A Akanke M: I've been going to this place on and off for two years and undoubtedly they have amazing selections and pretty fair prices but it is always off putting and extremely uncomfortable with how employees lurk behind you, following intensly ( even when its a full store myself and/or friends are followed), and insisting or suggesting they hold your items At the cashier to "make it easier". I can get the precaution if I was a one time shopper but I am not...you can at least try to memorize the faces a bit or even remember my name since I get carded on and off. I was there 3 days ago had to deal with this went today again with a friend and it was worst. She felt so annoyed I just said we will start going to another one. Great place in many ways but this was too much.

The staff are extremely knowledgable and kind! I also really appreciate that they are very trans friendly and the language used on a lot of their packaging is neutral and not gendered. The aesthetic of the shop is very pleasant and it doesn't feel gross or sleazy like a lot of big brand shops do. When I was back in Mass this October, I made sure to stop in and buy some new toys. We purchase an item that when it was tested, they had a hard time getting it to work, but it finally did so we purchased it. Took said item home with great expectation but when we tried to use it, it failed so we put it back in its container.Two days later, we return to the store and explained the failure of the item, but were told that there was not return or exchange on such item. We are out almost $40.00, a ruined evening and red in the face with anger.We have purchased similar items with issues at other local store, but the store stood behind their product.Advise that you take your business to other local stores.
