Jeffrey Tapp: I just had some work done this week. I had 4 post screwed into ground for footings. It only took them a couple of hours but did a good job. The best or worse part(depending on how you look at it lol) was I still owed 350. Steve the owner came by today to get it. I thought I gave him 300 and went in the house for the other 50. Well it turns out 2 of the hundreds must of been stuck together because I actually gave him 400. When I walked out to give him the 50 he handed me back the extra hundred.Well just for their honesty I would use them again and recommend them.

lauren bullis: Our house had a water line break just outside our foundation on a Thursday night. The town shut off our water and we were in need of excavator services. We called all of the local excavators and Always Reliable was the only one that could make it on Friday. The catch was that it was going to cost $5-6k with a discount if we paid in cash vs check (IRS issue here perhaps). We found out from other excavator companies that it should cost less than $3k. We waited until Monday and a local excavator company did it for $2,700 which also included replacing the sewer line. We told the story of the gouging that Always Reliable proposed to the respectable excavator companies and they were all disgusted that someone would look to capitalize on people in need. So if you want it done fast and money is not an object, then I am sure they will do fine work, but if you do not feel like being exploited, please use someone else...

Kaylee: It’s never a good feeling when a toilet backs up, especially when you have had previous issues with roots. This happened to us just weeks before our backyard wedding. After finding out the blockage was 5+ feet under the concrete pad in front of the house, we knew it was going to be a pretty big job. We were referred to Always Reliable Excavation from our neighbors. Jon and his partner were extremely communicative/responsive out of the gate, not to mention kind and light hearted. The Always Reliable team was excellent.As they got into the project, they quickly realized it was a bigger job than previously expected. After hours of work in hurricane weather (literally a hurricane was coming through) they were 12 feet down under what was a section of driveway. It was 10:00 PM by this time, and they didn’t stop. They finished what they were there to do.What was an already stressful situation was handled in a way that gave us peace of mind. And they completed the project in time for our wedding! New driveway poured, new concrete pad hand done because their typical partner for concrete was booked, and fresh new pipes.I can’t recommend these guys more. I wouldn’t be writing my first ever google review otherwise. If you need someone with the skills, equipment, and positive “can do” attitude paired with prompt replies and clear communication, choose Always Reliable Excavation. 5- star experience for us, no doubt about it.

Raymond Michaud: Purchased a house less than 1 year ago. Started having sewer problems within 2 weeks. Used another to clear the line until it could be replaced, same company stopped responding to calls for an estimate to do the sewer line replacement. Contacted Always Reliable, they were at my house within a few days time to do an inspection and run through the process. They even went above and beyond by fixing a few other issues that I wasn't aware of. We scheduled a date for them to come and replace our sewer pipe. They called us and told us they can come a day early and got the job done right away. Their price was much lower than other companies that gave us quotes. I highly recommend them.

I had very low water pressure, and the town DPW determined that the problem was the water line from the main to my house. I called Always Reliable Excavating in the morning, they came out that afternoon and e-mailed me an estimate that evening. They started work three working days later because they had a cancellation and had my water back on that very evening. They saved me money by pulling the line under the road and the inconvenience to me was minimal.

They gave a reasonable quote, did a fine job in short order (even through this unusually rainy season), were respectful of the bushes and plants nearby the area they were working, held true to their quote, we’re polite, efficient and responsive. My backyard looks fabulous and I will hire them again next spring to put in a front sidewalk for me.

Winton Corp: Always Reliable Excavating was referred to us by a sewer and drain company for an emergency excavation and spot repair on a sewer line that had a snake stuck in it from tying to clear a blockage. They came out the next morning and carefully excavated the area after calling DigSafe and pulling permits. Jon and Steve were great to work with, and did a nice job assessing and repairing the section of sewer line. They backfilled and compacted the area and left it ready for reseeding.

Butterfly Adventures: We needed or yard graded for drainage away from the house. They came over immediately, looked at the job and gave and estimate on Tuesday. On Saturday they completed the job beyond expectations and came in on the original estimate. I will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend them.Scott
