Wendy Welton: We've been using TLH since 2009. He's been responsive and what I would call "feet on the ground". Where many structural engineers will take a small need and turn it into a big project, Todd does not. I'm an architect licensed in 5 states, and do most of our structural design in house. Todd provides additional support as needed, such as shear analysis, special conditions, assessing how to get a builder out of the dog-house when they didn't build to spec and need a remedial detail. He does this for us consistently and with a good level of sanity.
Stacey Sweklo: Unreliable. Literally located .3 of a mile from his office. Asked for a visual structural review of a foundation and needed someone quickly. First weekend appointment...I called to confirm and was told it had to be rescheduled to the following Saturday. That immediately threw off our schedule, but made the mistake of rescheduling with him. Waited all day Saturday...no call no show. Called to ask where he was...no return call, no apology, no follow up. Found a great attentive engineer in the meantime who showed up when he said he would and had everything completed on time. Finally got in touch with Todd after another week...no good reason for being so inconsiderate. Wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule...yeah, right.
