John Baker: I was looking for a door striker for my Whirlpool dishwasher, and Mike found exactly what I needed, showed me the picture of it, ordered it and the part fits perfectly. Great customer service, polite and friendly. You need parts for your appliances, this is the place to go.... ask for Mike.
Kelsey D: Excellent service! Adam was immediately helpful and friendly when we initially went in to get a new fridge. The fridge was delivered quickly and professionally. When we were unwrapping the inside of the new fridge, we noticed a small crack in the lining. Mike and Adam could not have been nicer! They ordered us a replacement and it was delivered a couple of days later. 10/10 recommend!!!
Sheila Giuliano: Great customer service while you giving them your money but that all changes after the sale. The $6500 gas range that had no problem delivering stopped working after a month. Now I am out of their service area to come fix it.
Jason Demerski: My older gas dryer started having heat problems....after some research I identified what I needed to fix it and figured I'd have to special order the parts and wait for who knows how long. I called Salemi on a Saturday and they knew exactly what I needed AND had the parts on hand. I was up and running that day!

I would strongly recommend shopping local at Salemi Appliance! Great team, great store, great people! It’s also nice being able to call the owner directly should you need too, can’t do that with Home Depot, Lowe’s or any other big box stores!

Jason Wolfe: I'm a contractor and they delivered new stove onto newly finished hardwood floors and scratched. When I confronted owner, Vincent about the issue he hung up on me. I'll never deal with them again. Big box store or Salemis, take your pick, the services offered by both will be equal and less than desirable.

Mike: I wish I could say it was a good experience because Luis is actually a nice guy to chat with but he's not honest. In retrospect, his dishonesty is probably because of his desperation rather than his being a genuine thief. Nonetheless...Luis told me a gas stove I liked was ready for pick up so a friend and I traveled 21 miles to get it. Already paid my friend for his truck. He said he'd convert it from propane to natural gas. He hadn't. Didn't even tell me until I asked! (Lie #1.) Then he told me that all I'd need was to get cheap conversion pieces from Amazon and easily screw them in myself...well, the parts could only be obtained through the manufacturer and they were different from the cheap ones he described. They were $70. Not the end of the world but after watching the YouTube videos I saw that I'd have to open up the stove and do surgery. Enough already. (Thus lie #2). A plumber charged me $175. Surprize!!! Luis did come down $50 bucks. I should've asked for $100 off but I believed it when he told me that the installation was foolproof and relatively cheap. (Did he know? He must have known at least that it MIGHT turn into an expensive project.)I felt a little guilty because of the squalor of his shop and he looks to be in his 70's. (Broken toilet filled with piss and a mop. That way for at least a week. Far more disgusting than any gas station bathroom I've been in. ) He comes off warm and nice and he is. But desperate people do desperate things. He will tell you: "I'm doing this since 1996." (i.e. "trust me"). I strongly suspect that most of the 5-star "reviews" here are just Luis's friends who can write proper English. Good luck but buyer beware!

Lisa Jones: Bought both Washer and Gas Dryer (hard to find Used) about 2 months ago..wanted to wait and give review to see how they would work out..even though they aren't the same brand looks good together..nice set..good price and delivery was easy..delivery guys and owner are real polite..being new to Springfield appreciate the service and pricing in our budget..Definitely recommend at least to go and see what they have to offer..store is small they were cleaning and moving things around the day we came..hey he's a small business man and offers the community a service that is appreciated..New appliances are very expensive..
Jessica Page: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! I got a washer from Luis 3 weeks ago and was told that ALL PARTS WERE BRAND NEW. After 3 weeks the washer stopped working. I called Luis and he personally came to my house the next day with a brand new part, as if it was never fixed. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESSES HERE AGAIN. I have 4 kids and need a working washer. Obviously he is just out to scam people.
R Salinas: Place can use some organization. There are several appliances in a small store with barely any room to walk. I didn’t end up buying anything but the owner seemed to be nice.
Diana G: I bought 2 refrigerators from luis and the second one was delivered to me with lots of problems I spent $220 for a refrigerator that only lasted me 3-4 months and besides multiple calls directly to luis he still refused to replace the refrigerator and also refused to at least remove it from my apartment after I had been a gd customer he told me to scrap it cuz he couldn’t help me so I completely lost $220 NOT COOL AT ALLI WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM LUIS USED APPLIANCES

Monica Murry: Since this store is used appliances, the stock rotates frequently and it can be hit or miss. The owner is very friendly and even though he had no portable dishwashers in stock he suggested another store to check. A nice option for appliances at a discount. Sometimes he even has new appliances too.

Jason Carrasquillo: Place is no good. We’ve went through 2 fridges not working already. At first we’d call and he’d try to fix whenever it was convenient to him knowing our family has no food because it all went bad due to the fridge not working. Now that we call it’s like he knows not to answer because once again the Fridge does not work. not once but twice has a fridge from his store has been unable to last more than a month. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID this place at all cost.

Raymond Mitchell: I brought a stove control board to be fixed paid 45.00 which I thought was fair. They made me prepay in case I never came back to pick up board. It took me almost a month to get board after much aggravation and chasing down and when I got it board never worked and I never got my money back. While I was there I looked at the appliances in the store they looked very dirty.

Jorge Lopez: Extremely strange scenario. I am a prospect client who found this person through offer up app. I reached out requesting options. He asked me for my phone number. Texted me offering me an option which after two hours of ignoring told me that it wasn’t even available that day. Advised that it would be available the next day, today, and that he would reach out to me with an estimate and expectation timeframe for delivery. I reached out after 2 PM requesting an update. He did not respond back until after 4 PM telling me that he was too busy to speak with me as he was driving by proactively on the offer up app because it tells you when they are active. So he chose to ignore a prospect client after lying to them but was on offer up actively. I reached out to him again questioning why he would ignore and lie to a prospect client being a business owner which is the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard of… But at this point … too strange u ask for number lie to prospect client then ignore them the day estimate+delivery are supposed to be made….ok man take my business elsewhere. No address for business anyways.

Jo Cyr-Mutty: I highly recommend Contractors Home Appliances. I recently purchased a dishwasher and I wanted to use my current custom door. I had called Manny's first, as they are just down the street. They did not get back to me so I called Contractors Home Appliances. Lisa not only got back to me quickly but did a lot of research to help me choose a model that would be most likely to work with the custom door. I probably occupied most of her afternoon with my questions, but every time she got right back to me with a response. She also lined up Keith to do the delivery and install because he has experience with custom panels. He was also amazing. When Manny's FINALLY got back to me, they simply said that they doubted that the door transfer could be done because the door size had changed slightly on the new models. No so! I now have exactly what I wanted thanks to the time that Lisa was willing to invest and the customer service that I am sure they extend to each customer. I felt listened to and well informed. Another good reason to shop smaller, locally owned businesses. Thank you Contractors Home Appliances!
