Mark T. Wendell Tea Company: what do users think?
Jonathan iPhone: (April 2023) Drove here from out of town to purchase loose leaf tea but found that the store is still closed to customers. You have to pre-order and then pick up outside the store. There are no prepackaged items to buy and everything is prepared to order. So it is more of a commercial operation than a retail store. No browsing except online. Meh.
John Edmonds: I've been guzzling Mark Wendell teas (especially Hu-Kwa and several of the black teas) since 1959. It's done me no harm. Nothing else will do.
Dave Dyer: I'm a happy customer for 30+ years.
Karen Derreumaux: Excellent service and high quality teas
Irenaeus Sserubombwe: I bought Organic green tea , this tea is so goodI had not tested tea with such great aromaSo far the quality of their organic green is the best for all the finest teas I have tried on the marketKeep up the good work Mark T Wendell Tea Company
Brenda Dick: Years ago I spent an embarrassingly long time researching US tea companies that offered to sell quality tea at a reasonable price retail. Glad I did. Mark T. Wendell continues to offer excellent product with strong personal service, when wanted. However the website they've developed is so informative and easy to use, I can't remember the last time I called.
Tony Gozdz: Excellent selection of teas! Finally, I found a great local source of the famous Royal Red Robe and Formosa Extra Fancy amber Oolong. Once you try one of these teas, you can't ever go back to any of the grocery store varieties...
John Harrington: Always friendly, helpful & professional service
silas n mejia luna: Good place
Carlos Valle: Have been drinking assortment of Mark Wendell teas for some years. Consistently excellent product quality.
Pigtail Bbq: Irish breakfast is my favorite tea of all but I like a cup of hu kwa with spicy Mexican food and I drink a lot of the tropicana iced tea all summer. The service is also great! !!
Russ Green: Great service and great tea - very down to earth company with a great tea selection.

Sun and Soul: what do users think?
Melodie O'Leary: The owner Kayleigh is awesome. Friendly and personable. My husband and I go several times a week and have loved every tea and shake. Highly recommended this place.
Andrea Cap: Obsessed!! A Must try place for shakes, protein balls and amazing teas. The vibe is warm and inviting and the shakes are so damn good. Already dreaming about stopping by again on my ride back from Portsmouth to boston!! Oh and service is friendly n fun.
Lyssa Hapgood: Adorable shop with friendly staff. The teas are great, haven’t tried the shakes yet, I was told they are getting reusable containers for those who are plastic conscious. Overall highly recommend!
Louis Papa: Great place, shakes are great. If you have not stopped in you are missing out.Stop in and see Kayleigh and have her complete your day.

Maruichi Select: what do users think?
Jaz C: Consistently fresh produce ranging from sashimi, meats, veggies and prepared food. Their in-store chirashi bowls are much better and cheaper than what you would get at some restaurants in Boston!
Rayne Mahfood: This store is the best. They have a wide selection of food, and they have a separate skin care section with cute little trinkets sprinkled throughout. Their mochi ice cream is the best! Some things can be a little pricey but it makes sense because they’re probably paying a lot to import. Definitely check them out!
ray yin: This place is helpful and all the stuff there are friendly.
Tatiana Chapaeva: There are many things but I was there for cosmetics. And specially sheet masks impressed me, there are so many. Cheap and pricy, small packs and large, serum and jelly, I highly recommend for all skin care lovers to come and check it out 👌
Karchevsky Kirill: Классный ассортимент, не высокие цены.
Andris Vizulis: Closest thing to a supermarket in Japan that you can find here in the Boston area. Really great. The special selections for New Year's were superb!
matchy mom: Fantastic fresh greens, veggie roll & love those white turnips!Friendly & so accommodating & helpful !Ruth ConnerBrookline MA
classic huang: 不少日本製跟亞洲的東西,買了個冷藏鯛魚燒不錯,也買了一些日本餅乾
Marcus 03: I bought the „Washugyu Marine“ beef for overpriced $16/lb. While the marinade tasted good, the beef was chewy like shoe soles. I tossed most of it out into the trash.
nolan halsted: The store has nice collection but their return policy is the worst. They refuse to accept something I bought that expires the month I bought it.Plus many of their machandise expire within 1-2 month. This makes it really hard to use those things for gift.
Kse Nia: Super, I like matcha
Alan Fang: Very nice little Japanese supermarket conveniently located in Brookline with a unique inventory of items that would otherwise be hard to find. I was particularly impressed with the cold foods section having a variety of ready-made onigiri in stock. While commonplace in countries like Taiwan and Japan, it’s rare to find them here.
E P.: Very clean, very well stocked. A great variety of fun items. Loved this place. Definitely a favorite.
Tse Chi: Nice Japanese Market in Boston.
Philip Hardebeck: Locally grown daikon, huge variety of ramen, soba, and udon. Oden kits and bags of rice - all the Japanese staples. Convenient parking in back, too; Central St lot.
M: Has everything you need from onigiri to snacks to bento’s
Mark Sherer: Usually really wonderful. Good quality fish for sushi and just a ton of japanese grocery items. My only complaint is that I noticed a parasite coming out of one of the fish after buying it.
Ellen S: I'm confused about how many stars to give... If you don't know Japanese you can't figure out most of the product (I'm not talking about fresh fruits and veggies). Also there are cosmetics, shampoo etc. No Japanese (language) - no reason to go.
xxinglann: Always love coming here for snacks and seeing their fun items in general. The salmon roll with nori and sesame was delicious!
Cecile Braun-Jones: Interesting addition to Coolidge corner. All you need for cooking, sushi grade fish, fresh produce, some ready to go meals. The grocery store portion is a bit overpacked particularly given there is so much space there.
Jane K.: Wide selection of Japanese groceries with reasonable prices. There are also home goods being sold and produce in addition to food
