Marisabel Santiago: This beautiful space offer such an amazing collection of books and art! Ms.Zee was so sweet and I appreciate her presence in the shop so much. I recommend this bookstore without a doubt! They carry so many different genres and you can also order with them!

Anika Nailah: This spot is a place you have to visit to truly appreciate. Owner, Zee Johnson, welcomes you in and it is home. I LOVE her! You will find all kinds of treasures of African American history, philosophy, literature, etc, in addition to irresistible knick knacks, all reasonably priced. And if you can't find something, Zee will order it. Olive Tree is an outstanding business that keeps us going with pride and love. I hope it remains an institution in our community for many years to come.

Ali H: Great WiFi, comfy chairs, plenty of tables in the Café. Great place to study, read, and enjoy a nosh from the Starbucks Cafe. Friendly staff, super clean, and a wide selection of books, toys, and games. If you're considering bringing electronics that need plugging in, bring a powerstrip to more easily share the few that are available.

Ashley Carvalho: My friends and i just wanted some thinking putty so we went the barnes and nobles. We found a bucket of them we we sat down and laid it out on the floor to see what kind of putty it was, immediately to workers walk by us giving the eye. Then this lady who i assumed was the manager walked over and rudely asked us what we were doing, we politely said “we are looking at the types of putty” the she proceeded to point at a random piece of plastic and say “yeah well don’t open it.” and we were like “oh no we aren’t” and she rolled her eyes and walked away. after that we just left empty handed bc we felt disrespected and profiled for being teenage girls.
