The staff members I encountered was rude, unprofessional and even threatened to call security on me when I tried to return a pair of glasses within the return policy timeframe. This type of behavior is unacceptable and I demand an explanation. #PoorCustomerService #UnprofessionalStaff #DisappointedCustomer
Hailey McCaffrey: Poor customer service. On 12/28 I attempted to return a pair of unopened and unused sunglasses, however, the store employee would not honor the return policy that is outlined on the receipt (item in original condition with original packaging within 30 days of purchase date). I ended up having to travel to the Salem, NH location for the return to be processed. I would recommend purchasing directly through the manufacturer instead of a sunglass hut.
Corey barlow: Also tried to order a pair of sunglasses at the store because I didn't want the display. Was told 3 days they'd be in and they would call me. Called multiple times on day 5. When someone finally answered they said they couldn't find my order and would call me back. When they called back they said "your order was canceled but we just got a brand new pair shipped in today and you can come in and we'll refund you and you can purchase these". Makes perfect sense right? NO! Nobody called. No email. Charge still on my card. So whatever I go back to the store. I go right for the display case to find the ones I wanted so I could take a picture and order them myself. But hmm they're the only pair missing from the display. Then I go to the counter, say who I am. And am presented with a loose pair in a loose case. No box. No plastic. Nothing. 100% lied to sell the display. DO NOT ASK TO ORDER IN STORE. The order will automatically be canceled because a pair of the ones you want are already in the store. Makes no sense but that's what they do. Huge waste of time

They told me they were all scratched up and they couldn't take them and they are "professionally trained" so there is no chance they just sold them to me with a scratch even though I never removed the glasses from the case. Stacey Morse: I cannot relate to the negative reviews on here at all. I ended up going here roughly 6 years ago as a fast and cheap answer to needing glasses and contacts. I continued to go here because they were great. Dr. McGee has been the best. I’ve only had positive experiences with the people working the front. I’ve always felt comfortable and acknowledged here.Today I went in because my glasses broke in half after about 6 years with them. They still carried the same frames so the very kind and helpful woman simply put my lenses into new frames. It took all of 6 minutes.This place is a good one.
Jennifer Johnson: I went there for the first time today for an eye exam and the doctor was very nice. Everybody was nice. The doctor explained a lot to me
Evangeline Custis: I dreaded getting my new lenses made. I would have to go about 2 weeks without glasses while they make my lenses. Since I’m an elderly driver, that’s not good. But I had to go to Walmart anyway, so I stopped by their Vision Center.Johnny was at the desk and was very friendly, and helpful. He explained the options I could have with my new lenses. I didn’t want new frames and he did not try to push new frames off on me, like in most store do.He measured my lenses, my eyes, then took a complete description of my frames. I asked why and he said that with this information, they did not need my frames to make my lenses. Also, if my new lenses got a scratch two years down the road, they could make a replacement lens without me having to go in and sit through all the measurements again, and there was less likely a chance that my frames would get broken while in their care.I cannot speak for those who submitted bad reviews about Walmart Vision Center, but I was well treated by Johnny, the price was reasonable, and I left the store with my glasses on for the drive home, and that’s something new for me.

Olivia Heim: When you make an appointment here, make sure the person scheduling you knows what the days of the week actually are. Scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, put it in my calendar right away as such because I had other appointments Monday and even requested work off for it (did so in front of a friend to have a second pair of ears for me to prevent stupid mistakes). Probably should have expected this from a Walmart based doctor. Thanks Walmart, guess I'll drive home blind now. ✌ Would not recommend, go to a real doctor.

Couple minutes later someone come from out back . I told her I wanted certain kind of glasses and all I got was negative . Bottom line we went with these frames I picked out and she did what she had to do and she said well it worked . So why does Walmart hire people that are negative from the start . I was going there to get cheap glasses and she didn’t know this but you would think she would of asked me if I wanted better lenses nope she went right to cheap . Didn’t go over pricing nothing . Hey Walmart you need to hire people that like there jobs .
Shuvaditta Saha: I visited Walmart Vision center in Tewkbury, MA last month to do my eye test.Nothing bad about this Walmart Vision Center except the doctor who took my eye test, which is why I am giving one star. I wish, i could give zero star !I went to check my eye here on regular bi-yearly check up. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Zhu was not pleasant. Firstly, she was impatient and in hurry the whole time from when i entered the exam room till the end !For example, when she was giving me 2 glasses with different powers to compare, she was giving me no time to feel the difference and was asking me, which one is better !She did not offer me a glaucoma test, color blind test and neither asked me any history of my eye problems ! She yelled at me at some point too !Finally, she gave me a power which I mentioned not to be comfortable with. At this point she yelled at me for the second time !I was very unsatisfied. Therefore, i decided to go to another Walmart Vision center in a different location next week. I did so and saw the difference !My experience in the other Walmart was very pleasant and the doctor saw me with care. They took my glaucoma test, color blind test and the doctor saw me with time and care. The power she gave me is also significantly different from what Dr. Zhu gave me.

Justin Barnhart: I can not say enough about the absolute wonderful shopping experience I had at my most recent visit to Oakley Vault. I was greeted by Fred as soon as I opened the door, which is rare these days. He was extremely helpful; asking about my preferences and literally walking around the entire store, showing my a variety of options of sunglasses. I was very impressed with Fred's friendly demeanor and professionalism. This was, hands down, my best shopping experience in many years. Fred was very patient and polite as I chose the sunglasses I wanted. He told me about the sale and the replacement plan, but was never pushy (or tried to up sell me anything). The other staff member (I am sorry, but I did not catch his name) was great as well.

The clerk that supposedly helped us told us we had no warranty and could not find us in the system. We had purchased the glasses in Freeport Maine on November 2021. We knew there was no warranty but wanted to know our options. He basically took us over to show us the frogskins case and left us to help another customer. We were like, HELLO??? Very angry, we left. The next day we drove to Freeport Maine where we purchased the glasses originally. The woman found us in the system and told us we could purchase new lens's and she could just pop them in for us right then and there. I swear we were in there for 15 minute's total. She made my wife wear the glasses outside and walk around. They were actually a better lens for her than the last one. She was so helpful and friendly and courteous. We will never return to the Manchester NH Store for any reason. Its Freeport or no where. And this is an hour and a half from our Mass home.These days good service is a must. You will have a customer for life if you provide that. New Hampshire disappoints, Maine ROCKS!

They have no information after the 1 year warranty, so clearly no interest in customer retention or help. When I asked the agent to convey my complaint to the owners/franchise she became all mouthy. Digital storage is cheap-how hard can it be to track? You know they keep your name and address though, and probably share that and anything else but can't tell you the model of your last sunglasses they sold 2 years ago. They just lost my future purchases.

The sales associate told me that if I scratched or broke my lenses to buy some online and come back here and we will swap them out free of charge. So 2 weeks goes by and I scratch them at work. So I buy a pair online for $90. Make my way to the mall an hour from my house just to be told they don't have the tools to do so and didn't want to risk breaking them. This place should train there employee's on proper company policy. And how I wasted a trip here for nothing. Thanks for nothing.

Kim Bruzzese: My experience at Sunglass Hut in the Mall at Rockingham (Salem NH) was nothing shy of awesome. I actually visited the store 3 times and Amanda was the salesperson each time. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable and even remembered me when I came back. I was impressed with her genuine concern over my satisfaction. I had originally purchased a pair of Costas sunglasses for my 90 year old mother-in-law but she was not interested in them at all. I was offered to return them or exchange them for another pair that I could keep for myself. I was also able to still take advantage of the Buy One, Get One 50% off deal so I went for it. Thanks MIL for not wanting new glasses!

When I liked the fit but not the color, she researched other color options and ordered me a pair to be delivered to our home. She also took the time to research replacement lenses for my husband's Oakley's. She went above & beyond, great customer service :)

Maxwell Waldron: Manager is an aggressive masker. Forced me to wear a mask in the store. Sunglass Hut no longer has a mask policy; nobody does. I chucked the mask on the ground when I was done, (not even in front of her). I'm not carrying it with me, and there was no receptacle in the store. She found the mask, actually followed me outside the store and started yelling and screaming at me in the middle of the mall. Will never go to this location again.
