Laura Zall: I stayed recently with my 9 year old daughter for an early morning event in the area. 2 things to comment on.At 2:30am a key to my room was given to some gentlemen. The deadbolt on our door did not work. Needless to say, I did not sleep the rest of the night. I spoke with the manager at the front desk prior to checking out. I was assured I would be refunded for my stay and given additional bonus points. This has not happened. I have called 3 times to attempt resolution. They will not call me back and it remains unresolved.The restaurant - the food that made it to our table was delicious. The bar and restaurant were nearly empty. Some food never made it to our table and the waitstaff was nowhere to be found. We sat for quite some time with empty drinks. The tomato soup was absolutely delicious and very spicy. I was sweating bullets with nothing to drink. I went to the bar to get my own drink but they had me wait for our server to bring to my table. I really wanted that soup. By the time we had drinks it was cold. . Then, getting our check, and getting my card back so we could leave was on par with the rest of the experience. We were given coupons for free continental breakfast.

Roxane Weymouth: Staff was very helpful as my room did not have enough towels or coffee for the morning. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Be aware the air conditioner is not reliable. Ours shut off in the middle of the night and the room became quite stuffy. My daughter’s did not work at all and she and her family had to change rooms. Parking is not free and is an additional charge.Nearby activities: Close to event locations.

Aurora: I'm glad they came back, it's better than the the other hotels downtown.

K IP: The renovations done to this hotel are beautiful. The amount of natural materials helps complete the ambience. But the housekeeping for the rooms was unacceptable. After being checked into multiple rooms that were barely cleaned, I settled on a room that still had hair all over the bathroom, stains on the toilet, and things thrown haphazardly around. Even if the hotel looks nice, cleanliness is paramount.
