University Music: what do users think?
Jenny M: Great place for instruments, music, and lessons! Everyone is very friendly and prices are very reasonable. Marlene has helped me numerous times when I am looking for specific music for my piano students, and has also helped me with small repairs on my violin. I greatly enjoyed taking violin lessons here with Natalia.
Anthony Volpe: When you need something for music, whether it be band or string or accessory’s, they have a place to go
James McNulty: Watch out for the big chicken, almost got me last time
Nathalia: i do my violin lessons here and its awesome
Suzi Weber: Knowledgeable and friendly staff and instructors. And jam-packed with instruments - definitely worth checking out!
Gdebanen-Noodenimin Clarke: Wonderful small-business with knowledgeable staff and teachers for lessons. Plenty of instruments and accessories for anything you need!
Richard J. Sheehan: Knowledgeable & friendly staff.. thanks Maureen and Eric. And lessons also.
Marlene Buckley: Best customer service! Delivered digital piano to my home!
Mark Claffee: We went to give our rising 5th graders a chance to see the instruments they can select between for next year. We got tons of 1 on 1 attention, they got to hold and try whatever instruments they were interested in. In the end everyone is happy and instruments are selected with confidence.
Jack Sharon: Great store! They carry music and instruments for all levels of musician! Marlene, the owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
Tq'λtsenoe Tchosenone: Great Place with friendly staff who definitely know what they are selling. A great help to the community, and definitely one of the most Iconic Stores in Lowell. Excellent Prices and range of accessories as well as instruments too! The staff is very down to earth and friendly,Marlene has a great memory for anything, anything, whether it is musical gadgets, gimmicks, or students she's taught (like my 20 year older than me cousin who she still remembers! Wow!)Eric is more than a whole unit of Inspiration from many Students across the Middle Schools, (where the band program and a generation of musicians begins), and is also very amicable,And I'm sure Buck is great. They also serve free cake on special dates!
Manu Hegde: Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have bought my alto sax, reeds, and tons of music from this place. My questions have always been answered quickly and easily. This place has lessons as well which I find very helpful. Overall, an excellent place for any instrumental or musical needs.
D Nel: I strongly recommend this place! They sell various instruments and it's the perfect place for band students. They do private lessons, got sheet music, can try the intrument out (as long as you bring your own mouthpiece) and got nice brands that I always use. The owner is very nice and kind. I feel that it is a bit more expensive here (at least saxophone reeds), but considering you'll most likely get what you want here, it's not bad at all. Strongly recommended!
Dominique Cyprès: The owner Marlene helped me find exactly what I needed.
Christian hayon: Great place, they have WiFi!
Thomas Radovan: Very knowledgeable great people
Eileen Oliveira: Friendly service
C S: Knowledgeable people helping us navigate the music instrument world. Very friendly people and reasonably priced rentals.
Gisele Couto: It was 4:10 pm on a Saturday and I realized that the store closes at 4, and luckily I calledThat lady waited for me until 4:30 and we’re able to get the violins for my girls. The best customer service, helpful and quick. Truly recommend them.
Joel Naticchioni: Very helpful and knowledgeable people here. They enjoy every instrument (and they have a LOT to choose from) that's in here, and are glad to help you find the perfect fit for your style and budget. Luthiers are available to fix and adjust almost anything. Music lessons are offered, too. It's a little hidden and tucked away, but the best places are.
Sabrina: Loved them, two nice folx that know their music, got a Yamaha from them for quite a deal, came with everything

Johnson Music: what do users think?
Raphael deSouza: Great place. Good selection.
Milissa Mailloux: Grandson has been learning from them for years. Very patient teachers. Great personality
Jonathan Northridge: I came here just to pick up a 1/4" cable. The only person to help me was a woman giving lessons who clearly wanted me out of the store ASAP. I asked if she had any cheaper cables (only saw 1 brand), and she told me to leave and get it somewhere cheaper if I wanted to. So I did. This place is nothing like independent music stores should be. No wonder they are disappearing.
Manish Kumar: Please update opening hours. Visited the office in Dracut today at 5:45 PM but it was closed without any information.
Mike Z: Very friendly in a big help
Robin G: I bought a guitar and ukulele! Just in time for Christmas. I got a great deal on both!
FLORENCE THOMAS: The people are very friendly. Good place to take your kids for music lessons
Rachel Lussier: I go here for guitar and piano and I would definitely suggest it!

Tewksbury Music Center: what do users think?
Keith Murphy: Take your lessons here. Take your guitars for setups here. Great small business with top notch staff and instructors.
Ken Risher: Great selection of quality instruments. They also offer musical lessons for many different instruments as well.
Kyle: Cashier was very helpful.
Genalour: The cashier is very helpful in my quest to begin electric guitar and he is very easy on the eyes, would come again.
Robert Polcarob: Tewksbury Music took my Gibson SG I made it Leica a maestro of a guitar I am so happy it feels so professional thank you
Bill Dwyer: Nice music store! Excellent service with a smile! Lots of cool gear! It hooked us up in a pinch with what we needed! And excellent rates on guitar set ups too!
michael pelham: I was trying out guitars, playing some classical pieces. The owner turned on his radio to a jazz station to drown out my playing. Too bad that if he thought I wasn't any good, he may have been able to sell me lessons.I guess he didn't want to sell me a guitar. There are really no high quality instruments there.I saw a Stadium mandolin that was priced twice as much as I've seen in other stores. Same thing with a few other instruments.
Donald Stanley: They had just the type of guitar pick I was looking for. Nice.
Ron F: Bob (the owner) is great as well as Ryan (guitar instructor). Bought a beginner guitar there about 3 years ago and took lesson for a bit. I am an older customer so I was somewhat uncomfortable taking lessons but they made me feel at home. Brought guitar in a few times so some simple adjustments, no charge. Great place!
Gregory Salvucci: Great selection of guitars. Knowlegable and friendly staff. I'll be back!
Don Henderson: Friendly and knowledgeable
Tyler Igo: Great place, friendly people! See why they've been in business for so long.
kylie patterson: I came into the shop with a simple repair, a corroded bass jack needed to be replaced. The owner on multiple occasions ignored me as i explained the issues in favor of trying to sell me more unnecessary over priced garbage. My purchases were also very simple: Bass strings, a jack, and plate for my bass guitar. I brought my bass into the shop, the guy couldnt take off the screws for the jack saying they were "too stripped" when i took them off with ease at home. He had me buy a $5 jack and a $10 plate to go with (which is in total $1.55 on Amazon) and i bought a set of ernie ball normal slinky's for $30 (normalyl $16 on amazon) i get home and two of the screws are entirely missing and the other two were too damm big for my bass. The jack was too big to fit in the old plate, the new plate and also straight up didnt function. The only redeeming factor for this shop is the fact that the plate they gave me is solid and surprisingly fit my bass otherwise, id say the owners dont know what theyre talking about, carrying and dont know how to correctly diagnose an issue with even the most simple of problems
Dudeist Monk: Needed a decent, cheap bass to learn on and they delivered. Also great for strings, picks, repairs or whatever else you might need.
HawaiianYeti: dropped an amp off for repair, said 7-10 days and they took 3 weeks to fix it and it took even longer to get it back because the repairman "forgot to bring it in" when it was done.... horrible horrible service never use them for repairs
