Honest Reviewer: Do not work with or for Pamela Snyder or a Linda Stevenson in this Baystate Corporate office.Two absolute mean girls. Unprofessional liars. Worked with both in the past and felt completely taken advantage of and deceived.When left alone with Linda Stevenson I was berated and screamed at. No witnesses, so no one ever believed me when I spoke up. I just assumed she was mentally unstable and kept our time as short and professional as possible. One of the most fake individuals I've ever met. She would suck up to all the upper management constantly. I could go on and on about her unprofessionalism.Pam Snyder travels back and forth for business and spends only 20-30% of her job actually working. The rest of the time she is traveling, running personal errands, or chain smoking. She works from home most of the time and there isn't anyone around to take note. Not appropriate on work time while you are being paid; witnessed it first hand ALL the time. On one occasion I took the fall for a situation that people get fired for. Pam and another employee were out taking a smoke break which entails walking off Baystate property, which is a pretty long ways. Both employees were called almost a dozen times on the smoke break with no answer. Pam came back looking frantic because a doctor left before their meeting. Of course she couldn't take the blame herself and have a doctor find out they missed her because she was on a hike to a smoke break. I took the high road and didn't report this to anyone when I should have. I ended up taking the brunt thinking they would have my back, so I would get a letter of recommendation as Pam promised. WRONG.I was eventually pushed out. I was promised that I could return to Baystate whenever I desired. I was completely lied to and deceived by Pamela Snyder who swore she would have no reason to leave anything but amazing feedback on my work. (Which was great work from what other individuals told me). I unfortunately found out after wasting a great amount of my time trying to find something else within Baystate. An honest person would have told the truth to my face instead of deceiving me. But when someone takes the fall for you and knows a little too much about the reality of your working days I can understand why I was pushed out with lies.Another thing that really shocked me about Pam Snyder is what she told me on my way out. She told me how other individuals in my role basically did her work for her. I almost fell off my chair. Knowing that she only worked a small portion of her position was already disturbing but to say that I should have been preparing/doing her work for her was outrageous. I knew she had more than enough time to get all her work done.Pam is very much into her own clique & if you don’t become part of it you’re eventually let go. I also found out she likes to badmouth people to anyone in her circle. On another occasion I witnessed her very much over reacting to an error a long time employee made. Just one mind you. Any other manager would have have let it go. Not Pam. Linda Stevenson (one of her best friends) was interested in this employees position. I literally witnessed her pull Linda Stevenson into her office and discuss private personal matters about another employees error. Very inappropriate. I over heard the entire interaction. It was like Pam was angry, excited that this employee messed up & now her best friend could eventually take the position (which she did). I saw this person let go and it still disgusts me to this day. I will not ever forget how unprofessional these individuals were.All I could think was how happy I was to leave. God bless anyone else who works with her.All I can do is put up this review in hopes that it warns other people.On a positive note there are much better paying jobs out there where employees are treated fairly. Over time this is what I've learned from long time employees of Baystate who spent many years miserable. If you are a person interested in working for Baystate in any capacity, I HIGHLY recommend you rethink other options.

Uh Oh: I'm not even going to bother writing because everyone else said everything. TERRIBLE COMPANY OVERALL. Puts fear into employees especially. (I am not an employee)
Andrea Stevens: Had a very negative in-store experience at the Columbus ave location in Springfield, regarding a charge on my card. When I had asked the employee, she immediately got aggressive stating she didn’t do anything, she didn’t pocket it, etc, when I simply inquired why was my card charged when nothing was purchased, she started to get loud, and i matched her tone as i will not be spoken to when we were asking respectfully. The employee did not once state that the charge would be dropped, just that, “she didn’t do it” this escalated to another customer she was chatting with, not sure if it’s a friend or what, started threatening my boyfriend. I reached out to customer service who’s resolution was, well you got your refund right? When I stated from the beginning that was not the issue, it was the behavior of the staff that could have led to a physical altercation. I’m not looking for personal gain, but I am so disgusted with how this has been handled.
Catherine York: Went in for an interview and was mom shamed by Tara because my availability during the weekday started at 8am. She tried to strong arm me to open up my schedule and was extremely rude! She also made sure to let me know that Pride does not work around moms schedules. No thank you
Andrea Brinnel: UPDATE: I have changed my review to 4 stars (would be 5 if wasn't for the unpleasant exchange of emails that led to a positive resolution).Long story short, I heard directly from the president of Pride who obviously took a closer look at the situation and determined that it was an IT issue and not "customer error". In a very nice email he explained the situation and offered a refund. I am now comfortable knowing that the company is looking into the situation I experienced and are addressing the situation. I did suggest that the staffers I dealt with who were so very negative (to the point of inciting my ire) receive training on positive ways to handle difficult situations. All in all, it worked out and the company did take responsibility.Terrible customer service. Do not use the Pridepay app. They do not have appropriate validations to disallow multiple charges at different locations from occurring at the same time and then blame the customer for “customer error”.
bryana Westbrooks: Went in for a job interview on 7/15/2021 got hired was suppose to start training the following Monday but due to pregnancy related symptoms . The job was then taken back and was told I would be reached out to next week still haven’t heard anything back her words were “ I could possibly find you something but it wouldn’t be instant “ . So if your looking for a job with no break and being treated like garbage welcome to pride . But If pregnant or have post pregnancy related symptoms avoid .
Mateo Torres: cheap gas, fair prices, open 24/7 , but the interviewers are rude and unprepared with high standards for entry level minimum wage positions all for naught; to end up having a high turnover rate. Always hiring all year long. They contacted me on indeed to proceed to tell me they seen my resumè and would like to schedule an interview but when I arrived they were not aware of this so I explained to them why I didn't fill out my work history on the application at the headquarters, she then opens her folder to see she has all of the information from indeed. In a very rude and sarcastic tone, she said something along the lines of "so do you not have any work history because it seems you didn't fill it in where it says work history". Would give five stars for prices and availability but gave two because based on my interactions with people at the headquarters; I am inferring that they aren't good internally so who would in their right mind wish to support them having the experiencs I've had? I had three interviews in three years (first two were in same year) with them which each time was a very negative experience. I am a hard working individual.Update: treat workers terribly and don't give discounts for employees and refuse to give meal breaks for employees working with food.

Angela Black: There really wasn't much to the convience store to be honest. The fifties restaurant was absolutely awesome. My waitress, Roxanne, was the absolute best waitress I've had in any of the restaurants I've been. Thank you Roxanne for a great experience!

Rollie Wallace: Customer since 2012. Great products and company, but sales is based on an archaeic MLM type model with 95%+ turnover. This results in a terrible customer experience and poverty level for most of the people who work for them. Advice offered is available virtually anywhere so, sadly, they are very nearly obsolete.

Ralph Wright: I purchased a Life Insurance policy in 1962. I paid it off but continued to purchase additional coverage. The MassMutual Agency was in Nashua, NH.The Agency was managed by Mr. Alun Williams. He sold me an Insurance policy. We were both members of The Nashua Kiwanis Club of which I was the secretary. He was married to a nurse and they had 8 or 9 children, all girls. I promised Mr. Williams that if my wife and I have a boy baby, that his middle name would be Alun. We had one child, a boy and his middle name was Alun. Mr. Williams was born in Wales in a small village and served in the Wales Army. Later, to become a United States citizen, he had to serve in The US Army for several years. He started a Mass Mutual Insurance Agency.I recall that he died at a very young age. His widow became a school nurse at the school my son Alun attended. Nurse Williams always reffered to Alun as her son. (she only had 8 or 9 female children.) Her husband's Mass Mutual Agency closed.Today, I decided to cash in my Life Insurance policy. At age 83, I have enough savings to get by and my burial is pre paid.However, my Mass Mutual Agent is not available. Corporate still prints his name as my Agent, but noone knows him. No phone listed under his name. Employees of MassMutual don't recall meeting him. Strange that my agent is no longer working for Mass mutual.I received no help from Mass Mutual to cash my policy. I wanted the forms sent to me, but first I had to reveal my Social Security number. I refused to give it out for security reasons. I asked to have the forms sent to me via over night delivery and MassMutual wanted my Credit Card number to pay mailing costs. What!!! I was a client since 1962. I never was late sending in my payments.My agent is missing. His name still appears on my renewal policy. The MassMutual Boston Office does not know my Agent? Why should I divulge my Social Security number and my Credit Card Number to MassMutual who use the Federal Mail delivery to assure me that I have An Agent, but in reality, I don't.I am certain that Mass Mutual was a fine Company in 1962. But as of today, I found that things have changed. For instance, Wells Fargo Bank has paid a huge fine. TD Bank won't cash my wife's Three Certificates of Deposit and don't know where the funds are. TD Bank in Nashua, NH closed recently. New Hampshire has very few State Chartered Banks. Federal Banks have taken over and are under the control of the Democrats and Republicans who cannot agree on providing safety at the Borders.
