Sport Loft: what do users think?
Jesse Heines: Very friendly staff.
Andrew Zoller: Incredible service- very homey and welcoming. Good waxing for boards and skis.
David Atlas: Dylan and the team there are great. Super personable and great at what they do. I bring all my skis to them for service throughout the season.
Luke Sullivan: Owners are great people
Nicholas Payiatis: Best ski shop in the greater Boston area! They were super helpful and answered all my questions when buying a new pair of skis. Shoutout to Jess and Dillion(hopefully names are spelled right) for all the help!
kris gillis: Scrambled to find a board last second for my son they went the extra mile
Marloes R: This place is a gem. Our previous regular place that is closer to home in Arlington surprisingly (to me) closed and we were in a bit of a panic to find last-minute rentals. I went here on a whim, they had appointments, they said they still had supplies and it was easy to make and find online appointments. We were welcomed by Jessica, a quick fitting, kids' sizes were still available, and easy online registration, the shop was spotless and well-organized, lots of good brand stuff for sale as well. It's a bit of a drive from Arlington, but this was the most pleasant and personal shopping / rental experience I've had for winter gear in a long time.I would recommend anyone in the Greater Boston area to try them out. It is a small shop and they are very customer focused with great choice and no huge crowds.
M.J. Lanum: We’ve been renting my son’s snowboards from this shop for the past three winters because they are the best deal on brand-name equipment around. (Renting from the local resorts is far more expensive; we’ve checked.)Yesterday, Jessica was super helpful in finding the perfect gear, even though we were cutting it pretty close to the start of the season. Thank you so much!
Emilie Phaff: Sport loft was absolutely amazing today. They were able to remount bindings and adjust both my childrens track system skis in under an hour. The gentleman doing the adjustments was all smiles. Another man who was organizing a shipment of ski poles was incredibly patient and kind as my wild child 2 year old ran all over the store touching everything. He was also very knowledgeable about the different mountains in the area and what would be best for the kids. I usually have our adjustments done at the mountain but I am very glad we discovered the sport loft.
Stephanie Torta: Awesome! Very helpful.
Nikki Flores: great service. I had my skis waxed and sharpened. ready the next day
Alex Langston: Great place for cross country skis

RJ Bradley's Ski & Bike: what do users think?
Sheryl Belley: Always great service and repairs done extremely fast
S: Wow, Man working there is extremely rude, I am assuming he is the owner. Older man who was trying to push the rental over purchase. My child thought the boots he brought out were too tight and he refused to get another pair to try. Apparently he was offended she said they didn’t fit and he told me knew what he was doing. Well, anyone who skis knows that some boots fit better than others. Never had such awful customer service at a ski shop before. There are plenty of places in the area with a better selection that will treat you with respect. Go to Sport Loft in Acton, or Ski Summit in Framingham. They offer the same Bretton Woods deal, a better selection of gear, and quality customer service.
Zark Strasburger: The best boot fitting and gear recommendations, if you are willing to wait. RJ Bradley's is one of a tiny number of ski boot sellers nationally that do anatomical fitting. They 3D scan your feet and find the right boot to match and then custom fit it to YOUR foot. After 25 years away from skiing RJ Bradley's got me set up to ski again and ski better than in my teens and twenties. I also really appreciate the thoughtfulness of their ski recommendations. I got advice that steered me to a better solution for an all mountain ski with great potential in the trees and bumbs, which was what I was hoping to grow into. 25 days of skiing later and I am still very happy. Bring on the powder. Thank you! I love my Nordica Enforcer 100s and Head Formula RS 120s. If you are new to the shop, make sure you book an appointment. They are a small shop and the wait can be a while.
Kristine Mitchell: I had an amazing experience getting fitted for ski boots with Kara. I had recently broke my foot and she was very understanding and took so much time with me. We tried on a few boots and she quickly figured out exactly what I needed. The next pair was PERFECT! She also recommended an insole for my plantar fasciitis and gel pads for my shins to help prevent boot bang. Well, after skiing hard for a full week in Utah, I want to say that I had ZERO pain!!!! Usually I get horrible boot bang- this time zero. Usually my heels ache from my plantar fasciitis - this time zero. And I was so worried about my broken foot - and zero pain. And I skied hard - open to close every day. I am soo happy with the service I had from Kara at RJ Bradley. I would recommend anyone who needs a proper boot fitting to go to her!And just to make a good thing better, Kara recommended that I just rent them for the season and then if I like them I can buy them at the end of the season. That was a great suggestion. I love them and am definitely buying them!!
Julia Magnusson: Very knowledgeable staff/owner, great friendly service.
Gwe at: Pretty disappointed. I knew which ski (AT) boots I wanted and they had them in the store. However, they would not even let me try them on, insisting that I needed to make a 60 minute appt at another time, so they could measure my feet and tell me what boots to try - but I already knew which I wanted to try. What a waste of an hour driving out there and back.Suggestion to management: if you want to sell boots, let people who know what they want try them on!
sandy hinckley: RJ Bradley’s are such a pleasure to rent seasonal kids skis and boots. They went above and beyond to get a great re- fit mid season which made all the difference for my sons ski enjoyment.
Kate A: Excellent services! The staff are very friendly, helpful and really acknowledgeable!
Anne Everly: I leased skis and boots for my kids from them and had a great experience. Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Had to bring back skis for a different size and they swapped them out, no muss no fuss. Highly recommend.
Patty Sullivan: Today I stopped by RJ Bradley's to get some advice about my ski boot fit. The woman who helped me (I didn't get her name!) was so very knowledgeable and spent alot of time with me. My feet and lower legs were analyzed, and based on that she found me a couple of pairs of boots that work with my narrower foot. She knew the subtle differences between them and I left with great fitting boots. They adjusted my skis at the same time. Full service. So glad I didn't try to guess what would be good for me and buy online.
Cynthia McMahon King: Service and advice very helpful. Reasonable wait time for a ski tune up
James Tule: I have shopped here for years. They have great tuning and setup. Staff is very knowledgeable and does not try to over sell you on items. Great variety as well.
Cheryl Mullan: I needed bindings adjusted. My usual shop was unavailable due to a move, REI had a 2 week turn around. I called RJ Bradley and the young man working said, sure bring them in and I can do while you wait. Friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go again.
Tim Seguin: I was totally impressed with my experience. The expertise and time spent in fitting my boots was phenomenal.
Nate Fischer: Best place to get boots by far. The owner himself custom fitted my foot and got me boots that feel so comfy to ski in. The whole staff are super friendly awesome people that take care of you. He also threw 50% off on skis just because they were last years model. These people are the best and have the best equipment.
David Campbell: Friendly knowledgeable and accommodating staff an overall good experience thank you
Derry-Lee Soddy: Great service as always!
Marcus Johnson: RJ. Bradleys is a great shop with a good selection and really good staff. They know bikes, skis and boots and are always helpful. We have always had great experiences there and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Jedidiah Provost: Really nice people
Ryan Gath: Great all around shop. I own all types of bikes and the team at RJs can always take care of it all
T Scal: I enjoyed the services I was provided, The feedback was very helpful. I would recommend using this business! PS:T-Dawg got da word❤❤❤💯

Sport Loft Ski Shop: what do users think?
william gousios: When you're a novice skier looking to rent just a pair of adult size 12 ski boots for a trip you have next week, very few places have what you need.Thankfully, sportloft was able to help me out.Sport loft is one of the few shops around that rents equipment to adults. I was able to easily set an appointment online, walk in, get fitted, and walk out with boot rentals for the whole season in under an hour.Kyle was a fantastic help who was able to get me sized properly, and make sure my setup was dialed in. He was super friendly, and helped me pick out a helmet to buy as well.
Melissa Leafe: The staff at the Amherst store were the most friendly and helpful people. They helped fit and adjust my daughter's skis and boots. I would highly recommend them. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will definitely be going back again in the future.
Jennifer Conroy: Not worth doing business here. You call and set up a rental and when you arrive, there is no record of it and basically are told you're a liar.
April Weismann: My son's binding broke on a Sunday and needed new ones by Tuesday. Sport Loft turned around the job in a few hours. Great service!
Jeremy Gagne: Ty so much for your assistance with my cross country ski equipment! I'll be back!
Jeremy Abbott: I decided to buy my skis here mostly based upon the favorable Google reviews. I had a great experience and agree with their high rating. They took great care of me and I would highly recommend this place to others. Special thanks to Janet for helping me.
Katelin Leach: Rude. Called to ask if they allow flyers in their business for charity events and the guy hung up on me.
kevin kalhori: Great service! They didn't have the correct size glove I was looking for in shop and instead of going online to buy one for more money they ordered it from their other store. I'm a customer that typically doesn't shop in stores but I will use this shop more often. Thanks for the help!
jaystraw: Absolutely a hidden gem. Went in looking for some boots, and Dylan was a tremendous help. Did not try to upsell me, and actually ended up pulling a 2 year old pair of boots from the basement that were originally $399 and I bought for $239. They are the best ski boots I’ve ever owned. All the guys working that morning were great, and I’d go back any time.
Dan Sutphin: Great shop.
Melissa Austin: Fast service and plenty to choose from
Erwin Reijgers: Super fast turnaround for ski tune-up.
J Cote: I had my snowboard tuned up here and everything turned out as expected, also had a nice conversation with the staff, recommend for sure.

Buchika's Ski & Bike: what do users think?
Kai Singh: Great service , friendly people. They always go above and beyond , been bringing my bike here for a couple years now to get serviced and they always do an A-1 job. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trusted place with great service.
Melissa Madden: After having another bike shop tell me they couldn’t put wider tires on my bike, I came here and talked to Randy about it. Not only was he able to put wider tires on it but also tuned it up for a fair price. Randy listened to my needs and definitely found a way to accommodate them! I will definitely be back.
Tony García: As a frequent cyclist, I've had the opportunity to visit many different bike shops, but Buchika's Bike is by far the best in the area. This shop has an impressive selection of bikes and accessories, but what really sets them apart is their dedication to customer service and maintenance.Every time I've visited Buchika's Bike, I've been greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who are passionate about cycling. They take the time to understand my needs and preferences, and provide valuable recommendations based on their expertise. I've never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase, and I always leave the shop feeling informed and satisfied with my choices. In addition to their excellent customer service, Buchika's Bike also offers top-notch maintenance services. Whether I need a simple tune-up or more complex repairs, their team of skilled mechanics always gets the job done quickly and efficiently. They use high-quality parts and materials, and I've never had any issues with the work they've done on my bikes. What's more, Buchika's Bike also offers a variety of classes and events, which is a nice bonus. They host group rides, workshops, and other events throughout the year, which is a great way to connect with other cyclists in the community.
Robert Raimondi: Have purchased numerous ski equipment throughout the years. Just recently purchased a high end ski boot, Nordica Speed Machine 130. Had a problem with right side liner and had new liners within a week. Mike K. is incredible, he has been so knowledgeable and helpful throughout all my purchases and warrantee issues. Love this shop. Among the best!!
Nolan Cornell: Stopped in to shop for skis. They were extremely helpful, and they didn't pressure me to buy anything. In fact, they suggested I go to a mountain and demo some skis, look elsewhere for a ski they didn't have in the right length for me, etc. Will definitely go again.
Jeff Starr: Updated Review:Dave called me promptly and resolved my issue with the pricing change. I was happy with that resolution. He also suggested I bring the bike back in to have my other issues checked out. Very appreciated.Original Review:Just picked up my Stumpjumper last night in Salem after having a basic service tune up done and 2 new tires installed. I dropped it off last week and was given a work order for $219, and told that if the price was going to change they would call me. I picked up the bike last night and the price was $299 - an additional $40/tire install fee. I have no idea if that's a fair price or not, but they didn't know this when I dropped it off??Additionally, when I went to take off the front tire to put the bike in my car I noticed the front thru axle was way over tightened - at least a full quarter turn past where I had previously been tightening it. It took a lot of force to get it untightened. Also, for some reason my dropper post now rattles (which it didn't before). I went back into the shop, and was basically told these issues were normal. I probably should have just gone to a shop that focuses only on bikes.
Mike Holdt: A coworker and avid skier recommended Buchika's to me. I went this weekend and was helped by Keegan. He was professional and quickly dialed in to my needs to outfit me with new ski boots, skis, bindings, and poles. His coworker helped my wife get set up with new skis and bindings and was just as professional. After this great experience we will definitely be repeat customers.
Ryan Nichols: We got our new skis and bindings mounted at Buchika's in Salem. Not only are they basically the lowest price around, but they turned it around extremely fast. We (unfortunately) didn't buy the skis here but we will next time. The results were great and exactly what we paid for. The store has an excellent selection of skis and equipment, including boots, poles, jackets, gloves etc. They also have seasonal rentals for kids so you don't have to buy brand new equipment every season for those quickly growing kids!
dennis zsolnay: Great snowboard bikes ski stuff etc worth a trip
Ma c: Great service and great deals!
Marcia Lazo: I had been frustrated with the store in Nashua because I was sold crossbars to use with my old Thule Hullavator and they did not work. That said, the staff did their very best to try to make it work and then suggested that I go to the store in Salem to ask for Jeff. I went there today and they made everything right, replacing the bars with ones that work easily with what I already own, and they took care of putting them on and refunded me the difference in cost. Fantastic service. They have earned my business and I will go back to them when I am ready to buy an E bike
Michael Baron: My high end bike had a serious problem 3 days before a big cycling trip, Spoke with Ron in service, who assured me he would get it fixed, Ron got my bike in when the store opened and came through with the repair. Runs perfect. Thanks Ron! You saved the day!
Kevin O'Sullivan: Great products and service
Chris: One of the best shops around. I bought my son a bike from there with the intention of taking him with me to the bike park. Come to find out the bike we got didn’t meet the standards of the bike park. I went back in to see if they had any recommendations on how I can make it ready. They instead took the bike back in on a trade and got us out the door with something ready to go. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Chris Hart: Spent 1K+ on a new bike. Was told to bring it back after the break-in period for a free tune up. Did lots of rides and it was time so we called and asked if we needed an appointment for our tuneup, was told "no just bring it in". Loaded up and headed over. The repair shop person accused us of not knowing how to ride a bike because it should not need a work yet, and told us we would have to make an appointment. His demeanor was completely unprofessional. NOT IMPRESSED at all.
Jennifer Hart: Service center- in Salem NH -called to make sure we did not need an appointment for disc brakes to be serviced after a new purchase. Was told no it was walk in. Walked in, told the guy in the service area that the brakes needed adjusted because they were making noise. He accused my son of doing something to them and went into the computer system to tell us we has 3 accounts, this was our first time in, and that he could get us in Wednesday. How is that walk in service, today is Saturday.
Craig T: I had never been here here before but I was looking for a specialized mountain bike and ended up buying a rockhopper sport. You can tell these guys are real pros. I came back because I had a shifting issue they took it and fixed it right away. Thanks
Mike Poublon: Awesome service by the folks from Buchikas. Now that they have arrived in Nashua, I have used them twice for my Canondale road bikes and couldn’t be happier. Great work and great price for tuneups and service.
PsilocyBen: Randii in service is has expert knowledge and is genuinely a great guy. Highly recomended! 10/10 would return.
Shawn Hollins: Team is super knowledgeable & cost is reasonable
Joshua Glynn: Great selection

Ski & Sport Shack: what do users think?
John Scriven: Came in last minute to get my skis tuned and they did an excellent job in less than an hour. Very friendly staff too.
Harrison Fish: Great service, love the polish guy
Kevin McCarthy: Excellent ski equipment, prices and service. I shopped around and these guys were the best in all three categories listed above. I am a lifetime customer.
Tyler Austin: This is the best place in the area to get any work done on your skis. They are friendly, helpful, and the tuning work is second to none. Rush service is available & they are happy to do it unlike some other shops. If you are still going to one of the other shops in the area I would give Ski Shack a try, and you can thank me later!
Nick Jacobs: Very nice people! Came for ski sharpening and they knocked $50 off for same day sharpening.
Christian TQ: Great customer service
Devin Bean: They were the absolute best! I came in with a broken binding and they fixed it within 10 minutes and were so nice.
Yappir: Laissez faire aux Polonais!
Evgeny Tokarchuk: Great service and equipment! Thank you
Michael Pugliese: Came here after sun and ski blueballed me and they could not have been more helpful and nice. Break rentals and help. Patrick was great
Austin Cournoyer: Very helpful staff, the manager was very kind and knowledgeable! Definitely going back.
Josh Hwa: Great customer service but their equipment is not made to structure/grind snowboards. Ended up with a concave/not flat base after a full tune and had to have it regrinded elsewhere. I am guessing all good for skis though.
Jeremy Blake-Johnson: Needed to have a snowboard looked at for my girlfriend. Prompt and detailed assessment, and great advice for the next purchase. Awesome staff!
Nick Penta: Me and the boys always get our boards done here before the season. Even got my moms skis done in a quick turn around. Perfect tune up, awesome employees!
Christophe Leroy: We went for a last minute ski season rental. It's too late for this, but not at The Shack:. The staff made every effort to find us the last pair.Well, it might be late for you, but the staff and management here are golden.
Jimmy Hickey: After many different visits to ski shops ranging in CO and MA, Konrad at ski and sport shack was the first to kindly say that he could put my bindings on my skis. It’s wild how quickly other shops can turn you down and change their tone really quickly when you ask them to do something they can’t do, and they know you don’t know a lot. Konrad on the other hand said he could do it and followed through. Understandably, they asked for a lot of time. In the end, they were screwed over because the brand of binding I had, Fritschi, was dragging their feet getting them the jig (a super common thing with this brand). He ended up staying late one night to totally install the bindings with no jig for me so I could have them in time for a trip to Mammoth, CA. He did an absolute impeccable job. He even took the time to walk me through all the ins and outs of the bindings, which I appreciated a lot.For your sake, and their sake, make sure you record your ticket number on maintenance jobs if you drop something off. I didn’t have mine when I called to check in and another worker was towing the line of being rude and refusing to give me an update with a ticket number because of hard it would be to find it in shop. When you go in during peak season, you get why. Just remember to record that number and have it on hand.Great people, great shop. Worth the drive, even if it’s out of your way.
Barbara Lorrayne: Best local ski shop! Very knowledgeable! Great selection of rentals and equipment to buy. They always do an amazing job servicing my equipment! Highly recommend!
Katelyn Kaizer: Awesome service! Their prices were fair and they seem to really care about their customers. Thank you so much!
fabio junior: My girlfriend and I went there to get our bindings set up and they were very fast, knowledgeable, and nice. I’m very happy with their service and will definitely be going back again! Highly recommend them!!
Jake Werth: Very helpful and easy to rent from
Nick Mo: Good service, good deals, fast

Mountain Dogs Ski Shop: what do users think?
Alejandro Domoracki: Great service
Christina Moore: amazing customer service! And so easy to work with! With for sure be back!
G. Peter Grant: I called last minute today as I needed my skis waxed badly as I had recently started working patrol. So very friendly and accommodating. I’m so glad I found a local ski shop of this quality being new to the area.
Sokha Min: Nice and helpful employee
Don Borenstein: Awesome, local, independent shop. I get all my shop work done here. Mike and his crew rock.
Andy Bufano: Experience+ top notch service. Look no further.
Todd McDargh: We can’t wait for ski season every year so we can visit Mountain Dogs! Always the best service and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!!!
Brenton Wilson: Brought in some skis purchased elsewhere to get some bindings and boots. Prices were reasonable and competitive with other bigger nearby ski shops like Ski Haus or Buchika's. I glanced at the prices on the skis and there were some good deals there too. After I picked out the boots and bindings, asked how long the mounting would take to have an idea when I could pick them up. The guy tells me tomorrow night. At Ski Haus, this would have been a 2 week wait. The next day, I realized I forgot to ask them to wax the skis so I called the store when it opened. Mounting was already done and waxing could be done in another half hour. Prices competitive with the bigger stores and service in a fraction of the time. They've earned my business!
Joe B: Absolutely amazing place, felt like I was buying from a friend rather than a store. I am a brand new skier and Mike made me feel at home at the store and set me up with the perfect boots and skis and I was able to take them out that day and had a blast.
Steve Berube: This is a perfect example of a great local business. I was recommended this place by a friend and my experience was fantastic.Bought a helmet for my son, got his skis tuned, and bought new boots and skis for myself.Very friendly, very helpful, and prices were great. Will absolutely return and I highly recommend.
Liam Prior: Got my bindings mounted here, they were nice and proffessional. I asked them if I could pick them up a day earlier and they were happy to accommodate. The employees even showed up earlier than the shop actually opens and got me on my way. Thanks!
Casey Rice: great place for all your skiing needs. staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Jared Gioia: Knowledgeable staff! And great gear!!
Donna Shaw: It would have been nice if your website was updated to reflect you were closed today for a ski day. It would have saved me some driving time!
David Tremblay: Mike and Dave know their stuff! Very knowledgeable!!
Neal Fraser: Best Ski Shop in the area! Owner is always available and explains the difference between equipment and performance. Won't buy my equipment any where else!
Sven Amirian: This store is awesome! The owner, Mike, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and you can be sure you are always getting a good deal.
Bobby Conlon: Mike was helpful with measurements and information, but unfortunately they didn't have any more seasonal rental inventory. Our fault for waiting so long.
David Adams: Mike rocks
Norman Abbott: Michael is super nice & knowledgeable
Jeffrey Litch: Great place for skiing equipment and service on your gear.

Zimmermanns Skis, Boards & More: what do users think?
Joshua MacDonald: We rent my daughter’s skis from here every year and we love how we can roll the deposit over to the next season. I also did the rent to buy program here for my own skis and I love my brand new Atomic skis and boots. We also found a good deal here on a new ski jacket for my daughter. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this store.
Amy Sommer: Nice guys good equipment
Tucker Desfosses: Very professional ski recommendations and elite boot fitting experience. Can’t ask for a more knowledgeable and friendly staff to make your days on the hill even more enjoyable
Kevin Bragg: The giant dude in the tune shop got my skis looking brand new again
Justin W: Absolutely best customer service and super knowledgeable about snowboard and skis. The only shop I will support.
Monica Kiernan: I was looking for a more efficient ski to edge on the slopes within my budget. As I am petite, Brady Derry was able to find a fabulous Elan Element , Adjusted, waxed and tested in 18 minutes..AWESOME. They are mine..Thank you!!
Aron Rose: Fair prices and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Bought a pair of goggles and they gave me a free carrying case for them. Thanks again!
Neal Wang: Nice and friendly people there but their bootfitting really failed me.I went to Zimmerman to get a new pair of hybrid/backcountry boots. I skied resort and am getting into backcountry and the review looked good so I went in there hoping they can guide me.They took the length of my foot and asked what my mondo size was and put me in a new boot. I mentioned my right foot always gave me trouble with ski boots but they promised a heat molding with the liner would fix the issue (it did not). I mentioned there were a bit of heel lift and they mentioned it was not a big deal so I believed them since I wasn't as familiar with backcountry boots. The boot did not feel good skiing at all. Constant heel raise made it feel almost uncontrollable sometimes while still having pain on my upper right foot. Went back to Zimmerman and mentioned this and they put some heel insert in my boot. They also heat molded the boots again (which probably only made it worse since the boots packed out more). Tried skiing again and I was still having major issues controlling skis in my boots.Went to a second bootfitter to get a second opinion since this was frustrating me so much. I then realized Zimmerman didn't do a lot of the proper bootfitting things for me.1. No measuring of my instep. (My instep on my right is .5 size larger than my left)2. They didn't talk about the arch of my foot or any pronations.3. General imbalance and testing of my foot.Turns out the heel lift Zimmerman gave me were not even needed in the first place and I actually need volume reduced in my boots plus a footbed to stop my right feet from rolling.Even though I had free boot adjustments at Zimmerman, I had to pay another bootfitter to truly fix my boots.I'm sure they are fine for rentals, tuning skis, or people with standard feet and the staffs are all very friendly. But I cannot recommend them if you need a proper ski boot fitted.
Sandip Patel: Knowledgeable team who understands your needs and answer all your questions. The service is great and the choices are plenty. We were first timers renting skis for my two teenagers who are planning to ski first time. The team here explained how the program works, available options and the cost. Everything was explained very upfront. It is a two floor store and upstairs they have merchandise for teenagers and adults. First floor is for kids merchandise.Prices are reasonable for merchandise. For rentals, first they ask some questions about your experience level, your shoe size and then they bring in ski shoes and have you try it. They ensure it fits and yet comfortable. Once satisfied, the skis are brought in and they do ask if there is any color preference.Ski poles are not included but they do carry reasonably priced pole options.I did buy an insurance since my kids are first timers and I want to protect myself from expensive repairs/replacements of the equipments.Overall it's a great one stop shop with professional, polite and knowledgeable team. Everyone here was very helpful. Thank you Zimmerman's for the smooth experience.
miriam concepcion: The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I was very happy with my purchased, I definitely recommend the store to everyone
Robert Paquette: Just bought a snowboard, bindings, and boots. What a great experience. Andre was terrific. Super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Made the whole experience so easy.
Nicole Garrity: We love the annual rental program here at Zimmermanns! As specially with a growing boy, he can trade up for bigger equipment year over year!
Wendy Matteson: Very disappointed with service at Zimmerman’s. After being customers for over 15 years we were looking to buy a pair of ski boots but were concerned with purchase and having my son outgrow before season started. A 500$ pair of boots was purchased then after deliberation decided to return these due to expense and high liklihood that our son would outgrow. We returned and were shocked with the 15% restocking fee on a pair of boots 1 week purchased, never worn. Ridiculous. Will never but anything here again. Shocked and upset with the attitude that we should have known there was a fee of 70$ to restock one item. Would go elsewhere for ski needs.
Jeff Dingle: Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Good selection of skis.
STEPHANIE TIPPING: Our family has been fans and customers of Zimmermann's for years and we have always been happy with the service there. This year, however, set a new level of satisfaction. My husband decided that I was getting a new set of boots and skis for Christmas. We walked in the store, let Andre know that we were looking for boots/skis for me, and Andre picked out the PERFECT set for me! He brought out ONE pair of boots for me. ONE. I tried them on and it was like putting on a mink coat. They were perfect. I insisted on trying on four other pairs, but Andre's pick was the winner. Then the skis...I am always hesitant to put my old skis aside to try something new, but Andre came through again - his choice was perfection. I have skied everything from New England Ice to Colorado Powder; corduroy groomers, armor plated moguls, mashed potatoes, and back-country freshies. The skis Andre chose for me held every edge and handled every varied condition with ease. I feel more comfortable on these skis than I have in years. I can (almost) keep up with my kids again!Thank you Andre and all the rest of the crew at Zimms. I am a customer for life!-ST
Tom Mason: Pricey but good selection and professional staff.
Helen Rogers: You would be hard pressed to find another ski store that offers such wonderful service.Every employee I have ever interact ed with has not only been knowledgeable but so friendly & always offer individual attention . I would never think of going any place else. Shout out to Kyle who was so wonderful helping me pick out a new pair of ski boots
Austin Pease: Excellent service here. My friend and I went to get a helmet and boots. All of the employees were super helpful and knowledgeable. The ones who helped us not only skied regularly, but also used the equipment from this store which certainly made us comfortable buying equipment there.
Diane MacLean: The two that worked with us, Ryan and Brody, completely went out of their way to help us out and get my son a rental package, late in the season, when I was sure we were out of luck. These two were unbelievably professional, helpful, and great to work with. I’m lucky I went into Zim Sports today!
Tiffani Martin: The staff is amazing and the work they did on my boards the night before I was heading up the mountain was phenomenal! We came in right before closing and they really hooked us up!!! This is def the spot to come for all your ski and boarding needs!!!! They are my go to for sure!!!!
Melissa Albano-Davis: Normally very happy here but I made an appointment online yesterday to come in for an adult lease, website showed they were out of stock for Jr. snowboards, didn't mention anything else out of stock. I arrive and they tell me they have no skis for adults, that they've been out of stock for weeks. With people making appointments, the least they could do is update the website, especially since they've known for weeks.

Ski Haus: what do users think?
Joe Maroun: I went in as a beginner to buy some skis and the man there named joe showed me around and recommended some equipment. He wouldn’t let me buy anything I wasn’t comfortable with and that’s the most respectful thing I’ve ever seen as a buyer. He’s a stand up guy and I’d recommend any friends or family to go here to buy ski equipment. Make sure you go see Joe, he will take care of you like family.
Dan P: Great service throughout the entire process. I spent a lot of money here. After earning a certificate for spending over $1,000 I got a $50 gift certificate. When I tried using it for $50 they told me I can only use it for one item. So my item cost $40 and now I just lose the $10? I tried buying something worth $10 to buy in addition and they said no. I didn't read the back of the coupon at the time but that is just horrible customer service. Great way to say "thank you" to your customer is taking more money from them and getting absolutely nothing. Will not be spending that much here ever again. Horrible customer service when it comes to cash handling. Wouldn't be surprised if this coupon policy was illegal. The coupon states "$ 50 off your next purchase". It does not say item. Very very sketchy if you ask me
Elizabeth O'Neil: Coner was amazing today. We purchased some skis and boots back in December and the boots just never fit my daughter well and resulted in loads of tears and renting a set on the mountain. No fun! Went in today and Coner took his time understanding the problem and discomfort and set us up in a new pair of boots that were immensely better. I was impressed by his ability to HEAR the problem and NOT knee jerk react with “they should fit”, observe the fit that worked and the fit that didn’t and offer solutions. Very very happy customer walking out and easy to hit the hill! I even shook his hand, I was that pleased. Well done, sir!
Sean Newell: This review is for Woburn. No link to click yet. Kevin was extremely helpful on my boot fitting. Staff was really nice lots of selections to choose from.
Rafael Gaviria: Excellent service. Friendly staff.
Tim Glanville: First time stopping by during the holiday season. one of the finest ski shops i’ve been to New Hampshire. I was impressed with the amount of merchandise and the the staff was friendly.
Rachel Salles: Logan was fantastic! He helped my boyfriend and I with our new boots and boards and truly went above and beyond! Highly recommend NOTB!
Brian B: Was informed by one guy in the ski sales department that appointments take priority, and that as a walk-in, I could wait "20-30" minutes for assistance--seemed reasonable to me. I waited 40 minutes, and asked the second guy in ski sales (the ski sales manager with long blond hair) if he could let me know when they could help me. He informed me that he had no idea, and that I could request an appointment online. I told him that I'd have been fine if they told me that 40 minutes earlier, but now that I had waited, could he give me a rough idea? He responded that he had no idea that they would be this busy (wait...it's all by appointment, and he didn't know?). In any case, I told him that I would've liked to have known that earlier, and he responded that I "can go to another store".When the manager flippantly tells you that you can go to another store because his staff failed to communicate properly and that's after they waste 40 minutes of your time, it is enough evidence for me to question how well they will stand behind a $400+ set of skis.I recommend to take your business elsewhere.
Courtney Leary: Connor helped my girls get set up for the season and was super kind, helpful, and didn’t try to over sell us! Always a great experience at ski haus!
Lynne Gibbs: Ski Haus in Salem was great! Made an appointment for the day after Christmas . Very busy day but we were taken care of promptly. The young man who worked with us (Patrick ) was very helpful and made it fun for my 7 year old granddaughter. We came out with her favorite color skis!
E K: Great selection for all!
stephen sullivan: Awful. I had 3 appointments set up (one for each of my kids). We drove 40 minutes to location only to be told you ran out of ski rentals weeks ago.The question I had to ask…why are you still taking appointments.
M: Price gouging and terrible customer service. Salesman helping with boot sizing was knowledgeable. But his constant attempts at upselling were ridiculous (e.g. we needed special socks, special inserts, etc.). He ignored our requests for looking at lower priced equipment. Customer service further degraded (significantly) when we were buying goggles and helmet. Woman managing the cash register area was rude, disrespectful, and belligerent. I found similar equipment at other stores for a fraction of the price. I just got back from returning everything we purchased last night. I will never shop here again.Owner's response is additional confirmation that I'll never shop here again.
Christy Arnold: Wonderful Experience. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable.
Melissa Siopes: Kids got fitted today for seasonal rentals. First time for us using Ski Haus. Joe was awesome with the kids. Excellent experience!
Renee Trupiano: Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their products and fitting boots and skis. There are stores closer to where we live, but the experience at Ski Haus never disappoints (plus I love seeing the dogs in the store)!
Mary Wegmann: Connor was so helpful for us as we sized our daughter for her rental skis. He even played along with me as I said we were sizing her to give the measurements to her Elf so Santa could bring her skis and boots. Excited to rent from them this year!
Kev Mac: Super nice employee helped two of my kids ages nine and 10 get fitted for boots and skis. Even ask them what colors they preferred which made them excited. Can’t wait to get on the slopes and will definitely use these guys again next season.
Bill C: Great experience getting seasonal leases. Alex was super helpful and took the time to make sure everyone was happy with fit (and even colors ...yes, it does matter) We had gone to the other stores for years, but first time at the Salem, NH store and I was impressed with the size and selection.
Karen Igler: Awesome!!
Helena Rayne: The staff was wonderful but I can’t give 5 stars due to the pricing. We went to rent my 13 year old son skis, he’s now in adult sized and it cost me $430!!! I almost fell over. Especiallu since my friend with us rd you g she younger son skis cost only $130. They told me it was more expensive bc the skis and boots were brand new, that all the other used skis were gone . $430 to borrow skis for the season, NO ONE cares if they are new, it shouldn’t cost me more money bc you ran out of used skis.

Sport Loft: what do users think?
keyur patel: Rented ski for my kids here for the season, great service from the staff.
Stephan Richter: We have bought skis for the kids there the past 8 years and their service was always great. Today the rep spent about an hour helping my 15 year old son find his next -- and hopefully last -- set of boys and skis.
Blaine Stuart: Was my first visit there. Though they were a bit overwhelmed by the number of people that showed up shortly after me, the staff was friendly and helpful.
John Furtney: Excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed spending my money on new skis and boots. Staff definitely knew there stuff and and were very helpful!
Luke Hendricks: Good place to go for quality products is definitely a place for enthusiasts or those who want ti be able to trust their products
Naomi Martin: Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. The shop seems to have a good selection of equipment and a leasing program but the service was not good. We drove about 45 minutes to go to this shop after reading positive reviews. When we arrived, the shop had no customers and 3 people working there. We did not realize that we had to reserve an appointment for leasing and even though no customers were there, the staff refused to work with us without a reservation. We were also considering to buy new skis and boots, but the rude service turned us away.
Benjamin Corduck: Great program for yearly ski rentals. Perfect for growing kids and the equipment is way better than mountain side rentals.
Melanie Liu: Large selections and good service. We've been renting skis from Sports Loft for the past 2 years for my son. My son is growing fast, so I don't want to buy skis / boots for him, instead we've chosen to rent skiing equipment from Sports Loft, which only costs $129 for the a set (skis, boots, poles) for whole the season, and they would do fitting and sharpening for free.
ben herebfor: No wait time, lots of selection, and staff had the patience of saints as my kid changed his mind over and over and over.
Amit Jain: Great place. Staff is very helpful. They helped us get the rentals within the day. Overall great experience.
Alex Iannicelli: Great local ski place. Nice people and great seasonal rentals.
Julion p: Staff is very helpful and friendly. Came into buy a pair of ski boots and they were very patient in finding a boot that fit well. They really go above and beyond. I've only been twice now but I'll be back for sure and would definitely recommend it to any one looking for ski's or skiing gear.
