Stockbridge Court: what do users think?
Meagan Derbyshire: Since being bought buy STK mngt company, Stockbridge has become far worse. There are routine package thefts now that the security officer has been fired, there is dog waste everywhere as no one follows curbing rules, and the elevators are frequently stalled or broken without proper upkeep.
Eileen McCaffery: The leasing team was awesome and made everything go so smoothly. Thank you all!
Jo Lu: Very clean, professional staff, very safe comparing, and near everything. Neighbors are nice but few neighbors will not even hi but that happens everywhere and not the landlord fault.
chimi changa: called this place 4 times before going to see it in person. and 4 times I asked about pet fees. 4 times I was told there is NONE. (turns out its $50 per dog) I let her know I was told otherwise, and she retorted that "they dont know what they're talking about." Um, how about you educate them so they give people the correct info? Just a thought. Also I was quoted incorrectly with Andrea over the phone. She said 1. There ARE units the size im looking for and 2. they ARE in my price range. went to tour this place today. within 2 minutes of chatting, Andrea, the assistant property manager tells me thats there's a big problem with cars getting broken into AND packages being stolen. Lovely. Also within those 2 minutes I was told that there are NO units in the size I want. Then she says "oh yes, there are" and then proceeded to quote me $500 more than she told me over the phone. HOT. MESS. I drove 4 hours today to see this place, based on our VERY untruthful phone conversation.Ive never got a worse vibe from ANYWHERE I have ever looked. The barking dogs in the units, as we walked down the hall, the MESS of a package room, the absolute crime and poverty in which this complex sits. The DARK gloomy apartments. Andrea told me turnover is high, due to rent going up 10% every year.WHY in the world anyone would pay even $1 to pay to live here is beyond the scope of my imagination.
Dan Duncan: A miserable place to live. Apartments are filled with loud, obnoxious, college students throwing late-night parties. Didn't get any sleep for two years. Building management did nothing to help, only provided lip service. Security non-existent, My vehicle was broken into WHILE PARKED BEHIND THE GATED LOT. I regret living here and would not recommend.
Harold Schaeffer: Enjoy living here very much. Generally pretty quiet, with friendly tenants and a very responsive and helpful staff. Parking lot security needs improvement, but that is really my only complaint. Highly recommended!
Leda Jaquin: When I was looking for apartments, I noticed the lack of reviews and that was frustrating to me. I can put worry warts like me at ease. It is super nice here at stockbridge court! They help you with every process and answer all of your questions. Look no farther when apartment hunting😊
Adreanne silvers: I've lived with fly investatun in my apartment and management did nothing but imply it was an isolated area. The hall windows inside on all floors are invested. They did nothing.Elevator was supposed to be repaired in 4 wks., now going on 7. Try walking 4 flights in 90 degrees, with a disability.Maintenance...No one every easy to get a hold of during day and NO one available after 4.Security is non existent.......that is scary for a single woman who was made to think they would be there to protect.
Regine Jackson: Beautiful place, but rent increases $90 - $120 per year. I've lived here for 6 and a half years, and while I understand inflation, I don't understand the reasoning behind why in 2021, I'm paying $1,400 for a one bedroom apartment (not including electricity, heat, internet, cable). I'm considering moving once my lease is up next year if the rent continues to increase at such an absurd rate. A few pros of living here include: it's downtown, and the staff are always kind and willing to help.
Rachel1002: Overall, I am very happy residing at Stockbridge Court! I so love the grounds; they are beautifully maintained! I have a lovely view from my apartment. And the maintenance men do an awesome job! What I would like to see is a posting in the laundry room that folks pick up after themselves, including wiping out the washer/dryer after they've used the facilities to clean blankets that their animals use. And if it could include to please wipe out the filter, and if you spill something, wipe that up. It's so disheartening that adults don't know how to pick up after themselves, let alone seem to care that we live in a community and each individual's behavior impacts others. I pick up after people just to model 'good' behavior, and because one person displaying a 'lazy' attitude by not picking up after themselves, inspires the next person to do the same. When we do pick up after ourselves, I believe it increases likelihood that others will pick up after themselves. Course a posting won't solve the problem, but may raise awareness. Or you could sent out an email with these things on it. Another thing that's bothersome is now that there are so many animals on the premises, I notice a bad odor of animal in the hallways that is very unpleasant. Thank you for your consideration, and in asking!
Rich Sylvester: I have lived here for over a year and a half and am very pleased with the apartment and all the staff. The units are quite timely for the age of the building and very comfortable and airy. The management is great and very responsive to any issue that arises, always prompt to solve the problem. The maintenance people are the best and friendly and resolve any problem we have had. The care and cleanliness of the building is well maintained and up to snuff. The grounds are well kept by their landscapers and the grounds are a great place to sit and enjoy the park like setting. They have grills and tables and chairs if you want bbq or just grill some hot dogs.Over all I am very pleased with everything.
Sam Kelley: Excellent staff, friendly neighbors who also respect your privacy. Good mix of neighbors of all ages and demographics. I have been here a year and a half and I love this place
Ahmed Farag: Lived here for around 2 months now and here is my experience so far:Location: Great. Downtown, 1 block away from the MGM casino, a small mall, a CVS, and lots of restaurants. Also, it does feel very safe.Staff: Superb, very helpful and quick to respond to questions and issues.Apartment: Underwhelming. I moved into a 1 bed 1 bath apartment. Walls are super thin and you can hear neighbors talking to each other. There were lots of issues with fixtures and shelves that were faulty and had to call maintenance multiple times to fix things as they became apparent. On moving in, some of the cabinets were not cleaned and contained food left over by the previous tenant. The bedroom closet has very old sliding doors and low-quality plastic hanger bars. There is one working outlet for cable/internet in the entire place. They also have new USB outlets in the kitchen above the biggest countertop without any power outlets, which makes it impractical as all other power outlets in the kitchen (4) are near the sink over a very small countertop, and honestly I find USB in the kitchen to be useless. Apartment is also incredibly hot during summer and there is no AC in the living room. This might be a great thing during winter months but after a heat wave it takes more than a day for the apartment to cool down to a bearable temperature. I do love the balcony, high ceilings and huge living room window. Appliances are a fridge, a dishwasher, an electric oven/stove top and a microwave, all of which work perfectly.Amenities: Overall good. There is a gym that is being upgraded with new equipment at the moment and looks promising. There are 2 outside grills in a lovely green area with seating. There is an OK community room with a large screen TV, books and some board games, as well as a coffee machine. There is only one washer and one dryer on my entire floor, which means that it is often in use by someone else.Maintenance: Have been great so far, but apart from fixtures that were mentioned above, we did not have any major issues.
Madeleine Taylor: I've been living here seven years. The euphoria wore off after two years and the bathroom fan is annoying but I love living here. The maintenance staff is quick and the management crew is nice.
Jay Di: Pros: The place has a very good location, accesible from many highways and is a middle point from close states. The place is very safe and clean. It has an Amazon hub. Maintenance is good and prompt.Cons new neighbors are not as respectful as they used to be. Non smoking policies need to be strict. Security is available only after 10 pm and are not responsive when needed. Noise reduction policies need to be implemented and small children should not be allowed in a building with lots of hard working professionals
ROBERT aESCHBACK: My partner and I have been living at Stockbridge Court for 2 years and we just signed a new lease for year 3!We looked ar many places before deciding on Stockbridge Court. The courtyard, the high ceilings and the gated parking lot. Plus right down town!Once here it has been a great place to live. Quiet nights. An issues are resolved quickly
Hailey Conger: Lived here for the last two years and fully have enjoyed my time and know I will continue to do so. Building and grounds are clean, safe, and perfect for a law student such as myself. Staff is incredibly helpful and goes out of their way to assist you. Could not recommend Stockbridge more.
Jenna Stadulis: The apartments here are very nice and in a great location! All of the staff is super nice and responsive. The maintenance workers are friendly, quick and efficient whenever I have had any issues. I would definitely recommend living here!
Gene Mann: Great place, clean, safe and nice people
John Gomes: I’ve been living here , for quite some time . The office staff , is very professional. The maintenance personnel stay on top of trouble calls. Other people that live here are friendly for the most part. Don’t see myself moving.
Regina Gunter: I just moved into the greatest apartment. I love the building, the people I have met, and the area is super. So much within walking distance. Alex, Jorman, and Jessie are friendly, helpful, and great customer service representatives for the complex. I cannot wait to get more familiar with the area, and meet more of my neighbors. I live on the top floor, and have heard nothing thru the walls, very well built, if you like a quiet, peaceful home.
