anthony edwards: Gas prices and food at all time highs, people are in poverty struggling to live, and the City of Springfield thinks now is a good time to boot cars? If someone can barley afford gas to get to work how possibly can they afford the $400. Extortion fee. If you don't have the money within 24 they tow your car, charging more fees daily. We won't even mention that we are charged tax for cars we already paid tax on. Things need to change.
William Baker: It's City Hall. You can pay your taxes, get a birth certificate or marriage license, send a letter to your local elected officials and conduct any other city related business. The building is beautiful with old architecture.

Helen Hillman: I was trying to vote today and I had the worse experience. I went to city hall to vote and they gave me a location to vote that was across a busy intersection and of course it’s not easy to get across to 309 chestnut during rush hour not that the building was actually on chestnut street. So if you are walking this is very confusing to individuals who have never voted at this site in the past. They of course never told me the building was hidden behind the old YMCA either. This is so crazy and unbelievably annoying.

Dennis Parent: I came here for the first time with my mom. To pay the water bill and other bills as well. This place is small and has many offices inside. The parking lot is big with handicap parking. I am not sure if they have handicap entrance. The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. The floors were clean, the offices were clean as well. When we walked in there was a table with different stuff on it. Also a few stairs.

Nicole Couture: Went at about 12:30 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021 to pay my excise taxes on my car. I've never been to the city hall in chicopee before as I just recently moved here. When I walked in I was unaware that I had to sign in, again as I've never been here because I just recently moved here. So the guy sitting at the front desk with the sign in sheet by the door got extremely rude and told me I couldn't just walk through I have to sign in so I said okay that's fine sorry I didn't know at which point he said everyone knows that and I said I've never been here before so I didn't. He asked if my boyfriend had to coke with me I said no he didn't HAVE to but I would like him to come with me, at which point he said we'll you're pretty safe here. I said I understand that I'm safe here but I still would like if he could come with me at which point he then said "whatever suits your fancy miss"... I wanted him to come with me because I have anxiety going anywhere new alone and talking to anyone I don't know. Not because I think I'm fancy and get special privileges. Honestly left crying and it takes a lot to stress me out to that point. Didn't even get to pay my bill after I went out of my way to go there and do that. He also yelled at me when I ran out crying because I'm just not dealing with anyone being rude to me for no reason because I'm trying to pay my bill.
