Maryalnna Askins: So I will say we love big y But not today we went to Allen and Cooley store to get the fish fry family meal and asked for two extra fish we usually go to the East Longmeadow store but anyway we'll use the store today my husband brought it home and the fishwe could not even pick ucompletely apart when you pick up a piece they were the smallest pieces I've ever seen we didn't get the family coleslaw we got two individual ones and the french fries were barely cooked very disappointed with this store tryed to call them but phone just keep ringing we usually go to East Longmeadow store where I've never been disappointed well thanks for listening I would of had my husband bring it back but it's way to cold to go back out and wait to have dinner Enjoy your weekend A loyal big Y customer

Mickey Grybko: Big Y in Hadley...bought a rotisserie chicken, it was WAY under-cooked, and went the following day to address the problem (oh, I was refunded my purchase price) but the explanation I got from the Customer Service Rep was: "sometimes it's cooked, sometimes it's not, that's the way it goes" I would expect MORE from a Family-Business...luckily nobody ate it.

And about 15 other cuss words. All management did was give me a 25 $ gift card they refused to call the police for me and tho he walked out supposedly giving his 2 week notice I’ve been informed by neighbors he still works there. I’ll never spend another dime in the big y.

Judi Judge: when i try to ask a question they only alow you so many words and cut you off thats not fair .we senors love shopping at big y but think its not right you cant get good deals without apps .first of all we dont know how to do apps and also most of us cant afford a smart phone so we are out of luck . we have been shopping there for many years and its not right anyone with a silver card should be able to get the deals . seniors have a hard time surving as it is we dont understand or know anyhting about apps we dont even have .give the deal to anyoen who has a card its only fair

Diane Cooper: your bottle return machine is not taking crook and marker organic cans which are sold there and i have paid a deposit on. this has been going on for months. so i brought my cans inside where i was told we do not sell this. after i took the product of the shelf, the clerk still told me we dont sell the one i brought back which you do. i told her to call a manager who told her we do sell that one. then i was told cans were not to be brought into store. this has been going on for month, the manager said this one time only i will let them take it at courtesy desk. what am i suppost to do? first the clerk is telling me she is only doing her job by arguing with me and not checking to see if you do sell the product. then the manager tells me just this one time only we will take them for you. i feel buying them here is not worth the hassle i been going through for months.

The meat lady, stopped what she was doing, went out back and got me jumbo chicken wings. They were perfect!!( except for the price). Bought 3/ 12 wing package. If I lived closer, that would be my store

Thomas Fortini: Why is experience here so much better classier higher end than the Stop & Shop on Boston Road.I've been a customer of the Boston Road Stop & Shop for more than 10 years. Every now and then I come to this Stop and Shop on Cooley. It's just so much nicer, cleaner, there's more staff, their carts aren't complete _ _ _ _. They have three cashier registers open and the booth of auto machines. It is a rare day when we have two cashiers in Springfield Boston Road. Three would be Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Clean, organized, most employees are friendly, fast and easy grocery pickup.For online grocery orders I typically get everything I ordered with minimal or good substitutions. Picking up is easy and usually pretty quick and the employees are ALWAYS so kind.Self checkout typically has all or most open. Every once in a while we'll get an employee in self checkout who will ignore you and/or the "help" call from the machine.Lines for regular checkout usually aren't bad at the times I go(weekday mornings) and there is always multiple open.Bathrooms are pretty clean and the store as a whole is usually clean and well stocked.
