Jeffrey Goulet: Not my regular place to shop. I usually shop at my locally owned grocery store. However, when looking for something specific and a little off the beaten path - Rack of Lamb - Stop & Shop came thru for the win. Saved a special dinner I was planning.
Janis Tatro: Never been in it before, but driving by, and needed to get things for supper. This store is sooo clean, bright, no bad smells. People were so friendly, helped me find things. The meat lady, stopped what she was doing, went out back and got me jumbo chicken wings. They were perfect!!( except for the price). Bought 3/ 12 wing package. If I lived closer, that would be my store

Thomas Fortini: Why is experience here so much better classier higher end than the Stop & Shop on Boston Road.I've been a customer of the Boston Road Stop & Shop for more than 10 years. Every now and then I come to this Stop and Shop on Cooley. It's just so much nicer, cleaner, there's more staff, their carts aren't complete _ _ _ _. They have three cashier registers open and the booth of auto machines. It is a rare day when we have two cashiers in Springfield Boston Road. Three would be Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Clean, organized, most employees are friendly, fast and easy grocery pickup.For online grocery orders I typically get everything I ordered with minimal or good substitutions. Picking up is easy and usually pretty quick and the employees are ALWAYS so kind.Self checkout typically has all or most open. Every once in a while we'll get an employee in self checkout who will ignore you and/or the "help" call from the machine.Lines for regular checkout usually aren't bad at the times I go(weekday mornings) and there is always multiple open.Bathrooms are pretty clean and the store as a whole is usually clean and well stocked.

Chris Kibbe: Wanted to let you know that I had the privilege of having Joshua-Mark as my cashier. I've given keynotes to various retailers internationally on how to provide outstanding guest experience, and this gentleman is among the very best I've seen. Way to go Joshua-Mark!I want to add that the entire store seems very happy and helpful. I had the chance to speak with manager, Michael, and mentioned to him you can always spot a great manager by how his staff presents themselves. He is doing an extraordinary job at this location.

The place is empty, it looks as if they are have a very hard time keeping up with demand. - 2/10/2023 adding to my original review, I don't know what's stop& shop is doing to try to make my experience better but I just walked in there to try to get two items that I forgot and there are lines down the aisles to get out. It's been like this a lot lately. I stopped going to Walmart for groceries. For this reason they just don't care about you is what it feels like they want the self checkouts to do the majority of the work, which means that you're doing the majority of the work while there is barely any other registers open if any at all sometimes. I used to love this place. It was always my go-to not anymore.
Kelly Higgins: Walking down the aisle and seeing the perfectly stacked cans of dog food made me know I was in a real, first quality supermarket. Stop and Shop has variety and service beyond compare. The store is clean and comfortable. I got what I needed and used a cashier to check out. Yes, a real human being who was pleasant and efficient.

Fernando Catala: Stop & Shop is great but I only gave it four stars because when you go there and it's a full house they only have two cashiers. I wish they'll have an extra one when they see a full don't wait too long to open up another cashier just open it up other than that people are helpful they're great and I'm proud to call that my Stop & Shop.

holly Bruso: OK grocery store. They never have enough cashiers and the store could use a good cleaning. It as not nearly as nice as other stop and shops in the area.

Ashley Graham: Although it’s a bit pricey, I do like shopping here. They are always stocked and clean. You can find nice brands and rare fruit, and they have a nice bakery section. The only downside is there’s only ever 1 or 2 employees checkout lines and then the small self checkout lines which always have issues so you’re constantly asking an associate for help. The lines are always long and an easy 10 min trip may turn into 25.

Jean Dowd: I am actually a converted loyal Big Y customer. Stop and Shop has a wide selection of items that other grocery stores do not carry. I am finding that their prices are better than most grocery stores in my area. The staff is also really helpful and knowledgeable abt the items they have available.

Stefanie Davis: Arrived at the west Springfield stop and shop location 15 minutes prior to closing (which I admit is an inconvenience) but why say the store closes at 10 PM to then deny service and lock the doors to customers that arrive prior to the closing time? I also find it convenient that I’ve only noticed the owner respond to positive reviews and not acknowledge the poor ones. I will not be back.

Melody Cryderman: They no longer have any cashiers and their self check out machines are absolutely horrible. Even if you scan it properly, it will count the item, know what it is, but list it as wrongly scanned and then the one employee they pay to watch over 8 self checks is cued to watch a video to ensure you didn’t steal, although it literally just was scanned and counted and placed in the bagging area. On top of it practically framing you although it counted the item you scanned the selection in comparison to other stop n shops is not great. Overall this place won’t be getting my business and I’m really disappointed in stop n shop for not actually hiring real employees that aren’t programmed to discriminate.
