Have never used the machines before and it showed…jammed several times. Thank goodness a lady walked in and said there is a bottle return on Pierson in Windsor (that I literally drive by every day) lol…💡goes off and I stack them back in the car (I’ll tell that comical story some other time)…arrive and when I tell you this system is the best thing since sliced bread…i actually had fun dumping my cans and bottles…less than 5 minutes…cash and carry…great help! It’s a five for me!

Don't Ask: You have to go on a weekday and get there super early. Staff could use some customer experience training. Not sure if they give 5 cents on 8 oz cans or if they just keep them.

L Mitrook: First time at this recycling center. Staff were busy but very quick to help!!! Well organized. With over 400 bottles/cans it would have taken me "forever" inserting them one-by-one into recycle machines at local stores. At this redemption center, I was done in under 15 minutes! Highly recommend!

I had three large contractor bags of cans and plastic (which need to be separated beforehand FYI) and it took me 10 minutes for 550 total. The gentlemen who were working there are super helpful as it was my first time there. It’s not the cleanest place but they’re dealing with your filthy returnables. It was a great experience

G L: Update: was there this weekend, was asked to separate plastic by brand again, which is not stated on the website or any of the signs. The whole point of me coming to a redemption center like this is so that I don’t have to do this kind of sorting. I am considering taking my bottles elsewhere.Fast service with 3 sorting machines at this location. I suggest separating cans, plastic bottles, glass and 2L before arriving. The machines won't count 2L bottles, you have to manually count these. You can pre-count your returnables in clear plastic bags. Glass bottles need to be in cardboard boxes. They accept cans from microbreweries. The website is very clear on what to expect.Not sure why I have to separate my plastics further (water bottles and sodas). I didn't have to do this at the south windsor location. Workers are friendly and helpful.
