ACE Solar: what do users think?
Clark Williams: I had so many questions for the guys at Ace Solar, as going in I had many potential home projects on the table and not much of an idea of which of them were worthwhile. Ace did several rounds of modeling the impacts of tree removal (in the end it became clear it was worth removing all the pines casting shadows on the south roof) and then explored several configurations of panels as I tried to decide whether or not to relocate some roof instructions, whether to go with an inverter that supports a battery, etc. Despite my indecision, I never got the impression that they were losing patience with me, and Ace gladly provided me with all the information I could wish for to make informed decisions. The final system is easy to monitor and producing lots of clean energy. Couldn't be happier!
Ward Bowman: Install team is excellent, but once you have an installation expect to be ignored. Months to get someone be to look at your system, and then you have to be the one pushing for updates. Expect 2+ months for answers and expect them to not deliver on what they say.5 stars to sell and install.0 stars for post installation support.Updating 2/27/2023: Ace reached out to me and indicated the PV system has worked the whole time I have had the system, which is mostly true (almost 1/2 were not connected even though I was paying for them while waiting for the batteries), they seemed to forget that I have both a PV and battery system. The battery system was down 5 months of last year, it was installed in March, failed in June. This is where the review comes from. 2 months to get someone to answer, and then come out to look at the batteries. This had direct impact to the value of a battery system with the Connected solutions intiatives.Best of all, batteries seemed to be acting up again today. Will update as more info is found about Batteries year 2.Update 03/23/23: Still no updates. Possible finally coming out to look at problems in 6 weeks. That is for the problems reported Sept 2022. Ace also backed out of commitments due to questions from 2022. With additional emails and their support team saying they haven’t seen any problems. Sure system isn’t and didn’t work, but no problems on Ace’s part.
William Bannister: Positive:ValueVery satisfied with the installation and performance of the system. System output actually exceeds my expectations. Ace Solar has followed through with all all contracted requirements. I would use again without hesitation.
Ss Zhao: Critical:QualityIf you have issues after it is installed.. Good luck.. They have been delaying my case weeks by weeks.
michael schmidt: Positive:QualityWe've used ACE Solar to install close to 30 panels almost 5 years ago. They still look the same as back then and continue to produce the expected amount of solar energy. We haven't had any issues so can recommend this company. No energy bills and a cleaner environment is the way to go!
Moe L: I couldn't be any happier with my solar installation from ACE Solar. From the start, they responded to my e-mails and calls within hours and took time to answer all of my questions. They handled the entire process, from design to permits to installation to utility company interface, quickly and efficiently while I was away. They took care of setting up the SRECs with a broker and followed up with me on numerous occasions after the installation. The entire process was seamless and quick. Oh, I just received my first electric bill since the installation; it was a credit balance for $28.32. Awesome!EDIT: It is now May 3, 2022 and my system has been down since January (almost 4 months). The problem has been a faulty inverter but despite repeated communication with Ace Solar, they have not responded. I have incurred significant electric bills from the local utility and have lost the ability to generate SREC credits. The initial installation was great but their follow up service STINKS. For this reason, I've reduced my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I'll be happy to update when and if I hear from them.UPDATE May 13, 2022: Ace finally replaced my inverter on May 10 & 11. I have a newer, updated model and the technician reset the gateway as well. I am able to view the system in real time on the app once again. Although I'm disappointed at the length of time until repairs were made, I've learned that the solar energy industry is not immune to global supply chain issues. Ace did a good job in effecting repairs. Thanks!
Hichame Asrary: The inverter was down for about 45 days without sending any error messages, and I lost solar generation at this time. When I contacted Ace solar and asked them who is responsible for the inverter malfunction I got no support whatsoever. Definitely I will not recommend Ace solar since they do not care about customers after installation they got paid already, and they do not assume responsibility of their equipment.
Jeff Fong: ACE Solar was very pleasant to work with. From communication, design, install, and follow up issues, service was excellent and the entire staff is professional. The ACE team went over the solar design and discussed step by step the timeline of events and everything discussed was pretty spot on. The only delay was with Eversource paperwork approvals and installing the electrical meters but this was around the holidays so it was expected to be some delays. There was also an issue with one of my electric breakers that was impacted by the solar system, which ACE took care of. Overall, I am very happy working with the ACE team and would recommend to others.
Travis Allen: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueAce solar did a great job with the installation of my solar panels. Everything went smoothly and the system is producing as expected.
DarylDavid Kolator: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe have had our solar panels installed for about 4 years now. The installation with ACE Solar was easy and went very well. We have had occasion only once to call them back to assist and they were very responsive. It was easy to get hold of someone immediately.
Robert Antonucci: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,QualityWe had a good experience with ACE. We wanted a local company that would know our area and had a track record of good installations. We had a good experience with them.
Bert Engvall: It was a pleasure working with ACE Solar. All employees that I worked with were very professional and personable. The work was completed within the quoted time-frame. Also, the installation team and the electricians did a very thorough job cleaning up at the end of each work day and at the end of the project. All employees were very communicative and ACE handled all of the "behind the scenes" permitting work with the Town and with National Grid.So far the performance of the solar panels has exceeded expectations. We will be moving within the next 6 months, and we are seriously thinking of having ACE Solar install solar panels on our new home.
john davey: Positive:Quality,Responsiveness,ValueCorey the sales representative was thorough and followed up even after project was complete. Install team was very knowledgeable. Overall cost very competitive a good value. ALL GOOD.
Yifei Zhang: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueACE Solar installed 32 panels for us in 2019. Their price was the most competitive and the whole process from contracting to construction was smooth. Highly recommended!
Peter Loeb: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessEverything ACE solar said that they would do was done. It was done well, efficiently, clearly and easily (from my perspective).
sam teller: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe had Ace Solar do a solar installation for us in 2018. The cost was reasonable, and they performed the job on time and with no extras. The system has worked well since, expect for one glitch, which they worked on and fixed expeditiously. We have not had an electric bill since!
michael polonsky: we signed up with Ace Solar back in 2017 and are so glad we did. we had almost signed up with one of those BIG solar players, who we learned in the end lied to us. they told us leasing was the only option and not buying. Ace presented both options and focused on why buying was better for the person long term, not them! they are honest, responsive and have been around for any questions we had. we live in N Andover and are so glad we chose them. would highly refer to anyone.
Devansh Patel: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueBought a house with great solar potential in Spring of 2019 and knew I wanted panels on the roof. Compared a few different companies and Ace had the best quality/price. Solar was on in the summer and no issues since then. Corey and his team were great throughout the process.
Norm Desmarais: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI contracted ACE Solar to install my residential system back in May 2019. ACE wasn't the low bidder at the time but they were competitive and I think I made the right decision with them. The system was up and running on time and has been producing and saving me $! After 2-1/2 years I can say it was the right choice.
bob Orfaly: ACE Solar, of N. Andover, MA, installed a 54.72 kWp Solar Edge system on my commercial building in Framingham, MA. in 2019. The system went live in April of 2020 and to date the system has only produced 41.61MWh, a far cry from the company pro former. There have been constant electric production problems in all of 2020 and to date in 2021. Currently 30% of the panels are dead. Ace says the problem is faulty hardware. When I contacted Solar Edge they claim the problem is to do with the Installation. I paid $147,000.00. for this system and to date(14 months), it has returned less than $5500., a far cry from the pro former estimate of $15,931. per year. This system and this installer might be OK for a small residential home but most certainly not for a commercial building. Commercial building owners beware.
john Botelho: Had Ace install solar panels a littleOver Two years ago .I’m happy to say it was a good decision there was a little confusion in the beginning but everything worked out well.Greg was the sales person at the time and he was fantastic.Electricity bill has gone significantly and we receive Srecs Credits every quarter which average between $600 and $900There’s some months in the summer I don’t get a electricity bill, I have a negative balance. We run the house pretty hard so I’m happy that we made The investment. This past month we had an issue with the inverter for panels not working. (First issue ever)Casey from Ace was more than helpful in getting a technician to come down to look at it and having it replaced in a timely professional manner.I’m an impatient person at times and every phone call that I made to Casey he either answered or called me right back while I was waiting to have the inverter replaced.I would highly recommend having ace help you make a decision for your green energy needs

ReVision Energy: what do users think?
Tom Mason Jr: This is an excellent company that stands by its work and its values. Revision installed a 15.2KW solar panel system for us in 2022. Communication from sales to install was outstanding. Post-install the company answered our questions promptly and responded to any concerns by standing by their work in full. Leadership is fully committed to delivering an excellent product—and they do. Highly recommended and a pleasure to work with.
Megan Mancini: ReVision did a wonderful job from the initial site visit all the way through the install process. It was obvious all the teams work together to deliver a seamless, smooth, customer friendly experience. They were flexible on install dates and when the install team arrived (on time) they had a game plan and executed flawlessly. It was clear they had experience installing on the island location (which can present some logistical challenges). Very happy with the entire team, I got the impression that everyone at ReVision genuinely enjoys working for this company. Makes a difference and it shows up in the finished product.
Don Greenough: We can't say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of every ReVision worker who recently completed a Powerwall installation in our home that complements the solar array that ReVision completed in 2017. The work area was left spotless and, like the array, the battery system is working flawlessly. If only we could find other companies in the trades that are as well-run and competent as ReVision ...
Debbie Botos: We highly recommend ReVision for the installation of heat pumps. The 3-man team was skilled, professional, creative, and willing to do whatever what required. The installation went smoothly and the result is excellent.
Susan McGilvray-Rivet: To a person, everyone I dealt with at ReVision was super helpful. They were extremely patient, answering the myriad of questions I had. The design is exactly what I wanted. The installers were polite, helpful and even cleaned up after themselves! I love the fact that they are a local and employee owned company. They will be around for the future should we need repairs or have questions. They are committed to this work. I would 100% recommend them if you considering solar for your home.
Peter DEARBORN: I just had heat pumps installed in my 1930s home. Marc at ReVision was very receptive to our needs and was critical in designing a heating system that worked for our family and budget. The in depth report/statistics and quote we received gave us the confidence to move forward with the project and the company made applying for the Mass Save rebate which dramatically brought our costs down.I would also recommend that anyone who is eligible to look into having a home energy audit by Mass Save, not just for the rebate requirement, but the energy efficiency improvements allowed us to design a heat pump system that was much more effective and less costly to run.It took a bit of time to go from design to install, but part of the reason was a later change in the design to be eligible for a home rebate and entirely worth it. The install process only took a few days and the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and receptive to any questions/concerns I had about running lines and where to install units. The company is also employee-owned which allowed us to spend our money in line with our values.
tyler kneisel: Working with ReVision has been an absolute breeze from start to finish. Throughout the process, questions I had were answered promptly and effectively. I couldn't be more pleased with the system they have installed.
Mark Seliber: We were very happy with the ReVision Energy team who installed our solar panels. The purchase and installation process went very smoothly and we had constant communication of the steps taken to complete the project. Thank you!
A J: I don't write surveys for vendors (period) but I'll make an exception for Revision Energy. Outstanding. Example #1: The longevity and visual appearance of a solar array on my roof is highly dependent on the position of the supporting structure and the accuracy of the nailing into the rafters. Every nail was "dead center;" very accurate workmanship and the roof presentation is perfect from the street view. Example #2: I was inspecting the electrical work on a Saturday morning. I noticed a large copper line extending from the indoor electrical work and continuing outdoors. I followed the copper line to a new rod in the ground which wasn't included in the scope of my installation contract. "What's this?" I asked. Bill replied "You're house wasn't properly grounded. We fixed this, no charge." Now that's what I'm talking about!
Natasha Bond: Revision Energy just installed our solar panels. Every person we talked to was friendly and helpful! When we were looking into solar panels, we weren't pushed to make a decision on the spot. We were able to take the time we needed to think about it! They are not like other solar panel companies. They are the best!
Ingrid Barry: Revision Energy was very easy to work with. The installation was neatly done in a timely manner. Our only disappointment was that it took several weeks until we were able to turn the panels on as Revision and the town electric company went thru the required paper work to get to that point.
Richard Crowell: ReVision Energy did an excellent job setting up our new solar array. They were easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions. I would highly recommend ReVision Energy
Benjamin Taylor: I couldn't be happier with the work done by Revision installing solar panels on the roof of our home.
Keith Zellman: I had several equal quotes for solar installation but chose ReVision because of their personal involvement during the quote process. ReVision exceeded my expectations: from the design, installation and communication throughout the process.I chose ReVision for my mini-split system with the same results. Nic's installation team of Frank & Mark were professional, courteous, flexible, reliable, efficient and proficient. Couldn't ask for more.
Laurie Gaines: ReVision's Team were great to work with. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Converting our 1880's 2 family to solar and electric from gas was a bit challenging but ReVision's team worked with us to figure out the systems, options, costs, etc. They followed through every step of the way, are always available for questions. I highly recommend ReVision.
Laura Smith: We have loved working with ReVision Energy! We have done two projects with them - installing solar and a heat pump. For both projects, everyone we worked with was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. We've had the solar for several years now and we love it!
Harvey Schwartz: Revision put PV panels on our roof, then a year later, installed a heat pump for heat and AC. It s a fantastic company to work with. All of the folks working on these two projects were skilled, knowledgeable professionals whose opinions and work we trusted. We felt that they designed and installed these systems specifically for our house rather than just doing cookie cutter standard installations. Best of all, everybody was so enthusiastic about the environmental benefits of their work. We’ve recommended Revision to friends many times. Could not recommend them more highly.
Susan Walecka: We had our solar panels and power wall installed by ReVision in June and LOVE it! The installation was very professionally done and everything works great!!We highly recommend getting solar, and using ReVisions very knowledgable team of installers! We are in the process of purchasing an EV and will now use our system to charge our vehicle. Yeah... no more gas station stops!!
Duncan Noyes: I've worked with many contractors over the years, and I found the performance of the Revision Team to be flawless - from sales/marketing to finance/administration, project management, and installation of a 21 panel array and 2 Tesla Powerwalls. The people on the team were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very competent. All work was done on time and on budget. I was kept informed and in the loop every step of the way, and the paperwork aspect of the project which can be daunting (financing, permitting, dealing with National Grid, etc.), was handled very efficiently. I could not be happier with the project.
Kamaljeet Singh: I had a very good experience with Revision. I added a 5.9 KW system to a pre-existing Tesla. I picked Revision over Tesla. The big reason was that I wanted to work with human beings and I felt it like that with Revision team. The installation and interconnection with our system went smooth. I have asked one of our close family friend to go to revision for the solar panels.
Sunil Mudholkar: I enjoyed my ReVision experience in general. They were easy to work with and responsive. I was very happy with the onboarding process and customer service. I dinged the experience one star for a couple of things though I recognize some may be out of their control:- There was a few weeks of delay between installing the frame and the panels themselves. The panels were delayed, I am sure the global supply chain/shipping issues contributed but nonetheless I lost a few valuable weeks here where we have a shorter season.- There was another delay later in the project with the electrician and getting approval. There was a change that needed to be done and then a re-inspection so I also lost some time there.I also didn't get any notice when the utility came out to replace the meter luckily someone was around but I don't think this is within their control. I blame this on the utility.Overall I would recommend ReVision - they were a friendly locally run team and I'm looking forward to the operation of the array.

Yaskawa Solectria Solar: what do users think?
Dan Wong: I have been a customer of Solectria Solar Inverters since 2011. As of 2014, Solectria is now Yaskawa Solectria Solar (Solectria) , a division of Yaskawa America Inc. I am an early adopter and supporter of promoting green businesses in the hospitality industry in Arizona. I am not a technician or have any expertise in solar technology. I am a CUSTOMER who relies on professional people specializing in this technology. We own a solar array of 315 panels. The inverter was from Yaskawa / Solectria, model#PVI95KW. At the time, we purchased an extended warranty set to expire on 1/20/2033. Typically, when I post a review, I usually promote and endorse a company based on its reliability and the service that comes with the product.Throughout the 12 years, I have had an average of 3-4 visits every year from Solectria. In the past four years, it has been challenging to have a technician come out due to Covid and staff shortages. When technicians arrive, specialty parts are remanufactured,or stock parts are used for the repair. The Solar inverter system we invested in has been non-producing for almost two years. My attempts to reach out to the technical department have yet to be answered but rather re-directed to voice mail without anycallbacks. With the help of a local solar company in my community, the company has sent out correspondence to work with Solectria to resolve the issues. Yet, the solutionsand cooperation by the company have yet to be answered.Affiliations to its industry peers add credibility to any organization. – California Solar +Storage Association, SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association, NABCEP (NorthAmerican Board of Certified Energy Practitioners), OSSIA (Oregon Solar & Storage Industries Association) all add to a higher standard that, as professionals, set a standard to follow. Standing by your product and doing the right thing to resolve anissue should be Solectria’s top priority; brand recognition of the product and the integrity of the people representing this company should be cherished. The customer shouldnever lose confidence in the quality of its products, nor the technical expertise of its people. I purchased a warranty, expecting a level of service and reliability. As of now, inquiries have gone unanswered. We’re not a big company, we’re a family operation that still pays for this investment from a second mortgage. We’re seeking an amicable solution to resolve this issue, so that we may move forward. This is not the way anyworld-class Japanese company would treat its customers, big or small. I am so disappointed and frustrated with this company and plan to let businesses know how we have been treated. I am sure Founder, Keiichiro Yaskawa, Junji Tsuda, and CEOHiroshi Ogasawara at 2-1 Kurosakishiroishi, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu 806-004 Japan would also like to know how its subsidiaries are representing its product and service inAmerica.
Bob Faggot: 45 minute wait on the phone and still going
Jacqueline Klatte-Rolfe: Please note, this is a ZERO STAR reviewThis company is dreadful. We have had 3 Inverters that have gone bad & all they do is send refurbished units that quit working after 1 year or less, because they 'don't make that Model anymore' (I wonder why??) The company will not send an upgraded unit, perhaps because they are just as useless as the previous models. It seems to me that the CEO/CFO are in this to see how much money they can pocket & how much they can inconvenience anyone who was dumb enough to buy one of these things. All I want is for them to come clean & make this right (probably not an option for these crooks)
tiffany macaulay: I am 100% committed to giving a company a chance prior to giving them a bad review online but you can only do that if they return your calls or emails. I would give a zero star review but that isn't an option. Our company received a quote to fix a repeated issue that prohibited our solar panels from working . After a run around they said they suspected the failure would be covered under the warranty but provided a quote if it was more in depth and wasn't entirely covered. Setting up the warranty work with their technicians' was difficult but we did eventually make it happen. They came to do the warranty work - said the part they replaced still didn't work so they said they'd have to return later to actually get things working. They mentioned it in passing to a maintenance team member but really didn't connect with their onsite contact. They did not return, did not call, nor did they respond to our attempts to get in touch but boy did they bill. We received an invoice for around 500% over the quote provided. They also decided they would charge a credit card they had on file for a prior purchase. We continually called to try to not only discuss the over charge but also get the solar panels working (an investment that is not producing anything). We still have not heard from them. Shockingly they will also not respond to American Express.I have been dumbfounded at their lack of response or care for their customers. I have never had service (or lack of) this terrible from any established company.
Jim Curtis: Run, don't walk, the other way. Inverter failed prematurely (a month after warranty expired), paid $6,000 for a new core, which failed again in exactly three years. Company said warranty was 90 days!!!! on replacement parts. and stated that "it ran for 3 years" as if that was good! Quality substandard.
Chad Kopp: We purchased and own 4 inverters from Solectria. Each one has had service issues, they are 5 years old. The service from Solectria is among the worst I have ever experienced. Currently, (Oct 2019) I have been waiting for several month for a service visit from the company to repair 2 inverters. From what I believe is poor equipment quality and poorer service, there is no chance we would purchase from Solectria in the future.
Ed W: Purchased dozens of inverters from this company. Had a central inverter fail after only 5 years of serviceWhen the tech told me that was a'pretty good run', we took our business elsewhere. Of course, they charged $1500 for about 3 hours labor and 2 hours travel. What a racket.on top of a $4500 part.Just goes to show, you get what you pay for. Sadly at this place, you're paying for junk.As of this writing, the only other reviews are from current employeesYou can have all the smart people in the world, but when you don't take care of your clients, they go away
Saravana Sr PCB Designer: Truly high tech company and a bunch of super smart people, Great place to work,

RevoluSun Massachusetts: what do users think?
Charles Carey: We put off the whole solar process for years fearing that it'd be a quagmire of poor process, spotty communication, unmet promises. I now regret the wasted time. Our experience working with Dan and the rest of the team at Solaris Renewables was exactly the opposite of what I feared. Clear communication throughout, timely movement from step to step, and surprisingly little needed from us during the process. Dan was the first from several companies I spoke with who knew about the municipal utility company in my town and how that change the whole equation for us. I can't think of anything about the experience I would change.
Katherine Dale: Revolusun did a fantastic job with our solar installation. You never feel like you're being 'sold', they answered all of our questions, and were even able to update our design plan after realizing we would have to remove a shutter for the external piping. Paolo did a great job coaching us, and ensuring a smooth experience. Our system looks and works great.
Tyler Hendrickson: Called them to install solar on our house. Sent them bills, had a sales call and then was ghosted. During our call I had mentioned we took down 40 trees and they had an old picture that they performed an analysis on. Sent them a new shot from a drone and said they’d follow up. It’s been nearly a month and no contact. I’d expect them to follow up at the least.
Ayse Koymen: We have had solar panels for about 2 1/2 years now. I will say that we are saving money on our electric bill. I am only giving it 2 stars because of the misleading information. We were told that Revolusun guarantees 90% of production each year. Do NOT believe them. In our second year, when there was low production, we contacted the company at the end of the year. And they told us that it’s not each year, but it’s cumulative. And sure enough, they came up with all sorts of excuses to make sure they don’t cover the difference between the electric bill and the panel production. I make sure to tell people they should use another solar company.
Erin Graffam: We have had our solar panels up for 7 months. There have been a few hiccups (not their fault) and have been so helpful with getting everything done! I highly recommend Revolusun!
Jennifer Firneno: Updated Jan 2023: I must lower my rating as Richie left a year or 2 ago and, in 3 separate interactions I've had with the company since then I've received terrible or no customer service. I would no longer recommend them.‐----------------I made my decision to use RevoluSun in part because of Richie Bonney, the sales rep. He's incredibly knowledgeable and really good at answering questions/explaining things and made the other reps look like chumps in comparison (I say this tongue-in-cheek but it' true, frankly).I received 4 solar quotes. While at face value (gross system cost) RevoluSun looked more expensive, when I drilled down into the numbers it turned out to be the most reasonable when comparing KW size to system cost, so I urge folks to look carefully at those components when making a decision. The Solaria panels I got are supposed to be advantageous in part because the rail system holds up to snow and ice expansion/contraction better than traditional systems since there are fewer penetrations in the roof. That makes sense to me, though I can't speak to being able to witness the difference myself, exactly. RevoluSun was responsive throughout the process when I had questions, going through the process of setting up the system with my utility (no small feat), and walking me through the system once I went through my first bill cycle to be sure I understand how to track it and such. All in all I am quite happy with their product. I bought a hybrid vehicle about a month ago and the system easily pays to run that, as well, and I love to get my negative electric bills and checks every month.
Phillip Huyett: Did a decent amount of research before committing to a solar company and went with Revolusun for attention to detail, local team, etc. We ended up moving a few years later and needless to say, I didn't have to do any research the second time around. Both experiences were wonderful.
Jean Audet: I had RevoluSun install my rooftop solar system three years ago and I still believe it was a great decision. I have since recommended RevoluSun to several of my neighbors and they were all very pleased with the quality of the work done. I am particularly pleased with the service and attention we all received from Todd Weinberg, our RevoluSun Project Developer. Long after our systems were installed, Todd is very responsive to all of our inquiries and questions. I never hesitate to refer people to RevoluSun and to Todd Weinberg.
Bob Warner: It was around this time last year that I decided to add solar to our rear-facing roof, and at the suggestion of two neighbors who had previously used RevoluSun, I reached out to Todd Weinberg. After an initial conversation by phone, we arranged for a more in-depth proposal, which resulted in our giving the go-ahead for the project. We were delayed significantly by the need of our HOA to amend existing rules/regs related to the placement of solar, but that was finally sorted out in late summer. By early August, our job was started and the panels installed, the electrical equipment placed in the basement. As expected, it took a bit of time for the town of Plymouth to give their final approval, and then for Eversource to swap out the meter and give the go-ahead. We went live at the beginning of November. One thing I really appreciated was the communication from the company. Todd was very responsive to text messages, often within minutes. The installation team could not have been more professional. The back office support has been fantastic, even holding on to my substantial deposit check until the HOA approval came through, instead of cashing it and waiting for the go ahead.Since the installation, we've had two fearsome windstorms and one minor power outage, and the system has held up throughout.I am pleased to recommend RevoluSun. The may not be the least expensive (and Todd told me this right up front), but the quality of the product, the service rendered, the installation process and follow up afterwards really made this a good decision on my part. I have since recommended the company to others in our community.
Ted Chambers: We had a terrific experience working with Dan Valianti and his team from Revolusun. They were incredibly professional, answered all of our questions, and were flawless in their execution of our project. We are now the proud owners of a 10kw system that is going to make a huge difference for our bottom line. Very happy to recommend this company.
John McKinley: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueCan’t say enough about this company! Very professional, thorough and high quality. Paolo Ricci stayed in touch throughout the entire project and was very proactive in dealing with any issues as they came up. I would highly recommend!
Robert Buchanan: RevoluSun came highly recommended by a neighbor who recently had a solar system installed. We decided to go with RevoluSun and have been very pleased from start to finish. Moira, our project developer was extremely helpful and informative, patiently answering all of our questions without pressure to make a quick decision. Once we decided to move ahead with the project, the team laid out the timeline, detailed project plan, sequence of events, payment schedule, etc.. The plan progressed on time without any surprises or issues. The team was very knowledgeable and professional. Jordon, our project engineer spent a good deal of time answering our questions and included our input in locating system components, etc.. The installation team did a great job, very neat, timely. We are very happy with the appearance of the system. Since going live, any questions we have had have been answered in a timely and complete manner. Molly, an administrator at the company has been particularly helpful with this. Most importantly, our electricity savings are consistent with what had been projected. We would strongly recommend this company if you are considering solar.
Benjamin Suddard: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,QualityHad a good experience working with Revolusun! They were friendly, informative and great to work with. The install was very neat and clean, and got done within the original quoted time frame. Looking forward to Sunny days ahead!
Adam Scott: I could not be happier with Revolusun and my new solar system! The team was unbelievably professional and timely. Most importantly, they did exactly what they said they would do and the communication was top notch. When researching companies to go with, the big player only wanted to interact with me via chat. Revolusun was local, responsive and had the best customer service. That mattered to me and was the value I wanted. You get what you pay for and I’m so thrilled I went with Revolusun!
Marie Hartwell: Positive:ResponsivenessWe had such a great experience with our solar installation and now reap the benefits of lower costs during a time of rising energy prices. Everything from ditch digging through Eversource connection was handled by Revolusun. The best thing was how promptly the team responded to my concerns.
Allen Fleishman: I went with RevoluSun primarily due to their consistently high ratings on review sites and the BBB. They were not the lowest price. However, the lowest price vendor had aweful ratings and very poor BBB reviews. I’m happy with RevoluSun’s price. I had a Zoom sales meeting in late February and the panel was turned on in July. A large reason for the five-month delay was town and power company inspections. I was told these delays are expected ahead of time, so no surprise. The steps involved included getting aerial surveillance, plans for the job, checking roof stability, electricians, and as mentioned before inspections, inspections, inspections, and more inspections. The actual installation was done in two mornings, clean and without any issues. I only have the highest regard for the RevoluSun people involved.Pros: Work was done without any problems. My first electrical bill was $5, the next two were around $20. Not $250. I believe them when they said the panels should be paid off in 6 years. I believe my total cost (after tax rebates) will be about $10,000.Cons: I reviewed the contract very carefully and found a number of flaws (e.g., missing guarantee for the panels’ life, some damage exclusions made no sense). I’m no lawyer, but it pays to read the ‘fine’ print. They approved my revisions. The final visit and review of the app was originally scheduled as a Zoom meeting. There were enough details (e.g., what the 3 indoor and 2 outdoor switches do – and what I need to do in an emergency, the app showing electrical savings, review of the power company’s 3 most recent bills) that I strongly suggest it be a person-to-person meeting. The project manager sent four emails trying to get it to be a Zoom meeting. I was able to get a vice president to explain the system. A very, very good 1-to-1 meeting.
Robert DiPietro: Overall a very positive experience. Salespeople explained the project in great detail with good documentation--and they weren't too pushy. The installers themselves were fantastic. Very neat, very fast, very nice. The panels look better than anyone else's I've seen. Low profile, clean lines, sleek appearance. My one and only complaint was our experience post-installation (and post-payment). They weren't nearly as responsive as they were during the sales phase. I guess that's typical, but it was a letdown after our experience up to that point.
Jon Michalek: I had a great experience with Revolusun! It’s a big investment, but Kerri Sadoff was very helpful in answering questions and partnering with my wife and I in running numbers and making sure it was a good fit for us. Installation was swift and professional. I highly recommend working with Revolusun when the time is right for anyone to go Solar!
Andrew Smith: Great systemI have had to change my review as the system has fallen flat and the company as a whole is a disgrace to the industry! They installed the system over my roof that apparently had major issues, after telling me it looked great. The team cared enough about taking photos of damaged shingles, pulling nails, but installed anyways without telling me.About 2 years later and my roof leaked. The companies respond was, too bad, not our fault.Updating my review as my roof is again leaking and I found a photo of my roof just before they came... It looks perfect so you be the judge but I would RUN away from this company.
Babak & Atoussa Najafi: RevoluSun installed our solar panels for us two months ago. The system has been working great so far. Overall we've been very happy with the design process, installation, and support. Our project developer was Kerri. She was very nice and patient with all our questions and promptly got back to us for anything that needed a bit more research. Gave us a few design options with and without a battery to think about, each complete with estimates of cost and savings. We had conversations with the design engineers for our system, and they were very thorough and knowledgeable. The installation went very smoothly as well. The panels are perfectly lined up without any wires showing, so they look great. The timing of the install was almost exactly as we had been promised. After the install, I had a few questions that Molly from the support team answered promptly. Again, she was knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. We just had a follow up with Kerri last week where we went through our new electrical bill (of $0) and credits, and she answered any remaining questions about the SMART program, etc.Again, we had a great experience with RevoluSun and highly recommend them.
Maria Krings: The customer service we have received from RevoluSun has been excellent. Whenever I reach out someone gets back to me. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very impressed by everyone from sales, to installation, to customer support, everything is handled professionally and well. Paula Berg has been very helpful in getting answers and keeping track of things. Her attention to detail and great customer service have been highlights. Molly has also been a joy to work with. Richie, although he has left the company, was great to work with and so far, the person replacing him has also been great to work with. Thank you so much RevoluSun for being great to work with! It's been a pleasure so far!
