Gerard McEnany: My husband and I first met with Lee of LD's to discuss a floor renovation project - a 25$ quote and lee gave me more information about my home than I could have imagined, far out weighting the 25$. Lee came across as a very professional, knowledgeable and honest contractor. Unfortunately, prior to scheduling the floor project, we found some significant older hidden water damage that affected an exterior wall - rotting in through and the 2007 repair (as noted by the newspaper in the wall) was worse than the damage.The damage was fairly extensive putting a temporary halt on the other project, at which point we wanted to update Lee of our situation. Instead of moving on, Lee said he would assess the situation arriving shortly after our call. Lee assessed and took on our headache, stating he would make adjustments to squeeze us in within the next week or two considering the damage. Lee quoted us that day and was very transparent about his initial quote due to the unknown nature of the full job. Imagine the shock when The LD's crew informed us they would be at our home next day, finishing the project within 48hrs, like the damage never existed. The entire LD's staff: Lee, the office management, the hands on crew, everyone was incredible.I want to call out a few separate items here that put LD's Unlimited into a separate (higher) category. The transparency is excellent. The work is phenomenal but more importantly; Lee was extensively accommodating for a job that was off season, small, technically not part of his services, and for new clients. LD's resolved an emergency of short notice while keeping every cost saving they could for us (down to re-using safe salvageable material). They were even keep the older wainscoting we liked - fully unharmed, and my existing siding/trim. Its not often contractors are this accommodating - LD's legitimately understand how to care for a client's best interests and create solid relationships. If you need work done - give LD's a call. Maida Wassermann: I hired LD's Unlimited Home Improvement In October 2020 to do a complete bathroom renovation of my small master bathroom, and update the vanity, mirror and lighting in a 2nd bathroom. As a fairly new homeowner who has never done a home renovation, Lee was very helpful and had some creative ideas to guide me along in the process. My bathrooms were from the 80's and had awful seashell sinks. I now have the most beautiful master bathroom. The small stall shower with a curtain is now an amazingly beautiful tiled shower with a full wall length niche for my shower products and there is a small corner bench as well. There is also a tiled rainfall on the wall behind the shower head. The work was done in approximately 3 weeks, as promised. And everything is amazing. Luis Galindez: My wife and I were thinking of simply having our old kitchen cabinets repainted and having our refrigerator centered on a different part of the kitchen because where it was located, it was an obstacle. Lee, spoke to us, orientated us, and helped us visualize why a brand new kitchen would be the best alternative; all started to make sense, so we went for it. Lee told us and showed us in the contract exactly what will be happening; nothing was false! They were ready to work at 7:30 am and they worked continously! The best part was that Lee was ALWAYS there with his workers; something I haven't experienced with previous projects I had done with other contractors. We had all the kitchen cabinets installed by Lee and his workers, the floor done with Luxury Vinyl planks, electrical, lights, and a brand new door installed . The kitchen looks BEAUTIFUL and up dated to the max with its granite countertop and amazing deep sink personally picked by Lee. My wife loved the sink! The only criticism that we have is that some cabinet edges came with some noticeable nips from the factory where they were built. Otherwise the rest has been a great experience. He gave me a clear estimate of the cost, answered all my questions, and was very professional in all our interactions. Lee was honest about the weather issues of working in early spring but he managed to get the work all into one week by working around rainy days. Every night he put down plywood so my dog could get in and out of the house (the deck abuts the rear slider)Once he took off the deck surface, Lee reinforced the pilings and cross bars making sure this deck will last many more years. He decided to screw in the planks rather than nail them in.I plan to have Lee back in a few months to stain the deck and already have a list of inside projects.
