DeCosmo Industrial Auctions: what do users think?
george giannaris: I have been doing a lot of online bidding lately. I've had nothing but exceptional personal experiences with decosmo industrial auctions. They are excellent and I always look forward to them being the auctioneers at an auction. Especially the owner Tom. He's always available to answer your questions and is very accommodating.

Caring Transitions of Hampden County: what do users think?
Jake Forsake: I was extremely pleased with Chris and her team. After living in my house for 52 years, I knew I needed help with what to keep, sell, donate and get rid of. Being able to utilize the on-line auction was a big help. Ready access to dumpsters was a plus. Moving day was on time, even despite bad weather. Moving into my new place went smoothl and on time. My family felt they did their best for me. I would recommend them. tintoanyoneanyone
Beth Rude: Moved mom to assisted living yesterday with Christina White of Caring Transitions of Hampden County. I interviewed a couple companies and they had the best price and they gave stellar service as well! Arrived on time, great team who packed and unpacked everything carefully and quickly. Settled belongings to my liking and hung wall decor and curtains too! Would choose this company again without hesitation!
Marc Dionne: Christina and team were very organized, detail-oriented, thoughtful, conscientious and professional in helping us sell and clear our mother's household property after moving her into a care facility. Highly recommended.
Judy Sarafin: The Caring Transition of Hampden County team are rock stars. They have been professional, knowledgeable & always on time. They moved my Mom into assisted living & cleared out my Mom's house. I live across the country, so it was comforting to be able to work with a company I could trust completely with this difficult work. They are the best & I would highly recommend them! THANK YOU Chris & team!
Paul Schneider: Words alone cannot express how valuable the services offered by Chris, Paul and the team at Caring Transitions of Hampden County over the past 2 years. The started by helping us sort, repurpose, donate or throw away items if necessary. They moved items into storage after purging and assisted with staging our house for sale. Amid COVID we had outdoor or online auctions run by Caring Transitions and generated income. We then relocated to a different state after vaccines, and bought a new home.Caring transitions moved items from storage and the moving truck arrived at our new home.Without these terrific hard working folks we could not have completed our relocation.By the way pricing was fair. Oh yes......they are honest and nice people as well. Meg & Paul
Barbara Bricker: My downsizing seemed complex to me with what ended up involving 3 houses. The Caring Transitions team, headed by Chris White, used their experience to focus on the step by step methods to get a resolution. Their on line auction folk were the best, displaying, photographing, posting and distributing hundreds of items.I did have a couple of glitches with the sale website. I should have called with questions as I did not understand that when a bid was made an email summary went out to the bidder. That made a sad and difficult time nearly enjoyable.
beverly kirsch: This is example of her customer service. This lady is a scam artist. Be awareThat’s fine, and none of that is true. I explained to you the break down of shipping costs, you violated our terms and conditions and you can no longer bid on auctions on CTBids. Please learn to read instructions before bidding. Buyers like you are a nuisance. You don’t understand how auctions (or shipping) works. You were given the cheapest shipping rate and refused to pay. I did absolutely nothing wrong.
Asalyn Coachman: Christina and her team did a wonderful job of cleaning out my in-laws' home. She was professional and detailed and kept me informed at all times. This was especially important because we live in another state. I would highly recommend her and her company!
Robert Tutnauer: I can’t adequately express how impressed my Family and I were with the services provided to us by Caring Transitions of Hampden County. They took care of our major move with great professionalism, great caring and great sensitivity to what could have been a most stressful process. Christina White and her team treated me and my family as if we were family. They have our highest and unqualified recommendation. Bob Tutnauer
Ron Brasher: We had a wonderful experience working with the Caring Transitions team. They came in, reviewed all of the items and we immediately set up an auction that same day. They were able to take some of the weight off of our shoulders during this difficult transition. Kudos to them for a great well done job.
Nick G: My family had a house to clear out due to a death in the family and I’d recommend Caring Transitions to anyone who needed to do the same. Christina and Paul are friendly, knowledgeable and organized. They walked us through the steps and executed it efficiently. They even adjusted for corona by mailing many items and coordinated through some delays with the dumpster company. They went above and beyond under the circumstances. The whole process was very hands off after the initial meeting and was a relief they could perform this task during a difficult time. Again, would absolutely recommend Caring Transitions to anyone who needed to use them. Thanks again!!
Jay Cruickshank: Caring Transitions was a tremendous help when my sister passed away in Springfield. All of her family had moved away from the area so we were looking for someone who could help us with her house. Caring Transitions sold or disposed of all the contents, cleaned the house thoroughly, and even put us in touch with a fantastic realtor who was very familiar with the neighborhood. Very helpful, and easy to work with.
Kelly Williams: Unreliable and unprofessional. Paid winning bidder arrived to pick up at the predetermined pick up time to find out items were sold to another bidder without notification evidently based on not responding to a reminder of pick up time text message and just arriving at said time. I bid, win and pick up items from various auction houses on a weekly basis. I guarantee I will never waste my time with Caring Transitions again.
Janet Hebert: We used Caring Transitions of Hampden County to move to our retirement community in Keene New Hampshire from Hubbardston MA. Christina and Paul were marvelous. They made the move stress free. They came on Thursday and packed everything - clothes, dishes, food, vases etc in over 20 boxes. On Friday morning movers came and took everything - boxes and furniture. On arrival in Keene they unloaded and unpacked everything and put it ALL away. We had previously determined where furniture should be placed. Everything else was put away as closely to how we had it previously. They took all the boxes away when finished we looked like we had been there for ever! It was a wonderful experience. Other people have been here for months and are still unpacking boxes!
Susan Hall: This was a wonderful company to do business with! Chris was extremely professional, helpful and efficient. She successfully and easily ( for me) conducted an online auction for the purpose of clearing things out to get our home ready to sell. We are very pleased with the results!
Amy P: My experience with Christina and her company was FAR below expectations. Her staff was friendly but poorly trained and unprofessional. My property was damaged, lost and some discarded without my permission. I was left having to pay real professionals to complete the job. I lost time at work doing much of the job on my own. I also had to re-purchase items they misplaced or for one reason or another did not get transported to my new home. I am STILL searching for items a year later since very few items were put in proper places or labeled. Christina had the audacity to sue in small claims when I insisted I would not pay full price for a job that was not only incomplete but subpar. Needless to say, the evidence I presented supporting my claims of the inadequacies of Caring Transitions, allowed me to prevail. I tried settling my complaint amicably with Christina. She is an extremely unreasonable business owner. Additionally, the movers she hired were horrendous and caused thousands of dollars in damages as well. It was the most stressful, awful moving experience imaginable. I would not recommend Caring Transitions; I would recommend full service movers instead.
sjw: i had the pleasure of working with Christina White of Caring Transitions. She patiently and with great care, attention to detail and my family's needs, got us through a very difficult time and did a fantastic and professional job. She was empathetic to our situation and handled everything perfectly. i am very grateful to her and i highly recommend this organization!

Aaron Posnik & Co.: what do users think?
Bill Martin: As the attorney for the secured lender at the auction referred to by the person who commented below, I will say without question that Paul W. Scheer of Aaron Posnik & Co. conducted the most successful auction I have ever attended. Not only was the secured lender paid in full, the second mortgagee was paid in full and there was additional surplus that was paid to the third mortgage holder. The real estate was sold well over its anticipated price and the personal property was sold for more than twice the expected amount. By adding the online bidding to the personal property sale, the number of qualified bidders was greatly increased. Aaron Posnik & Co. carefully organized the property in advance of the sale and ensured that the property was emptied and ready for delivery to the real estate purchaser in just 20 days following the sale. Take it from someone who is responsible for maximizing collateral value, Paul W. Scheer and Aaron Posnik & Co. are the best in the business.
Nathan Girard: If you enjoy being belittled as a registered bidder at an auction for a million dollar piece of real estate for asking questions then this is the company to work with. Went to an auction with an expected purchase price of north of $500k and I had three questions I asked. After the auction started the auctioneer jeered at me and said you have a lot of questions but no bids and it was completely uncalled for. I was prepared to purchase this property at well over what it sold for with the intention of using it as a cannabis grow house but the action of the auctioneer completely turned me off and I was not going to be responsible to pay a 6% buyers premium to this auctioneer. Do not hire this company if you are a bank to sell your property. This guy is callous for no reason.
Isaac Clark: I've only been to one of their auctions so far but they were friendly, helpful, and honest. No complaints.

Golden Gavel Auctions LLC: what do users think?
Kara Phadael: I love this auction. I have been going for years and really missed it during Covid. Now that they're back, I'm actually working there. I have bought items for resale and for my own home. In fact, in my living room and dining room every piece of furniture in their camefrom golden gavel. The only thingthat didn't was the TV. They always have really nice pieces, however if you are looking for something specific, you may have to come a few times. All in all, this is my absolute favorite auction.
Francisco Garay: Amazing place can always find good things at a good price
Bill Perkins: Good auction , great auctioneer! Absolutly great time. Great food.
Carol Moser: I have been waiting to get paid for for my lot for 4 months.Keep getting the run around.
Jennifer Lacy: Great finds!
Lynn C: Always something new. Always something to look forward to.And Always a fun night
Cynthia Potter: I love this auction, but I do not want more people coming as bidding competition! Lol, but seriously. The new owners are great! They are modernizing things and there are always nice things to add to my collections.
Matthew Burns: Bought a box of a dozen Avon colognes for $10, all in great condition.
Faith Hart: Like it here a lot. Owner is very nice. People buying here are very competitive. They can drive an item up for selfish reasons. There certainly is plenty for everyone and then some. Dealers let's share a little more
Good Ole Tom _: It was OK. I didn't see anything I wanted to bid on. Some people seemed to really like it though. Might have been better if I found something for me.
Manny Sergentakis: Best auction house in CT. Don't tell too many people in case you're outbid. Lol.
Amanda Moreau: Told my grandfather that they would get my aunt's house ready for sale. Charged him $2500, there were still dog toys under the radiator along with a spoon you could see a mile away. The house still needs to be cleaned. They're not worth your time and money.
Lynnette B: One of my favorite places to go!!
Edward O'Brien, Jr.: The greatest place to go. People are very nice and helpful.
Robert Bocash: Better when online
Victoria Gambill: Y'all I'm so emotional right now. The Golden Gavel Jewelry Repair and Design did an amazing job fixing my ring today. It looks like a brand new ring. So many emotions going through me right now. This ring was given to me by my mother years ago. It had gotten stolen from my apt in 2006. We found it 12 years later at cashland of portsmouth. I was so happy to have found it. But then the diamond fell out and it's been sitting for two years. Well today I had an appt at 1230 to see if it could be fixed. Not only could he fix it. But it only costed me $60. I figured it would cost so much more. And he got it fixed within an hour. I'm so thankful to have this prize possession back and fully restore. I fully recommend this guy to fix any jewelry you may have. This is the place to take it. He is very respectful, trustworthy, and professional. And his work definitely speaks for itself. One happy customer here!!
Laura Nazlian: Great place to find and sell. There are all kinds of great things there from music equipment to household to fun. Great staff! Love to poke around and shop there. Spears something new...
Lady Tiger: A variety of products. Love the staff
david e: Nice people, but their business is predicated on doing shipping with literally the worst UPS store I've ever worked with; UPS in Enfield, CT. I cannot recommend buying anything from Golden Gavel if you need the item to be shipped because it'll take at least 6 weeks, the item may arrive damaged (I've already had 2 arrive broken), and you'll spend way too much on shipping than you expect. It's really unfortunate that they don't do their own shipping, or at least work with a reputable shipping company/store.
Ifihadda Nikkel: Hit or miss auction. When they are on, they are on.
Debbie Ashworth: The people are friendly but I do feel like they get such a bigger percentage of your sale not always making it worth it and we also had told them anything that didn’t sell we wanted back and after the sale they knew what hadn’t sold, but now can’t find our items
