Someone hacked my card and took money from my account and i reported and still no answer why i was denied when my money should have been secured in your bank. After that i closed my account for 14 years that I was banking with them just to tell me that is not their fault.Horrible customer service. Make sure you check your account daily because they are not responsible for whatever happens.

Robert Hall: Horrible bank, horrible experience starting a loan and opening a simple account, horrible website, long hold times… when I got my loan I was going to do all my banking at Freedom so I didn’t have to manage a separate account. I’m extremely glad I didn’t do that. Nasty attitude on so many people I spoke to when I explained my frustrations.

M Nolee: Customers of Freedom credit union..Alert Alert..I answered a email that was a scam..they took 123 out of my account charging Google games. I got a call from Freedom credit union call center asking if the charges were fraudulent I said YES!!..I called the bank the next day to file a dispute and to get my money back. Google denied the claim bc they didn't see any error they went and looked at my account but obviously they couldn't see anything 🙄. Well obviously you can't I didn't authorize the chargesI talked to Freedom credit union to ask for help. They gave me provisional credit but the investigation was not final yet..today they sent me a letter saying we could not find any error and we will take the money back that you were scammed from because you PARTICIPATED IN By giving them your information. Are you serious 😐..the whole reason of being scammed is you think u can trust them and when you realize they are liars...the bank is supposed to protect and help from this. OBVIOUSLY NOT FREEDOM CREDIT UNION IM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THEM AND HOW THEY HAVE THERE CONTRACT WITH MASTERCARD BC I WANTED TO APPEAL AND THEY SAID I CANT AND THEY HAD THE FINAL WORD! THE LADY THAT I SPOKE TOO I WAS LIKE O GUESS YOU ARE FINE LOSING CUSTOMERS BC SHE JUST SAID SRY MAAM AND ENDED CALL. I SUGGEST YOU BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BANK!!!!!
Jason S.: With them for years, they denied my small auto loan of $10k(With 3k down) because of some unpaid student loans from a discredited school that lost a lawsuit with the state, and the DOE is in the process of forgiving and removing from my credit history. They didnt even talk to me about my situation, just denied me. Everything else on my credit is perfect. And credit unions are supposed to work with you the most. Dont want their business anymore even if they had a change of heart.

Lisa Ashcraft: I was interested in a HELOC but had just been denied a refinance from another bank due to some renovations in-process at my home. I CALLED to ask about their qualifying criteria and was told I had to fill out an application online before someone could speak with me. I filled out the application, but paused when it came to the credit check authorization. I had to check the box (or else you can not submit), but I added in the notes of the application that they did NOT have my permission to pull my credit without FIRST reviewing my appraisal report and letting me know if I met criteria for their financing. I reassured them in the note at the bottom of their application form that my credit score is not in question. In fact, I logged into my credit karma app RIGHT THEN so I could give a current reference... well wouldn't you know it, when I logged in to the app, I saw that they had ALREADY done a hard credit pull!! BEFORE I HAD EVEN HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON ON THE APPLICATION!!! Since I had not hit submit yet, I went on in my note to describe what I had just discovered and that I was very upset about it. I very clearly wrote that if I did not meet criteria for financing due to the condition of my home that I would be expecting them to retract the hard credit pull since I had NOT authorized it in the first place... Fast forward 2 months of jumping through hoops and wasted time and don't you know, I was DENIED financing because of property condition/appraisal issues (I have $100k in equity, it's just that some things weren't up to code... I was trying to get financing to bring it up to code... so pretty much I'm SOL). They now refuse to honor that I did not actually give them permission to pull my credit, they refuse to change the hard pull to a soft pull or retract it completely, which was what I explicitly wrote in my application. Apparently they do not actually READ the applications. Considering how clear I was about authorization and also how easy of a fix it is for them to simply correct this matter with the credit bureaus, I am disappointed in their lack of accountability and tone deafness to my request to simply honor what was clearly in writing. After 2 weeks of asking and waiting and the issue getting passed up the chain, the answer was still, "No, we will not be retracting the credit pull because you checked the box. You should have called to ask your question"... Wow...Now I have to waste my energy filing a dispute with the credit bureau and the BBB. What a waste of everyone's time... shake my head...

I’ll pay the extra dollar and save on random account fees also known as “glitches” to them, and for experienced and knowledgeable staff.*** Remember a .25-.5% difference of loan rates is only saving you pennies!Save yourself and RUN!

l vega: There is lack of communication indefinitely, undertrained staff, short staffed all year around, they don't respond to your calls or emails and say, "they will get back to you". You cannot speak to a loan officer without an appointment. It seems as if only one employee knows how to do anything besides transactions. They place holds on federal checks, the atm is always breaking down. Thanks but no thanks.

Eliezer Perez: I've been a member here for over 5 years, and for the last two years I haven't been able to reach anyone when I call. Their operation hours are terrible, and it's hard for anyone who works first shift to get to the bank because they close at 4pm during the week. They're only open 9am-12pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. If that's the case at least have a good customer service phone line that members can rely on. I leave voicemails to the loan department and member services, but no one ever returns your phone call. It's really giving bare minimum effort on their end.

Many times I have asked questions about banking process that should be native to the organization and time in and out I have been passed bad information. If you have the ability, take your money elsewhere. I will be pulling mine out and using my Navy Federal account. The only thing PVFCU has going for it, is that you get paid a day early. In my opinion, it's not worth the additional headaches.Something as small as communicating effectively when a check will come off hold can make a world of impact to someone. Please remember that before communicating bad information.Additional information: I have requested documentation 3 times and was told that a manager would get back to me and I have yet to receive a call back! What the heck is going on over there?!Today I start the process to close my accounts. I already moved my payroll direct deposit over to Navy Federal. I won't get paid one day early but it's worth not dealing with the headaches.GOODBYE PVFCU👋

J R: A good Place but with a poor customer Service. they never answer the phone or messages.
Ms. Sylvia: Arrha is a scam I filed a despute months ago and everytime I call they tell me a different story that does not add up. Each representative has giving the impression that they have not read my despute requests and that they have neglected my despute request. The manager that works at credit union in Springfield Massachusetts hung the phone on me during a calm discussion and completely disregarded my concerns of why one representative is telling me something else. It's either we cannot process your refund because you did not notify the merchant or we cannot refund you because it's a partial refund request meanwhile they never told me while I first submitted the despute in the first place and then according to the manger they only despute some fraudulent occurrences not all. I'm literally going to switch my bank they are so irresponsible and they always cancel your remote bank deposits over some again different excises that also doesn't line up they always coming up with other excuses that just never add up. I cannot remain in a bank that I cannot trust .

kld413: Arrha is hands down the worst bank I’ve dealt with. They never answer, they never call you back and on top of that how does my debit card all of a sudden stop working. When I call to see what’s wrong apparently here’s no record of me even having a card with this bank. Manifestation at its finest, I’ll be taking all my funds out of there first thing in the morning...hopefully I can get someone to answer.

Jake Collins: I was a member of this bank for 5 years. Since I was 16 years old. They have given me nothing but problems. You can't get a debit card until you're 18, their website is not user friendly, i constantly had issues with the website and I was locked out of my account after 1 mistake on my password multiple times, the process to get back into my account is inconsistent and often took multiple days for someone to get back to me, they have no notification system if you have an overdraft or any other issues on your account lastly I was scammed and instead of putting the money back in my account they gave me atm credit. The only reason I took them as a bank was because they were next door to my work and then they moved locations.

Mama Bear Don’t Care: I don’t know how they were rates 5 stars on Google reviews. This credit Union is very inconvenient with closing at random times. There is no specific department when there are issues and they refused to provide me with payment ledgers for a loan. They do not respond to emails. I would not recommend this place it lacks structure, efficient response time, and member concerns.

I’d just lost my mom in the fall and was moving my dad into a more manageable home at the same time. Our realtor recommended a lender for his new mortgage and went with their recommendation. I chose MMFCU again. I started both processes at the same time.Marie Chartrand followed up with me immediately, sent me a list of items she would need to complete the process, a timeline and a preapproval. She called me regularly, offered advice, suggestions and encouragement. Every deadline was met and my closing was smooth as silk. It was the very best experience I could have asked for.Working with the other lender was an incredibly stressful nightmare and we closed two weeks behind schedule.MMFCU is a great financial institution. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Alex Leloup: Absolutely incompetent staff. Every time I’ve gone they haven’t been able to figure something out, or their system is down, or something isn’t working. Last time I was there I had to wait 20 minutes for them to figure out how to put a new roll of receipt tape I’m. They say they will give you a call back. It never happens. Bank itself holds you hostage on your accounts and refuses to let you close accounts. The banking app is down 20% of the time. You’re better off keeping your money in a mattress.
Borry Bc: I love banking here. Saturday hour will be very beneficial. Problems I’ve had was that checks are not available Immediately after mid- night. Like they used to be. Also they are not a part of the boost your credit, if your looking for a lil boost from Expirian. I have to now open another bank account. :( Staff is amazing.

I will be going with a real loan company if it's still possible they beat my credit up pretty bad with 2 hard inquires in 3 weeks...u all could learn a lot from ayanna..atleast how to treat a customer and smile it really doesn't hurt.thanks again for nothing
B F: I’ve been a member for 20+ years and the customer service is always incredible! I recently had to get a car loan to replace my daughter’s car which was totaled(she was fine but the car, not so much!). Lynn and Nicole got involved and we had a loan and a replacement within a couple days! My son also needed to replace his vehicle and they stepped up yet again and had him approved within a couple days and back on the road. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the customer service. They truly take an interest in you as a member and end up treating you like family!

I would have rated it a 5 unfortunately I do have one problem when anything goes wrong with your card and it is after business hours you can not do anything there is no number to call nothing .and I normally would not say anything but this seems to be an all the time problem and become a real problem . Trying to do anything expecially when there is no reason my bank should be declining my card when it's my money in your bank .Thank you

The staff always welcomes you with a nice smile and they are very friendly. Painless process from start to finish. They explain everything and have patient with customers. I always have a lot of doubts and questions and they always are very patient with me. The best thing is the payments options they offer. They worked with me to make sure it was a good fit for me. They also offer amazing interest rates. I have done several loans and other banking business and the process have been very easy each time. LOVE MY GREATER SPRINGFIELD CREDIT UNION.

Terrel Bennett: Hello,To whom this may concern I just wanted to point out that I came in for a small vacation loan and was assisted promptly by a lady named Lynn Bovat. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and kind with her words and actions. She not only help me learn on how to get approved for my vacation loan, but also during the loan process pointed out a large car payment that I made every month and informed me on how refinancing could help save me money. She requested a couple documents and had me do an application for both at the same time. The next day after she called me and I quickly learned that I was approved for both the vacation and car refinance loan which has saved me over $300 or more a month. If it was not for her passion to go above and beyond for her clients and deliver a high quality level of customer service. I would have continued over-spending on my car payments for the next 5 to 6 years. I wanted to send you a personal message acknowledging her for all that she did for me and I’m sure she has done the same for many of her other clients as well. Keep up the great work Lynn!Thank you
