Rehan Syed: Everything’s inside is quality material. From good decks to wheels to everything in between. The only problem is that there isn’t a cheap alternative to almost everything there. The decks cost upwards of $90 and there isn’t anything cheaper.

Aani Haan: The team here was very patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Allowed me to really take my time and get a feel for each boot. Excellent selection! There’s really no way I would have gotten a skate that fit this well ordering online and every skate I was considering fit terribly, haha! I’m so so happy to have this shop nearby.
Anonymous: Only so so…With being the only roller skating store in the area, this store is mediocre at best, disappointingly so. It is small and crammed full of items, which does not lead to the most comfortable shopping experience. Their item selection is “okay,” but rather limited and could be a lot better, especially with being the only skate shopin town. The gentleman’s customer service was rather impatient and made me feel a bother to him. It was not a really welcoming atmosphere. Trying on skates was not a pleasant experience, and their return policy is poor. They also hardly have any sales or discounts.If you need a skate part quick, need to know your size, or want to see a specific item in person, this store is good. Otherwise, there are many better online options out there, especially if you are looking for item variety, value, good customer service, and a generous and stress free return policy.

Izebel: Super patient and helpful staff. Helped me find the best skates for my budget and didn't mind that I tried on pair after pair after pair. Staff were really good about answering questions and explaining things in a beginner friendly way. Not condescending at all. The skates I bought were exactly my budget, and not what I thought I was going to buy after reading lots on online reviews. Definitely worth the drive. Will be shopping here when I'm ready to upgrade.

Abby: I am totally new to skating and just joined a roller derby team so me and some others on the team all went down to get gear for the season! First, the service here is amazing! They helped me pick out each piece of gear I needed one by one and answered all my questions without talking down to me or acting annoyed. I am very picky about footwear and expected it to take a long time to find a good pair of skates, but I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up buying the first pair of skates I tried on! The employee listened to my concerns regarding my wide feet with bunions and made a great recommendation on the first go. My only complaint would be it is a bit expensive, but all the products they carry are quality and I feel totally confident the gear I purchased here will last and keep me safe. Still it would be nice if they carried some budget brands.
Heather Eulian: If I could give ten stars I would. The people here are so knowledgeable and so helpful. Every online purchase I’ve made has been super smooth. As someone starting roller derby going from artistic skating they just were so helpful and kind even though they probably answer the same questions from newbies a million times. I won’t go anywhere else for skating stuff because they are just awesome and they also have very fair prices on everything including shipping. As a small business owner myself I know how tough it is to run a business and keep prices low. They are just fabulous and I highly recommend them for any and all your skating needs ❤️

Lisa Atwood-guitare: I drove to the bruised boutique from Central Mass to check out some outdoor wheels for my quads. Being a rink skater my whole life, I needed some info on the best outdoor wheels. I was not disappointed with my visit!! The woman that helped me find the right wheels and bearings was super nice and knowledgeable! They even installed my purchase onto my skates for me. I will definitely be returning fie any skating needs. BTW they carry much more than just skates and hardware !

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - I asked hundreds of questions and they happily answered them all. Great experience and I couldn’t be happier with my skates.

Andrew O'Barton: I went to Eastern Border a few weeks ago with my girlfriend to get some snowboard gear for the upcoming season. We were greeted instantly by Brian, who was more than helpful during our whole visit. I explained to him we were new to the sport and did not want/need the most expensive equipment. He hooked it up with a lot of discounts (since we were buying in bulk) and made sure we took a look at last season's gear to save money. I received some of the best service of my short 28 year old life...I'd gladly go back anytime, although I hope I don't need to...Brian even offered to help with our bindings as well. Have I mentioned how cool the shop is? Highly recommend - would not go anywhere else for gear or snowboard insight.
s. raelynne becerra: Very unpleasant shopping experience. Sales person totally not interested in providing even the bare minimum of assistance, actually kind of put off that we asked questions. Loudly complaining about wanting to leave work but "too many people in here." There were 3 customers total in the shop. Definitely will not be back.
Akbar Marsden: So much for "shop small businesses". Staff was unable or simply unwilling to offer any information on the products they sold. Minimal to non-existent selection of skate gear, and a strong "i don't want to be here" vibe from the staff. Honestly, I've had better experiences at a poser shop like Zumiez, which is pretty pathetic.

Adam Gilmer: The absolute best skateboard/ snowboard shop in New England. Owned and run by actual skaters that love skateboarding. I feel so fortunate to have had this shop in my area for so long. These guys never try to upsell you on anything to make a sale. They are always interested in getting the customers what they need and have them leave happy. Don’t buy from some big corporation, this place has everything you need.
Unity__ (Unity__): Got a burton descendant from here just before snow season started. It was extremely easy to purchase, the staff were extremely friendly, if i could remember his name i would give a shoutout here, but other than that, it was good. prices are low-average huge selection of skateboards, completes and parts, bike parts, snowboards, bindings boots shoes, and its just an overall nice place to be.

Gilda Ciccone: Abby was super kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She was incredibly sweet to my 4 year old who asked her no less than 6 billion questions. She took the time to build the ideal skateboard for my son and get to know his likes, dislikes, and personal style. He ended up loving the entire set up. If she wasn't the manager, I'd call her manager and tell them how fantastic she was. Best customer service, hands down.

Jay Milly978: Word of advice to anybody who goes to this store trying to return anything without a receipt just prepare yourself because they are going to treat you like you’re a thief and have every employee in the store staring at you like you’ve done something wrong when the majority of the time you won’t have a receipt for a gift but there’s a bunch of small minded kids working in that store that clearly have no idea what they’re doing or how to treat customers. I buy clothes there all the time but because of that experience I will never spend another dollar at this specific Zummiez.

I like the Hawaiian shirts specifically. It has longboards and skateboards, as well as parts you may need for it. Super friendly staff, always have a good time when I walk into the store!

Sophia Suarez: I went to the mall with my friends to go find a shirt i wanted and my friends were just following me around looking at the stuff. My friend had stood on some clothing stand or something and the employee was like you can’t stand in there. My friend got off with no problem and i had found my shirt. They had sat down in two chairs while i was still looking and he yelled at all of us that if we’re not buying anything then to leave. Meanwhile they were literally not even doing their job or trying to help us out. The two employees just watched us behind the counter while talking and it made us all really uncomfortable so we left. Anyways i’ve never had a problem with the zumiez but it’s was a guy with long brown hair and a girl with a spitfire beanie and black hair.
