Lowell's Boat Shop: what do users think?
daryl daigneault: It is very awesome place. Very cool.Lots of history.
Chris hartzell: If you love history and/or boats this is a must visit. Evan was very knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. It was a really cool experience to learn about how they made the boats and the craftsmanship is incredible. They also some of the best values in boats, especially when you consider they are handcrafted with wood, and look much cooler than fiberglass. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area. Thanks, Evan!
Ken Rolt: If you have any interest in wooden boats, especially small work boats, row boats and sail boats, this place is awesome. It's very old, it's presented in very unvarnished form, the floors are not flat especially the ones on the river level (on stone), and best of all --- it's a working museum. Boats are still built and repaired there. I am taking a boat building class and it's excellent both from the content and from the location & history. If you expect carpeting, A/C, and a sterile overall presentation --- this is not for you. If you want to smell the wood and bathe in the ambience, visit Lowell's.
Eleanor Brugger: Amazing. Thank you John for the tour and history of the shop.
Clinton Kershaw: Attended a wedding party rehearsal dinner for 50 here. The location is perfect and beautiful. The food was great. The staff is the best. When you first look at it you will have your doubts but trust me they pull off a fantastic event. And you get to support a boat shop that has been building boats for 250 years.
Peter Alonso: Great visit, very informative. Many boats actively been restored or built from scratch.
Michael: Awesome boat shop with a current boat building program for the next generation
Edward Sembor: If you love boats, history, and working with your hands, Lowell's Boat Shop is a place you cannot miss for an incredible experience of building a small wooden boat. Grahm McCay and his crew are the best!

Friendship of Salem: what do users think?
Abigail Epplett: Owned and operated by the National Park Service through Salem Maritime National Historic Site, this beautiful replica tall ship has a punny name and interesting history. The boat is only open to the public when park rangers are available to oversee the space, so plan accordingly.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Marco GPS: Você deve conhecer onde a América começou como eles dizem onde a América deu Certo.
Amy Terranova: IT’S A HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION OF A MERCHANT SHIP FROM 1800 it’s very cool
Rachelle Brown: Nice little spot of history. You can almost imagine during that time a busy port filled with goods pouring into Salem. Nice photo opportunity.
Maurice Peploski: It is free to board, and the guides there are very willing to answer questions about the ship's equipment and history. You can't go below deck, however
Polish Dog Mom: It was a great photo opportunity. There was also a nice beach area to sit and relax next to it. There were many small seashells to collect and boats to see. There is a lot of space to walk along the water, sit and relax, look at the water and take in the area.Enjoy the scenery and live in the moment.
Shark Linn Media: I loved seeing it but one person told me they no longer open it to the public anymore, but google said it was supposed to be open at the time I was there but it was not
Dana Stanley: Go here everyday. Love it
Sacred Harbor Photography (Daniela): Great place for adventures and photos! One of my couples did their first look with the Friendship in the background, and it was gorgeous!
Andrew Muttiah: A very historic ship with a lot behinds its name. A must visit if in Salem. Beatifully crafted ship with detailed craftmanship.
Татьяна Сушальская: Глядя на бухту с историческим кораблем, легко представить себя в 18 веке и даже раньше среди европейских переселенцев, приехавших в Америку в надежде начать новую жизнь.
MikeyGrillo Instagram: Got some really nice sunset pics here wish i could of seen her at full sail! For more find me on instagram 🧙‍♀️💜🎃👍
Ilreta Bloodfeather: Website said open until 5pm and got there a little after 4 to fi d out they closed at 4pm instead.
Rouven Tutzauer: Extremly nice persones are working there. Was really pleasant to visit this place wih my 1.5 year old daughter !
Erika Manning: I don't want to leave a bad rating but wanted to state the ship is currently in Gloucester for repairs and there is no estimation on when it will be completed. There is nothing at the location giving this information
Stef Carle: Great historic Ship to visit
Jerry Hollingsworth: Too bad you can't go below deck. It's a great historic landmark of salem, the best thing in Salem besides the cemetery. Be sure to take picture's.
Matthew Klein: While you are only able to go on the top of the ship, you can walk around and see the historic ship. Only takes 10 minutes to see but it's still pretty interesting.
