Frank Howard: The commodore has held the position much too long and has become very hateful person.when he used monthly bulletin to bad mouth a former member, I complained to the board. They terminated my membership no reason given.I was a member for 44 years
Frank Perez: We had a great time at the club. Friends have a slip there we went out on the river and had a great day. Then the downpour came in but it was great. We sat down later with other members of the club and had a pot luck community meal. Which made for a great time and great food.

Monty Gada: Lovely experience kayaking on Nashawannuck Pond. We spotted the resident Blue Heron sunbathing on the downed trees along the shore, got to hang out with it for a bit and watched it majestically take flight! Lots of different bird species flying around as we made our way slowly up and down the pond. We kayaked for 2 hours which was more than enough time to travel the pond, in fact we ended up taking a second round just to kill more time. It was easy to reserve our tandem kayak as Katie is quick to respond, pleasant and welcoming. One disappointment was that she didn't have any dry bags to lend us so I decided not to bring my phone to prevent any water mishaps! We will definitely go back, great time 👍

CINDY: I used to fish with my Pepe all the time 45 years ago. WOW...so much has changed! Nicely up grated and so much more to offer. I am a native to Easthampton. My home town that's fondly remember. People were small town friendly and everyone knew just about everyone.
Melissa Corneliuson-Barnes: We rented a kayak since everyone in my group didn't have one. 20 minutes in the water the kayak starts taking on water. Water was coming through screws. I had to pull it out on the other side of the pond and get someone to bring my truck to pick me up. By the time I got back to the kayak stand, my hour was almost up. I told the girl who was running the place and she just said she would give me a 10% off coupon for my next rental. Really!! Lost almost the entire hour and couldn't paddle with everyone else and she was flippant with me. Really ruined the paddle.

Danny Colon: My first time kayaking and I did good! Definitely this is fun, and a bit of a work out. For a single seat kayak is $15 for 1 hour, if you don't know how to swim like me they provide a life jacket. I managed to see a bird but can't identify it (it had web feet like a geese and was more or less 3' tall). I don't know if the paddle they provided was damaged that as I paddled drops of water would jump in kayak and soak my pants. I had to return to dock and let go of my smart phone and stuff to prevent losing them. There's plenty of space to park too.

Gilberto Otero: Park is in shambles. Another waterfront abandoned by the city of springfield. You will find homeless people sleeping in their cars and tents. Fenced off areas. Stay away.

Tim Reed: Jack went above and beyond all three times the I used his equipment. He is one of those people that you instantly like. His wealth of experience lends to giving great advice and he would check conditions in advance to make sure the route you are going is the best.
CinCoEnTodo (Cinthia Cotto): Jack is well experienced with the river, including the CT River, the conditions, and access points. Personable, friendly and professional. I went out with my granddaughter and the winds picked up; he picked us up prior to reaching our destination. Everything went well. Rates are reasonable considering it's not hourly which allows you to enjoy the purpose you rented to begin with... i.e. to be on the water and enjoy nature.
Ruby: The guide and owner was very laidback and welcoming. We made great conversation with him while he drove us up to our starting point on the river. The experience was very calm, no rapids, just very slow moving water and a peaceful scenery. Loved the experience!
Brian Lussier: Had an amazing day on Farmington River yesterday with my friend. We had the perfect weather. We saw 4 bald eagles, a blue heron, a turtle, an egret, and a lot of highlighter blue dragonflies.The person who helped me with my rental was so chill and laid back which is the mentality you should have going onto the river. They don’t have a lot of staff it was actually just him that day and he also does drop offs down the river. So go with a laid back mentality, don’t be upset if you have to chill by the river for a bit while waiting for a kayak, take your time and enjoy the beauty.They take cash, Venmo, and cash app for payment and it’s only $35 for the whole day. I’ll be going back often and recommending to all my family and friends.

Gilberto Otero: Absolutely simple but great. Easy access to kayaks and canoes. Farmington river and Connecticut river. Small humble family buisness with a wonderful attitude and vibe. Their little boy is adorable. Can find them down by the boat ramp and parking. Shuttled up river and you cruise down a few hours depending which route you take. So easy and fun. You definitely cant beat the price. I highly recommend you come check them out on any nice day to get on the water with no hassle.
Randy Galetta: Great relaxing canoe ride down the farmington River. We were lucky to see 2 bald eagles along the shoreline in the trees above us. We will return again to kayak down to the CT River and down to Hartford.

Arnab Purkayastha: Very nice experience! Decent kayaking length and multiple options for both beginners as well as experts. There is plenty of things to do for nature lovers and if you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of the blue herons as well! The service is owned by a small family who are all fantastic fun people to work with. Starting from booking the reservations to giving us directions to arranging everything, all went smooth. Travis is a pretty chill guy who is passionate about his job and very helpful and responsible. Just a couple of things to keep in mind- the place has a restroom which closes pretty soon and there are no changing rooms so it’s better to come prepared.
kyara linares: Had a great experience!! It was my first time ever being on a kayak and Jack was very friendly and welcoming. He went over the basics of paddling and how to stay safe. Will definitely be returning. Also, it is beautiful and peaceful on the water.

We chose the farmington river so it took about two and a half hours to get back to where we started but it was such a scenic view.I plan to go again because of how great the experience was
