Karen Fallon: My "easy peasey" 3 day surgery turned into a second and third surgery. 3 months in hospital, icu, and rehab. The 3rd surgery from his damage is still yet to happen. Do not trust him!As per the above I will now give a more concise review. After much research I have discovered that the 1st surgery done by Dr Mazzrani should not have been done. He gave no indication on negative effects. I especially did not expect him to leave a one inch incision in my small intestine and close. The resulting sepsis created a need for a second surgery to repair it. That in turn created a very large ventral hernia with diastasis rectic as well as an umbilical hernia.This was repaired at another hospital using mesh. It will be painful for the rest of my life. Had this arrogant surgeon told me of how badly this surgery could go, I would not have done it. I was just another paying customer with no real care for his patient. Where did he fall in his class? Last? Do your research before putting your life into his inept hands.Getting sepsis from WM has changed my life forever. Aside from nearly causing my death, it has had a permanent effect on me and not in a good way. He also caused sepsis in a friend's mother who actually did die from it. Find another surgical practice!

Joseph Walsh: All 3 doctors/surgeons are excellent in their field. I was an or rn circulator and worked with all 3. Dr Shore. Dr Shen, and Dr Linn. Each with their own personality and are friendly talkative nice, quite and reserved, or direct and to the point. No matter what, they have their patients interests and well-being first in their heart and minds. I was fortunate to work with them and absolutely without hesitation recommend them to any of my family members.

Alyssa Freeman: I was seen mid June by Dr. Pliskin to have a sebaceous cyst removed. We are in September now and I have something forming beneath my skin.. the incision site is healed but very red, irritated, and tender to touch. I called the office this morning to see about it, but Dr. Pliskin was leaving the office at noon and not due to be back until Tues (which was fine, I couldn't make it before noon as it was roughly 11:05 already). One of their Medical Assistant's, Alicia, told me I could be given antibiotics for the weekend, but since we don't know what it is exactly, I said I didn't want to take antibiotics until I did know (rightfully so). I then asked if an ultrasound would potentially be appropriate to see what's going on, and mid-question, Alicia put me on hold. She came back to the phone, again speaking of antibiotics, so I reiterated that I didn't want to take them without knowing the exact issue and I'd rather wait to be examined next week. I have an extremely sensitive stomach and don't want to take medication for anything if I don't have to. I asked her about the ultrasound a second time (as she did not hear me the first time) and she told me I wasn't letting her speak and they "normally don't do that." At this point she was practically yelling at me/over me. You could hear the tension in her voice and that she was very impatient and aggravated with me. I told her I was letting her speak but I asked her a question and she was ignoring it, she spewed off something I couldn't understand, then she hung up on me. I was not being rude in any way, just asking valid questions for a valid concern and was spoken to like I was incompetent. Disgusted, I called back for the office manager (Monica), who at least seemed to be understanding, who said she would communicate with Dr. Pliskin about my issue and address the problem with Alicia. I explained everything from start to finish and she said she'd have Dr. Pliskin call me back since she is the one who performed the procedure because she is an office manager, not a doctor. Monica called me back instead, and said Dr. Pliskin said I should see my PCP because they'll probably order me an ultrasound, because she will not. I am not a medical professional myself, I just wanted to know if it was a sensible route to take before taking more antibiotics or being cut open again, because it is in such an uncomfortable area and the healing process was a pain. Never mind that I was drenched in sweat during the removal, could feel a lot of the digging and cutting, had to ask for more novocaine several times, was sewn up and pushed out whilst dizzy. Who would want to go through that again and not try to find an easier route? I don't appreciate being spoken to in such a manner, or being hung up on by someone who calls themselves a professional, or their lack of compassion and understanding. I can't speak for the other doctors in this practice, but after my experience with the two staff members and Dr. Pliskin today, I would not recommend Riverside Surgical Associates to my worst enemy, and I will make sure to spread the word and post this review everywhere I can. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU HANDLE PATIENTS NOR KEEP THEM.Note: I called my PCPs office, was respectfully explained why an U/S was not an appropriate test, and will be seen tomorrow afternoon. 👍

David Noel: Dr Shore is an amazing surgeon. She is very personable, caring, & helps you any way she can. Her bedside manners are awsome. Dr Shore fixed an extremely large umbilical hernia for me. I highly recommend Dr Shore. The staff in the office is very friendly, welcoming, & very helpful.
