Zoe Shear: I would HIGHLY recommend Pelham Saddlery for online purchases!!! I recently purchased a gorgeous Smith Worthington saddle on consignment from Pelham. It shipped SO fast and was perfectly packaged! My saddle fitter couldn't believe the saddle was used, it was in such lovely condition. Pelham called me to check in during my trial to make sure everything was perfect - and it was. I decided to keep the saddle.As soon as I got it back from re-flocking by my fitter, "disaster" struck when my 3 year old colt managed to buck off the billets while lunging! When I called Pelham, the first thing they did was make sure I was OK and not on the horse when it happened. Then, Pam listened to my story and offered to have the saddle repaired by my fitter!!! It was amazing not to have to deal with the back-and-forth of shipping or having to deal with unknowns. As soon as I had a receipt for the repair, I was promptly refunded.Customer service doesn't get better than this folks. This is why it pays to buy from a trusted business instead of some random person online...Pelham knows saddles, and cares about getting it right for both the horse and rider. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. Thank you SO MUCH!!!!!!

Deb Fate-Mental: So. Many. Saddles. Seriously, though, excellent customer service. Have both bought and sold saddles through Pelham. They have lots of stock. Check on the website before you go & take a list with the saddle numbers with you. Great trial policy on the used saddles. Do check the store hours & plan ahead so you'll have time to take any saddles back if you're not keeping them.

The staff were sniffy when I asked about help with being sized for tall boots. There were 3 staff members with time on their hands. They were extra sniffy when I asked about dress boots, for dressage. Message received. I went to a different shop, dressage boots acquired, plus some happy to help me service.

Instead they were snooty and also pretty unlowledgable about products and even how to use the cash register. Told me that it was basically my fault when a product of theirs had clearly broken of its own accord, when I tried to return/ exchange it. Don’t waste your time and go to SmartPak instead.

So I know nothing at all and went here looking for things her trainer said I should get. They made sure that she got what she needed and that it all fit properly.
