Stephanie Lopes: The worst experience ever. The lab was so unprofessional. I needed a specific test done for school or else my internship would get cancelled and surprise the lab forgot to perform the test which I had travelled an hour and twenty minutes for. Then I called them and told them my situation and the first person said the results I needed were in and they'd fax them over to my school (I confirmed the results that I needed) and he still sent over the wrong results to my school. I called again and turns out the lab made a mistake and never performed the test. THEY WERE SO UNSYMPATHETIC with my situation. and now all thanks to their mess up my internship will be getting cancelled. They basically said "oh well, we cant do anything about that" Do not come here, I have only heard of bad experiences.

Charles Bliss: I went in for a blood test requested by my doctor. I went in as soon as I arrived and took my test. The lab tech was curtious and did a quick and painless job.
Mary Howes: I've been to baystate reference labs plenty of times in the past year without giving my licence to the reception lady to keep until my bloods drawn. Not only was the reception lady incredibly rude about this but she also informed me id have to wait 20+ mins to be called while my newborn son is with me and crying non stop. All this waiting is because she can't look up my order and fill out the lab form in a timely manner. Then i get to go wait in another waiting room for longer. Other people in the waiting room were also complaining. Seriously get less cranky reception people that aren't snail slow. I know plenty of people looking for work that actually want to work and can provide good customer service.

Kim: My father is a patient here and had multiple bad experiences. First he had the wrong blood work drawn even though the order was sent from his doctor’s office. Then when he went back with a paper requisition, the woman (happened to be the same woman as before) again tried to draw the same thing she drew before even though he gave her the paper. Then, he told her not to draw from his left arm and she still proceeded to attempt and kept sticking the needles farther in even after he said it hurt. She finally took the needed out and drew on his right arm that he told her to draw from in the first place. She shouldn’t be allowed to work with people especially drawing their blood.

profepte: Aquí vas a realizar estudios de laboratorio, rayos x o laboratorio pulmonar estás citado. Tiene estacionamiento amplio. También de impedidos. Queda primer piso, en la entrada hay una persona que te ayuda con una tablet antes de entrar te anota y ya adentro te llamarán si necesitas update tu información personal. Te quedas sala espera dónde hay espacio entre sillas con distanciamiento, y rápido te llaman a realizar el estudio. Cita por horas, llamada a la hora y atención muy profesional, buena comunicación clara y precisa, cuidado de higiene y protección. Te hacen la prueba te explica que hacer, como hacerlo y como será el examen, luego terminado te dice que tú Dr te llamará o cita ect para recibir resultados. Te acompañe a la salida y fue tan rápido que no estube solo 1 hora allí. Lo recomiendo. Muy limpio, sanitarios, elevadores, cafetería y el bus público te deja frente del edificio. Fácil ascesibles y muy profesional.

Kylie: Went in on 2/16/23 and around 1:30pm the receptionist was dealing with a couple who had a service puppy in training. The service puppy had a vest on and a collar and was being held. The way the receptionist handled it was very weird. The couple asked her a question and she said "Well what we're going to do here about the dog is...", around those lines. You would think someone who works at a hospital knows what a service dog looks like and knows it's illegal to deny entry of a service animal and ask what it's for. The poor women had to explain what the puppy was there for when clearly it had a service vest. Made me extremely uncomfortable at a hospital.

lisa alekna: I've been utilizing Baystate Reference Labs for several years now. I have used the lab at Noble Hospital which is close to my home, and also the one at 3300 Main St. in Springfield, where I have several providers. They have always been able to get me in very quickly, no long waits. The staff is very kind and very efficient. Often sticks are completely painless! Even over the past 2 years with so many changes and stressors due to Covid, they have always had a ready smile and always provided good service!
Isa Traverso: Gregory in the phlebotomy side made my day with his kindness and going above and beyond because my lab orders were not in. His patience mattered to me. The whole staff were caring and the lady checking people before entering radiology is superb.

Mary Ann Argiro: Yes it gets crowded at this location at times and with such a small space it doesn't take much. Its too bad they cant post a busy time chart, like some ER's and Urgent Care facilities do, so people might spread themselves out. Their IT Department could use much better tools and do a much better job with the portal. Otherwise, staff seems pretty efficient. The problems I have with Baystate are usually bureaucratic decisions that come from management, like not being able to switch doctors when the one assigned to you is not a match, not providing good care or a general indifference which I am sorry to say is not uncommon in the medical profession at large, not just Baystate and not just post covid. Yes, I am commenting outside the scope of this location. But it has to be said.
Jay Douglas: Such a wonderful, upbeat and very caring staff there. Been going there for years and not once have I had any issues
Edward Veto: Need to increase staff at this location. Upon arrival there were 9 people waiting to be seen. Turn around was approximately one patient per 10 minutes. Some patients had to wait in hallway as waiting room and available seating was full.
