time, someone there just does not get it. Add inflation and the fact that everyones pay is rising as are costs, you need to get with the program to stay competitive, which you are far from.
Jessica Lee: During the pandemic our family needed help taking care of my 93 year old grandma in the last few months of her life and we were able to have her and her identical twin sister get together right before she passed away which was one of her last wishes with the help of the director Paula Capone who we couldn’t have made it happen without. My family will forever be thankful.
Barbara Murphy: I was very happy with the care for my mother while at Dyouville Senior Care.
Jim Sullivan: The best senior care in the area. Took great care of my mom and my aunt. The staff was awesome.
Jeffrey Hyde: Very well run with a real caring staff. Always exploring ways to improve facility atmosphere and comfort for patients and family. Dyouville has a genuine interest in helping families dealing with stressful senior issues.
kat: The rehab is the worst! My mom went in because she fell and broke her arm. She got worse not better the longer she was there.
Ashley Bealio: My grandmother was in and out of here for the last year of her life. The staff here is outstanding, Rhonda, Amanda, Melissa and Elma to name a top few. I really felt like they were family! My grandmother reached the point where she couldn’t move, and this team kept adjusting her, cleaning her, checking in on her every 20-30 min. Whenever we needed something they were on top of it. I am so thankful that this team is so passionate about their patients. On top of it the facility is super clean, didn’t smell bam (because you know those type of places do) and there were options of places to sit besides the room.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.Ashley Norma Bob and Vanessa
Joann Camilli: My dad was there approximately three weeks. We Found most of the staff to be pleasant. The room was filthy object just surfaced cleaned. For the money that we payed as well as other patients in there we were amazed how short on staff they were, which made it obvious they’re very unorganized. One thing they had going for them was my dad enjoyed the food. We are dealing with a legal matter against DYOUVILLE Manor so all in all i am very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

The Arbors Assisted Living at Dracut: what do users think?
Kerry Slattery: A month ago we moved our loved one into The Arbors at Dracut. Being in the healthcare field, and doing what I do, I have been in all of the ALF's in the Merrimack Valley. That being said, I knew that we had A LOT of great places to choose from. We needed somewhere close by, easy for us to get to, and visit more often. We toured a few places, and The Arbors was the perfect match. Not only is it beautiful, but it is always clean and well maintained. They had a first floor, studio apartment available, which met our needs perfectly. It is spacious and bright and overlooks the courtyard. 2 minutes door to door! AnneMarie Sousa made the process so easy and comfortable. I can not say enough about the Resident Ambassador program! A resident was asked to partner up with our loved one, tour her around the community, bring her to the dining room and have meals with her, show her where the activities are, etc. She has been absolutely amazing and truly a godsend for helping our loved one transition so easily. There is never a great time to discuss moving from your home of almost 50 years, but this was the right time, the right place, with the right people. Thank you!
Daniel Martin: My father recently became a resident of the Arbors and the entire staff has made the transition seamless. The care that is being provided and the communication from the staff is exceptional. We feel very comfortable knowing our father is being well taken care of and living in a safe environment.
Michele Vercellin: The Reflections Memory Care floor offers a loving and caring environment where the residents are actively engaged all day. My mom is happy and safe, her caretakers so patient and kind. The facility is lovely, meticulously clean, meals are impressive … overall a blessing.
Kelly O'Connell-Marcoux: Beautiful facility! The residents are treated like family. The administration does an unbelievable job! Annmarie goes above and beyond.
Tim Rudolph: I applaud the reviews, they are well thought out. The Arbors does a good job handling all the different "personalities".Mom, once in a while, expresses a "kind word ". She just doesn't listen to an explanation because "she knows everything ". And only hears what she wants. She just expressed that the other day. LOLEach resident is given a choice to enter in to any activity offered if they want, or not. Up to them. That's life, either be engaged in life or sit back and watch.
Lisa Ross: We recently moved my mother to the memory care at the Arbors of Dracut. We are extremely happy with the care my mother is getting. All of the staff treat the residents with kindness and respect. Anne Marie helped with so many details to make this a smooth transition. The facility is beautiful but more importantly, every staff member seems to go above and beyond for the residents and families.
Deirdre Morales: Extremely happy with the care and level of attention my loved one is receiving in memory care at The Arbors. The facility is beautiful and the apartments are spacious. More importantly though the staff are caring, attentive and communicative. They are really good at keeping residents engaged through their activities program. It can be really hard for a family to move a loved one into memory care but I’m so happy I found The Arbors!
Mary Beth B.: I am so grateful to the staff (and also the residents) at The Arbors Dracut for the warm welcome my father has received. Every day Dad is extremely well cared for and entertained! He is happy there and feels safe which is so important to us. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive to all his (and our) needs. They have made this transition easy and worry free.
Sam Sniezek: My grandfather recently moved into The Arbors and our family couldn’t be happier! From the first phone call to move in, our family was treated with love, compassion and understanding. It was a difficult decision but the Arbors team made it easier. Our grandfather left the home he has lived in for 50+ years and was uncertain about the transition. He has made friends, has more of a social life than me and raves about the food! We couldn’t be happier.
Doreen O.: I highly recommend the Arbors of Dracut for your loved one. My father moved there last fall and the level of care and compassion he has received from the staff has been wonderful. The staff is caring and friendly and the communication with families is excellent. My father is happy and knowing that he is well cared for gives our family peace of mind.
Tracy Adley: The Arbors at Dracut is highly recommended from my family for the loving care that they have provided to my mother. The entire staff is compassionate, caring, and attentive, beyond what we ever expected. The entire staff treat my mother like she is part of their family. The staff provides our family with peace of mind during what can be one of the hardest decisions one makes for their loved ones.
Donna Murray: It is wonderful to see such caring, energetic staff working so hard to be sure people are safe, well cared for and happy. This beautiful building houses so much joy and happiness one walks away knowing thier loved ones are safe and living life to the fullest.
Tracey M.: My mother is a resident of The Arbors and I couldn't be happier with the staff, they are understanding, caring and compassionate not only to the residents but the family as a whole....all the staff are helpful when a need arises...Thanks all of you!!
Julie Olivier: The Arbors at Dracut has become not only a wonderful home for our Mother but a warm, supportive place for our family. Mom has been at Arbors since it opened in 2017. We can attest to the amazing, top-level, highly qualified staff. Residents are treated with the utmost respect, dignity and love. The pharmacy next door delivers meds, urgent care is adjacent and we moved Mons primary care next door. Mom is not from the area and has made deep, special friendships. If you are seeking an inviting assisted living/memory care facility and dedicated staff, put the Arbors at Dracut at the top of your list.
George Mellonakos: Today, I visited the Arbors Assisted Living in Dracut, Massachusetts. First impressions are usually correct. What a terrific first impression I received from the Arbors. It is very well manicured on the outside and inside. It felt warm and comfortable in there, which is important for our loved ones and us. This new and pristine facility is a great home environment for the elderly, it should be considered without reservations.
Emily Catanzano: I had the opportunity to tour this gorgeous facility. The beautiful decor and friendly staff make you feel instantly at home. I would be happy if any of my loved ones were to become a resident, as I know they would feel comfortable and welcomed by everyone at The Arbors at Dracut.
Denise Trombly: The Arbors at Dracut feels like a home. It is a beautifully decorated and welcoming environment. The apartments are spacious and perfectly designed to include all the desired coveniences. The Arbors not only offers its residents a home but it also provides opportunity for activity and entertainment. I recently visited a good friend of my mother's and I was struck by the empathetic and respectful staff as well as the feeling of comfort and happiness exhibited by her. The Arbors at Dracut offers a well managed, safe, clean, and pleasant environment toits residents.
Mickey Cockrell: Maybe one of the hardest decisions a family or person has to make is choosing an assisted living place for yourself or a loved one. I am leaving this review in the hope that it helps someone make that decision. The Arbors At Dracut feels like home. From the moment you walk in the door it is like you entered your best friends living room. Beautiful, calming and inviting. Just off the living room is a small snack or lunch room. Fresh pastries and lemon water available for everyone. The decor is well chosen from the furniture to the art. The Arbors has many meeting or sitting places. Small rooms or opens spaces for talking, playing games, reading or just an offer of a change of scenery. The private courtyard is an added bonus to spend time outside. I have a good friend who just moved in and her smile sealed the deal. Her apartment is beautiful and she is happy. Everyone knows her name and the staff is exemplary. If you are looking for an environment that feels more like a hotel then look no further. The Arbors at Dracut is HOME SWEET HOME!
Evan Coravos: Our Dad is a recent resident of the Arbors Assisted Living in Dracut. The facility is truly terrific and top-notch! The entry process was very easy and well organized. The Arbors is very clean. The staff is very attentive and constantly takes the time to get to know the residents. I have peace of mind knowing my Dad is happy and well cared for. Highly recommended!
Susan McGrath: The Arbors at Dracut has provided a great living environment for my aunt and uncle. As the aging process can be somewhat unkind, I have found that The Arbors knows how to treat their residents with respect and dignity. Jonathan and Kellie have handled all our requests professionally and with compassion. They respond quickly and have been open to any suggestions that we bring to the table. They have also taken time to understand the likes, dislikes and personality of my family members, which has tremendously helped my aunt and uncle through any of their own personal adjustments and challenges. The Arbors at Dracut has proven to be top notch and it is a pleasure to know that my aunt and uncle are part of their community.Susan McGrath
Joelle Nason: My mother has been living at the Arbors for almost a year. As someone who visits every day, it is comforting to see the compassion the aids have. To see them smile and laugh with the residents, and know it is genuine, gives me immeasurable peace of mind. The aids care for the residents as they would their own parents.

Benchmark Senior Living at Chelmsford Crossings: what do users think?
Jeffrey Zwearcan: I arrived at Benchmark four months ago after my previous assisted-living housing could not accommodate My needs. when I contacted Sarah at Benchmark she assisted me with a smooth transition. you can’t go wrong when the food , staff and service is good. And The medical staff Makes Sure my personal needs are taken care of. As for the activities! there is a variety of card Games,Exercise classes, movies, and entertainment just mentioned a few. and the best thing about it is that I made friends here. and I’m happy :-)
Diane Lefebvre: Wonderful Senior living center with friendly, helpful, caring staff, at all levels, the nurses, aids, receptionists, manager and even the housekeeping staff. Mom loves the food. If you want a place where you don’t have to worry about your loved one, Chelmsford Crossing is the place for you.
Tricia Kelly: I have been looking for an assisted living for a few months as a friend I care about was in desperate need of changing his living situation of isolation, since his wife had moved into a nursing home. I looked into 8 different places. Elder services recommended Chelmsford Crossings, she has friends and former co-workers employed by them. I took her recommendation very seriously and immediately called got all the information and presented it to my friend. He agreed to see it. He moved in September 1st. He’s getting more exercise walking to meals than he has in 2 years! He’s meeting wonderful people! He’s getting out a few times a week running errands with other residents. Playing games, enjoying music, the activities are all accommodating. He’s very independent and young with disabilities. At 68 years old and legally blind he’s now living his best life! I can’t thank Chelmsford Crossings enough! They really have changed this man’s life for the better in more ways than I can express. Assisted living isn’t just for the elderly with major health issues.
Tom Walker: Benchmark Chelmsford Crossing has been a wonderful facility for my mother for over 3 years. The staff is pleasant, the facility is very clean and the available activities keep her engaged and active with other residents. I enjoy speaking with Cathy and Nancy when I arrive and check in, they are very welcoming to visitors. Can’t say enough good things hopefully this message and a Thank You to everyone will let the staff know they are appreciated for all they do!
Don Desfosse: From the moment I called in a bit of a panic because we needed to find a good, safe spot for my mom to call home and fast, everything has been phenomenal at Chelmsford Crossings. Sarah answered all of my questions including ones I hadn't thought to ask, offered to give mom and our family a tour, and reassured me that everything was going to be OK. Move in day could not have gone more smoothly, my mom was welcomed like she just came home to family, and my mom's, and our family's, experience every day since has proven that we found the right place. The whole team is kind, supportive and friendly. She's safe, happy, well-fed (the food is excellent!), and well cared for. We had family friends that had been here and loved it, but it's exponentially more important and real when it's a member of your own family. Bottom line -- Benchmark at Chelmsford Crossings is excellent!
Bridget Lynng9: Actually the first post was a mistake but this place has the best RCD Cathy who is so engaging and encouraging that is why residents enjoy the work that the RCAs do because it’s being cordinated by Cathy I would recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved one to try Chelmsford crossing you won’t regret it’s worth the try
Bill Burton: Benchmark Senior Living at Chelmsford Crossings is a place I would recommend to any Family members and Friends. It is so well run with the best staff members from top to bottom. All the residents are so welltaken care of anyone would feel so at piece with themselves if their Love-one’s were here.I’ve been researching Senior Living facilities and found Benchmarks standards are among the best you’ll find anywhere. The living conditions, the great meal selections,The structured activities and most importantly the Stuff.I give Benchmark Senior Living at Chelmsford Crossings FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Bill B.Billerica, Ma.
Dawn Bygrave: If you are looking for a place for your loved ones, Chelmsford Crossing, Chelmsford is the place to live. At this community which I have been working for a year; the nursing staff is simply the best . They are not too big to wrap with a RCA or resident. The teamwork is just the best! Nurses are not to big to make a bed , give a shower or even do a load of laundry. The never watch the clock to go home , the work must be done. Without shortcuts .The dining staff , they go all out to make sure each resident request is met, satisfying the different tastebuds. On the other hand , maintenance is always ready to make sure everything works .Housekeeping works diligently to make sure the building is spotless. It’s without a doubt that the first impression is a lasting impression at CX. Upon entering the front door, there is always a friendly face to greet you.Informative and inviting!! Chelmsford Crossing is the place for your loved ones to be. !!God bless!!
Katelyn Fawcett: Excellent staff, well run facility. They definitely put the residents needs as a top priority. I would highly recommend this ALF to anyone looking to secure a safe and comfortable home for a loved one. Lots of activities and good food!
Stacey Mccluskey: Great place for seniors
sandra cox: I haven't been to this facility yet though I have been to one of theirs in brookfield ct. Very nice, good food, liked their social and cultural offerings

Giving Tree Senior Living: what do users think?
Amanda T: My mother was here for about 8 months and it was a nightmare almost immediately. She has Alzheimer’s and they are NOT fit to take care of memory care residents. The staff was often just sitting, yet I would walk into my mom’s room and there would be a soiled Depends on the floor, dirty laundry shoved in corners of the room, and my mom visibly distraught. She was in early stages when we chose this place and by the time we broke the “lease” she had declined so much. I’m assuming from the negligence and isolation. The administration did not care. Plain and simple. There’s no other way to put it. The things we witnessed and what my mom went through was awful. We ended up calling the local Ombudsman. Please don’t put your loved one in the care of this place. We were fooled by the great reviews at the beginning too. It’s criminal.
Jennifer Miller: If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The facility looks great, but the "care team" and mgmt are beyond negligent. We chose this facility for my mom about 8 mos ago when her Alzheimer's took a sudden turn for the worse. We've given the staff here every chance to rise to the occasion and provide even basic care. And unfortunately, it has gotten progressively worse. She has had multiple UTI's in those 8 months due to their lack of basic care & hygiene. I have found other residents lying on the floor upon arriving and had to alert staff. The list could go on & on. The point is: if you care about your loved one, don't consider this place.
Joseph Ferris: I toured the facility twice, once on my own and once with my son. I’m attempting a way to find a way to place my mom there. Financially it is challenging, but I’m hoping to find a way. My Mom is almost 96 and can benefit from being in a community. The staff has been extremely helpful from the start. They have answered my many questions. The facility appears to be top notch. Onward and upward!
Harris Punjabi: I have visited similar places like this before. This is the best I have ever seen. Nice, clean, safe, best atmosphere.
Teju Punjabi: This place looks amazing! Clean and inviting. Prices are reasonable for the high quality. Highly recommend!
Anil Punjabi: Reviewed for my mother. Great facility, very accessible, and safe area. Highly recommend!
Dracut Place: Very friendly staff, great food!
Todd Bleeker: Beautiful community! The staff was very friendly.. They answered our questions and were very attentive to my dad's wishes and needs. They were very patient and kind throughout the tour.

The Residence at Freeman Lake: what do users think?
Thomas Boyle: Had a loved one here, was very impressed. Benny the food service director was great with all the special needs for her. Thank you.
Terry Harris: In general, a facility with very caring people that work there. They did a great job during COVID and kept most residents healthy and engaged. Unfortunately, it is getting quite pricey and there is some 'nickel and dimeing' for added on basic services.
Nicole Hackett: Freeman Staff impressed us from the first day! We had pulled in by accident at first looking for another community which we had an appointment nearby. But noticed how beautiful it was right away. After we went to our previously scheduled appointment we went back and tried calling. My phone disconnected the call, and I was not expecting to get a tour so last minute anyways. They called us back immediately to follow up. Even though we did not have an appointment Stephanie welcomed us with open arms for a tour. They even had warm freshly baked cookies waiting for us after the tour.We knew that day Freeman Lake was the right fit for our Father. The place is stunning inside and out! Our experience surpassed our expectations. We cannot thank all the staff enough for the warm welcome they showed our Father. Even though his stay was sadly cut short due to his passing we highly recommend this community!
Linda Chase: Our loved one has been in Brookdale for almost 3 weeks. The staff is very caring and accommodating. Shane Thomas the Sales & Marketing Director was amazing during the admittance process. We had a short window to make a decision and she was responsive and informative. I'm in the community often, both Shane and the Director are present and engage with the residents. During the holidays they held many activities. It's not always perfect, but I feel confident that we selected the right community.
