I Googled and found the London Tailor Shop online. They are local and the reviews were good so I took a chance. Well let me tell you...they exceeded my expectations!!! I had told my daughter not to hold her breath before I went there due to the extremely short time frame but they agreed to do it and it was done well by the next day!!! The price was great too.. Teenage crisis averted and I found my new tailor shop. 😊

Still Swayze: I asked for a simple hem on 7 t-shirts used for workouts for comfort purposes. She refused to do it saying "I don't want work like that coming out of my shop." Apparently my money wasn't green enough for her. George the Tailor happily altered all 7 of my shirts the same day for next-to-nothing. I would avoid this place if you can, they are extremely unfriendly and borderline rude. Steer clear.

paulo lima: My experience was my first and last ever again.She makes you uncomfortable with her attitude (bad attitude); my daughter forgot the day she had to go to try her wedding dress and the place never called her to remind her that she needs to go because they will be closed for 2 weeks which means my daughter won’t have her wedding dress on the week of her wedding. So, that being said think twice!

Charlene Rogers: I left a message on a Monday while they were closed. Recieved a call back early the next day. I needed a dress zipper repaired. I was so impressed in and out in 1 day. During a very busy time of year.

Pat Payelian: Diane is very flat. To say something nice, well, shes not unfriendly. The music she has playing in her shop is religious which is not, in my opinion, appropriate for a professional environment. I took my wedding dress here for alterations- she did not explain how any of this works- She should really be more upbeat and friendly and explain how things work rather than quiet with an air of condescendence in her tone. I asked questions and got mediocre answers. They need to put something up between the riser and that brick wall- if the brick touches your dress it could stain your dress- which Diane did not tell us until we had a near accident with my wedding dress! You should also sweep and clean your floors regularly if your customers need to walk around in their wedding dress. My dress and shoes were getting dirty so i chose not to walk in them to test them out which makes it difficult to tell if Diane is hemming it properly. Oh and when your seamstress says to you at your second fitting (its too late shes already begun working on your dress at this point) that she's quite busy because its prom season you know shes not going to take all the care she should for what you are paying her! Oh and lets keep making more appointments so you can keep charging me $25 for each apointment instead of just doing it right and what I asked at the first apointment. My hem came loose during my formalportraits and it looked like i had ripped my dress. Had to have my maid of honor pin my dress in the middle of the boston public gardens to fix it. Which made us late getting back for the ceremony. I also had all 5 of my bridesmaids, my two sister in laws, and my photographer on their hands and knees looking for the bustle loop during cocktail hour because Diane did not pull it through all the layers of my dress! Thank god i had my wedding day emergency kit for my mother in law to save the day! However i still missed a good amount of my cocktail hour because of this! And my dress became bunched under my arm pits after wearing the dress for only an hour which means Diane did not sew it properly nor tight enough and now i have these bulges of fabric under my arms in all my wedding pictures. She did a cheap job for an expensive fee. Craziness. Diane im sure your a good person but sewing is not your calling

Maria gives you her opinion, but also listens to what you want and comes up with solutions to deliver it. I really wanted my dress to "hug" me and accentuate all my curves and she absolutely delivered -when I picked up my dress, it was perfect...and that is when she truly went above and beyond.A couple months after picking up my dress -and only 2 weeks before my wedding day-I tried it on again and realized, to my horror, that all the Insanity workouts had worked out and the dress was now too big! I had lost too much weight and, though the dress was still gorgeous, it was just not fitting like a glove as it had when I had my fittings. And this dress was designed to fit like a glove. I called Maria in a panic on Labor Day, not expecting a response, because she was closed. She called me back within an hour and said she would come in that day and that she could see me within the hour. She said that she was supposed to have the day off, but because she had customers calling her, she had to come in to be there for them. I went in and she repinned me (taking it in all the way down on both sides) and confirmed that she would be able to have it done in time for when I left - in 9 days! Incredible, because I know it was a busy, busy time - afterall, she had had to come in on a holiday she was getting so many calls from customers.I went in the day before I left for my wedding and I was so relieved to slip into my dress and have that feeling of "this fits like a glove." It was imperative to me that I didn't look like my dress was wearing me and Maria made sure that wasn't the case. It was a dream come true on my wedding day when all the compliments were "that dress looks like it was made for you."I got the dress taken in (twice), hemmed, cups put in, and a bustle put in and the pricing was very fair. No spanx worked out the package so Maria actually sewed the back lower. It was perfect!!! I had a smooth stomach and nothing showed in the back. And it was cut way TOO SHORT. I have to go out and buy new shoes. And to top it off. Still charged me FULL price. After losing my property. And cutting my dress way too short. Never got one apology.

Lisa Guardino: I would give zero stars if I could. I went with my sister and her infant child to get her bridesmaid dress fixed after he had sewn it too tight. He told us to come Monday morning so we arrived at 11 and the door was locked. We called and talked to the owners wife who ended up screaming at us over the phone about how her husband was sick and we had to come back later (even after telling us they open at 10). We had driven an hour and weren’t able to come a different time because the wedding was that weekend! They finally came downstairs and opened the store and we spent the next 30 minutes in a screaming match with them about how he was sick and it was apparently OUR fault that this whole “misunderstanding” happened in the first place. He proceeded to yell at us while waving a blade in the air (and yes we still had my 4 month old niece with us). We went to the car and debated calling the police. We were finally able to get them to calm down enough to quickly fix the dress and get the hell out of there! I would NEVER go back and would advise no one else to go either. They are absolutely crazy.

Marly Dornela: Worst experience of my life!I walked in told him what i needed done and asked the price. He started cutting my fabric without telling mw a price so i asked about 3 times how much. He said Dnt worry i'll do one (i needed 6 of the same items) and i'll tell u when am done come back later. I get back he told me an absurd price for one meanwhile his wife was finishing the others. The price he was charging me was 9 times more the value of the items. It was completely absurd. So we finally got to an agreement i went back the next day to pick everything up and they didn't finish the items left two undone. He very rudely said he didn't need my money and to never go back. As if i was ever gonna. Overall the worst experience of my life i never write reviews EVER but i had to this time.

jay cardone: Mr. Erdemir is a true example of a professional. Beyond polite and welcoming no matter the request and always completed in a timely manner . I thank you sir for being the gem that you are to this neighborhood

Chris McGrail: Mr. Erdemir is very professional and an excellent tailor. Originally I brought two pairs of slacks to him that another tailor had butchered and he was able to rescue them somehow. My wife had a tear in the nylon shell of her jacket and he was able to come up with a patch that looked as though it was made for it- very clever! I have brought many items since then and have always been happy with the results.

Kaylah Marie: Erdemir's was very professional and the work is amazing with good prices. I had two bridesmaids that needed to get their dresses altered in less than a week before the wedding. He was very accommodating with meeting us on his off hours. Cavit worked his magic and both dresses fit perfectly!!

Shranita Patel: Would have gone with zero star if that was an option. Its a ripe off..... Dont waste your time. She might end up charging you for talking too !! She spend less than 10 mins with me for understanding requirements of length alternation. She quoted a high $$$ amount and I decided not to go for the service. At this point with her hands on my dress, she asked for fees for her time and charged me towards no service !!!!!!!

Patty Gigliotti: I had a very bad experience here. I walked in on a beautiful sunny day and greeted the women sitting at the desk with a great big hello and how are you today. I actually think she grunted at me. She certainly didn't say hello back or thanks for asking. She came to the front desk and said "what do you need". I had a Louis Vuitton travel case that needed a new zipper and new liner. Pretty simple if you asked me. She looked as if I was wasting her time, looked at the case for one second (didn't even touch it) and said she can't do it. Honestly I don't think she wanted to be bothered with my measly Cosmetic case. I don't recommend that place at all! Unfriendly unprofessional and grumpy.
