We chose to do stations, which are like themed buffet tables. Everyone raved about the food. We highly recommend the Garlic and Rosemary Tri Tip Sirloin. They were also excellent in other aspects, set up, service, cake cutting, and clean up were excellent. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

The stations and cheese platers were attractive. The server came around constantly with the passed food and she also offered to get the guests drinks from the bar. Both when we were fielding quotes and then in the couple months leading up to the event as we finalized all of the details. They were also one of the cheapest options we looked at, but that did not come at the expense of quality or service. The food was excellent and we got many compliments from our guests, and their service was excellent. They had one server, Rita, who brought us food and drinks as we needed them which was really helpful to make sure we actually got to eat the delicious food! Would definitely recommend them to any engaged couples.

Victoria Szetela: Went here for Thanksgiving 2022. This was the worst meal that I have had in a long time at 60pp. The first hostess was nice. She told us where to go to be seated. The second hostess made us wait to be seated even though no one was in front of us. No one told us where the buffet was. We overheard other guests talking about it. We waited over 15 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order but she never came and some else took our drink order and then a waitress, maybe Karen, I was told that this was supposed to be our waitess, brought over our drinks. In looking at the selections available I choose mashed potatoes, corn, turkey and stuffing. The corn was cold as were the rest of my selections. Mashed potatoes were tasteless and the stuffing was beyond mushy. I wanted to try the baked haddock but a few of the pieces looked undercooked and the bread crumbs looked as though they were sprinkled on top as an afterthought. I asked my daughter if I was being unreasonable because everyone else was just gobbling up their meal and she said no as even her mac and cheese was "trash". When they brought the bill they actually thought I was going to pay a $25.00 tip, you must be crazy as I received no service. You chose to be open on a holiday so you should have at least tried to make it appetizing.

Throughout the months leading up to the event, they were responsive and helpful, coordinating with our venue to ensure the evening went off without a hitch. The food was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Their staff were the kindest I have ever encountered and were extra sweet to me (the bride) making sure I was happy and had enough to eat. Susan Hardy: Above the Clouds catered our 40th anniversary party, which turned out to be everything we hoped it would be. Dan and Silvia arrived promptly at 9am as promised, and had everything under control in our kitchen (which they left spotless at the end of the event). The food was wonderful and beautifully prepared, from appetizers to dessert (we ate a lot of dessert!), and the servers were as nice as could be. They made an effort to get to know everyone and made sure to serve second helpings of everyone's favorites.The Above the Clouds team was so easy to work with, I didn't have to worry about a thing. From our first contact until the day of the event, Silvia and Dan made sure I had everything I needed and were always so pleasant. They listened to our desires, anticipated every need and delivered a WILDLY successful event--truly perfection. Fresh shucked oysters all night, gorgeous beef sliders, rosemary infused lamb lollipops, a Mediterranean station, sumptuous desserts, and enough vegetarian dishes to satisfy our vegan and vegetarian friends and family. The perfect mix of "we are taking care of everything, go mingle" and "we will be lovely to every single one of your guests, even when they are talking to us while we are trying to create amazing food". They brought one assistant, Carole, to pass food and drinks for my party of ~30 people, and she was just fantastic. She made everyone feel immediately comfortable the moment they walked through the door, which I hadn't expected. This team goes above and beyond - they are amazingly talented, sincere, and exceeded every one of my expectations. If you are considering Above the Clouds for an event, don't hesitate.
