Kimberly Gromack: You do have to put up with a lot of things like payments not being taken and put off then expecting it the week after if going once a week for example. They don't like giving receipts because its too much work at times (not really obviously) so if you don't need a receipt then you can pay...at times.They do go above and beyond to get you admitted.Couldn't get take homes because I did not have a counselor because they constantly have a quick turnover of staff so that impacts the stability of your treatment if you are serious. I just recommend asking for a specific counselor that you find that has been there for some time. It is what you make of it, like everything else.

Sienna Beltik: The facility is at a new location as of July 2019. We, as clients, have put up with a lot in the past 5 years here. This includes changing of ownership a couple times- which prompted massive staff turnovers (including a stretch of new Clinical Directors every 6 months to a year for a few years... Each of which had their own style and barrage of changes in program rules which would just start becoming the 'norm' before the current CD left and a new, in-house, counselor with the right credentials would float up to becom the new CD & impose their own new rules.) As well as a constant revolving door of dosing nurses who lasted anywhere from training+1 week of dosing to a few months max before taking off to the other local clinic where they said the benefits was better. Consistent routine is everything in treatment and without it everything is a real mess. Finally a CD has stuck for more than a few months and now everyone pretty much knows what they can expect there daily and- feel things are more stable. We were kinda duped on some of the certainties and promises about the new facility and when we started bringing it up & pointing it out we'd get chewed out and told it was bc they just moved and it was only bc it wld take a little time for things to run as hoped. But it's now about to be 4 months in a week and there's still not enough nursing staff & windows. It's the same amount of windows open every day as it was at the old clinic, but it's so much worse bc there's about ⅓ more clients that we're admitted. So more clients, but same number of nurses...? The old clinic instituted a 4th window in the year before moving... 7 days a week at this new clinic you will never see more than 4 windows running. The big selling point on us about moving was we were gonna love it bc there was 10 windows! Well yeah it's true, they're are 10 windows, but that doesn't mean jack bc theres not ever 10,9,8,7,6, or 5 windows ever open. Not once. You can have all the windows you want, but if you don't hire and staff enough nurses- it's pointless. They looked at this place being bigger and being able to take on more clients, but they haven't made accounting for all them new clients with an appropriate amount of staff a priority. So the service you get is lacking. Now I will say they have made great strides with working on staff turnover. That was a big problem. At one point I went as long as 7 months without a counselor during the height of their staffing issues. It was perfectly fine when the clinic couldn't give me a counselor and I was bobbing around on my own but once they did give me a counselor and I missed any appt with they'd make a federal case out of it saying how "important it was that we have consistent counseling for our recovery", but that wasn't a big concern when THEY didn't have a counselor for me...the "consistent counseling". There a lot of frustrating situations like these that don't sound like a big deal, but when you're living it everyday it's very nerve-wracking. Theres a certain level of having to man/woman-up when being on the clinic here & knowing things are gonna happen often that are not right or "fair" and are even downright contradictive between the clinics expectations from you in comparison to theirs, but that's just the way this methadone clinic life thing goes... U gotta suck sh*t up and keep it moving every day and try not to let the stuff make u hostile. They will always be right and have the upper hand. Even with all this said- I, by far, think this is the better of the clinics in the Valley. I think they are def on the right path again and could only get better if they stick to treating staff well so that they stay, and keep to the rules. They're some exceptional counselors there right now... Scott, Jaime, and Matt, to name a few. The new facility is leaps and bounds better than the old facility. And methadone is a life saver for many ppl & their families so it's not all negative. I still very much recommend this clinic, I'm just giving an accurate review of some of the aspects.

Baby Angel: This place saves lives in the area and turns peoples lives around great staff and groups. They really do it for the people. i have seen this place take people off the street and work with them till they did a full 180 amazing. alot of love and support to this place and the staff. I have been to and seen other clinics and this one is amazing. I recommend this to anyone trying to get clean. alot has changed recently and alot of people are to rough and people have been going back to the street some of them do not care much at all.

They have clients preference. This issue have been going on more than than 3 years and clients are tired of this so If this place continue like this in 1more week I will be obligated to contact Oasis and the news.

zaffo314: The program can be very good however there doesn't seem to be much effort from the staff to get people to detox from methadone at any point. I mean why does someone need to be on methadone for 2 years? Especially at an extremely high dose? Some of the staff are very snotty (well 1 burse in particular) but most are nice and caring. They don't fully explain what's expected of you however. After month of being there they tell me I have to do 4-6 hours of counseling a month. Then after 2 months of being there they put me on hold until I signed up for orientation and 3 other hour long classes. Like really?

Anna Santiago: The clinic is under new management. He's changed so much the clinic , it is much better. He truly cares about the clients . Now there are some employees that definitely not be working in addiction clinic. There so rude , I have actually caught several degrading clients to each other . The head of nursing is the worst . I have heard so many complaints about her, even from staff . I really think she should b more professional.Theres presently 15 councilors, who are wonderful. They care, so if u decide to choose Habit Opco u will definitely geat the help u need .

KM KM: This company is very dysfunctional. Staff are always quitting and when they are fired it is over unprofessional decisions. Management is not professional nor do they respect the employees or patients. Patients aren't able to see counselors because they are always quitting. The company does not pay much - have to punch a time clock although you are salary and a professional and they don't pay on-time. Terrible place to work.

There has been a recent loss of counselors AND the inability to maintain new staff with the MOST COMMON C/O being gross consistent UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR from management. A substance abuse clinic is NO PLACE FOR CADDY STAFF CLIQUES. Several, far too many management issues TO MENTION ARE NEGATIVELY IMPACTING CLIENTS. Also, poor staff moral is being shared with clients. Where is UPPER MANAGEMENT??? For real now? Who is running this dog and pony show???

Jarrid Best: I entered the Phoenix House in Springfield January 2004. I walked out February 2005. It was both the longest and most important year of my life. I changed as a human being. I’m still sober. I had a relapse in 2007, but I got right back up and owned it and moved on. Been sober since. I learned so much about myself. It’s meant to be hard. In hindsight, it was life training. It taught me how to be accountable. For everything. Nothing beats laying my head down at night with a clean conscious. I got married. Bought a house. Had a child. I love being a father. I never would have accomplished so much without their guidance. Did I hate it when I was there, yes yes yes. It’s hard. They ride your behind. It saved my life.

Shaun Hinckley: This place is horrible staff and always turning issues around on the clients and can never assume responsibility for their actions. When you have a problem and bring it to their attention they find anyway possible to make it look like your fault and not theirs. And their biggest response is "you don't have to be here and can leave". I've been here for almost two weeks and they are constantly threatening clients with being kicked out. When you first get here instead of showing you how things go and what to do they put it on the other clients to do it when they are the ones getting paid to explain how everything works. If I was to recommend a program to go to this place would be the very last option. BHN has far better programs and so doesn't RECOVERY CENTERS OF AMERICAN.

Karen Shephard: I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this facility. Not COVID approved. The patients share one bathroom that was very disgusting. Waiting room was not sanitized, trash everywhere and tons of ants. The staff knew about the ants and yet no one bothered to have the room cleaned. Patients would get anxiety just being there. Rooms are in the basement, looks like a jail cell. Very dirty and staff never wore there masks.

Unfortunately I can't give the same credit to the current regime that handles psych medications. The way its been explained to me about the psych med provider is that this person may have issues with communicating with patients as far as being rude and maybe or maybe not even knowing it. Basically I'm all fu@#%d up right now because this person is playing games with my meds!!!

jojo la: I am a transfer from Right Choice. The staff at Savida made it so easy ti make the transfer. The front desk ladies were all smiling and happy to answer my questions. I sat down for 2 minutes before I was called in by Ruth the medical assistant to go over all my paperwork and take my sample. Not even a minute later I was called in by Chelsea who went quickly through my history and discussed my treatment plan...I was offered counciling which I accepted. I left there feeling great. I loved that I received a text confirming my prescriptions and an informational video to watch. My appt was at 415 and I was out the door by 450. I was a very good experience and I'm glad I love my new provider as much as I loved my last. Addiction is a hard thing to deal with in life and I left feeling like I have a great plan and am positive about my recovery!!!!

nathan mark (Gonzo): The ladies ladys at the front always great me and everyone else with a smile. As well with the rest of the office staff are always friendly and easy to work with and flexible with your needs. The providers there are compassionate and understanding to my needs, I know I'm a difficult patient. And they have worked with me threw many set backs. There counselor there is very knowledgeable and energetic and has a great ability to direct others towards there goals in recovery. It's no doubt a excellent team that works in this office. Unlike other places that a disorganized. They all work together to ensure that your health needs are met.

Anthony Vancini: This review is specifically for my encounter with Dr John Paul. It was my first time ever seeing a psychiatrist due to lack of sleep issues and overall issues with possible ADHD. I had been looking forward to meeting him because I had been suffering with the same issues since I was young. When I started to explain myself to him he was very dismissive of what I was saying. He immediately starting judging me and saying things like this isn't some handout place and treating me as if I was less of a person. At one point during the hour he even apologized saying he does understand this is a clinic and that's why he is reacting this way. I'm very sad that many people are looking for help and they are met with someone who treats them as if they are less than everyone. This year of my life has been very hard and I have lost my father which is the reason I came to this clinic for help. Katie my original doctor has helped me from the moment I went in there. She made me feel comfortable being the first time I had ever gone to a doctor for help. Unfortunately I had the opposite experience with John Paul. I will likely never see another psychiatrist again due to my time with him. Everyone else I've seen here has been awesome but this man is not nice.

Kristina Woodmansee: Place has kept me sober for over 10 yrs. Staff is super caring and helpful. Katie is my Dr. she’s AMAZING! The outpatient drug rehab part is the one I’m talking about. Only problem I had was with the psychiatry department honestly one psychiatrist John Paul. I no longer use this side of their treatment because of it. The guy writes psych prescriptions for over 700 patients he got my prescription wrong five times in a row. Scary. If that’s what you are looking for you could do what I’ve done and that is get a therapist/Psych elsewhere while using the Suboxone/Subucade side. The dr’s on that side are amazing. Hey they kept me sober for over a decade and that’s amazing. I totally recommend this place overall
