Cyn R: Food was AMAZING! Decor is sweet- cantina like. Walked in and was hit with the amazing aromas of what they were cooking. I was greeted by whom I believe was the owner and said I want whatever smelled so good so she ordered that for us. Steak, chicken, veggies, rice, and black beans. We don't like spicy and they were able to accommodate. All the FLAVOR, no heat. The steak was tender and had a delicious grilled flavor. The chicken was moist, perfectly seasoned and also had that amazing grilled flavor. The beans rice and veggies had their own personalities that rounded out the meal. Two of us ate our fill with a little bit left over and with tip, it cost us $35. I don't know where else to get such amazing food at that price. If you're a foodie, you need to check this place out! They have their own parking. Sorry for the less then pristine picture of the food. We were starving and it wasn't until I took the first bite or so that I realized I hadn't taken a picture. :)

Nelson Carreira: Been coming here since it opened at original location. Price has almost tripled but I don't mind because it is good. Today I ordered a spicy chicken with no spice. My $26 chicken was so small it hardly fed me let alone my daughter. New owner trying to make money and cut corners. Ain't no portuguese people paying 26 bucks for a chicken that small.

The Glue Gunner: I have been to many places with fried chicken before, and this place’s chicken was easily one of the best.The amount of breading and seasoning was on point, and the fries were quite crispy and had the perfect amount of salt on them. The portions were perfect for my meal, which was chicken tender meal. And just for kicks I decided to grab a steak meal to try out, and I was left deciding whether I enjoyed the steak more, or the tenders more. The steak was very easy to eat, perfectly cooked, and tasted amazing. The timing and flow of this restaurant was smooth, and I would love to see it grow and become more popular in the future.

Then u get ask what drinks u will like without even looking at menu. 😑 anyways we pay and we get water for drinks. We get the food an oh boy!! They need a new chef because the food was disgusting. It was cold & it definitely wasn’t fresh. the selection was blah 😕 I couldn’t believe we drove two hours away for some stale food, no labels on cart describing food! the bartender i show him a drink i seen on there website an he says he doesn’t know if he can make that! After that decided not to even order.. on our way home we started feeling nauseous and our body temperature was rising. Like more if we had food poisoning or something! I can keep going, but point is save your money my daughter, her friend & my sister & I. was highly disappointed! First & last time to this place!

Carlos Lopez: Was on interstate 90, looking for either a self serve or buffet place and stumbled upon this place. First time experience a spanish (mainly Caribbean/Dominican) food buffet and absolutely loved it). It was located in the plaza off the highway with ample parking.Unlike most buffets, you paid beforehand and they would seat you (24 per person) which included the drink. You then got to pick the food you wanted. The food had most of your traditional Caribbean options (peniel, pabo, pollo guisado, pollo frito, pollo del horno, fried fish, arroz blanco, arroz con habichuela, and so much more (couldnt remember everything) plus tropical based drinks like chinola or tamarindo drink, they also had a bar, pastry section and some ice cream. Certain things you had to request because of freshness. At the end the waiters asked for constructive feedback which was a pleasant surprise.

Katrina Truax: Yesterday, we drove 2 hours just to come here to this buffet and eat. For the price they charged, $20 per person, I expected the experience to be better. Most of the food was good, but i would say 90% of the food was not labeled. There were multiple pans of the same items and a few empty plans.The service sucked! We were there for a little over an hour and not once did our server check on us!. We had to flag down our server for extra napkins which took her over 10 minutes to even bring them to us and only brought us 2 extra napkins.Our empty plates were never taken away, just piled up on our table. Never asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks. The staff were too busy standing around talking among each other instead of working.Won't be making another 2 hour drive just for this place again. 😔
