Franconia Golf Course: what do users think?
Richard Barlow: Great track awesome condition, my group and I enjoy ourselves
Mike Hunt: This course is run by children. Don't expect them to honor anything they tell you over the phones. Or maintain the greens or really do any part of their jobs. If you have to play municipal go to veterans not this joke of a course.
Robert Danie: Great value. Nice layout. Kind of short 6,200 from back tees. Newly renovated traps.
Edward Guzik: Well maintained, plays quick and always a good choice.
Nicholas Roussel: The course was well tended. Will go back again
Silver: Took 3+ hours to finish a round of 9 with a cart. No ranger going out there to check pace of play. Waited on every shot for a while. Greens were a bit on the slower side as well. Willing to come back for a future visit in hopes the next time goes better. The starter and pro shop attendant were very nice overall and remained professional.
Julio Feliciano: Great local and public golf course.
comsg66: Myself and others have been calling there for weeks for tee times and all we get is an answering machine every time we call how are you supposed to play the course if you can’t get a tee time?Just think of all the revenue the city is losing because somebody doesn’t wanna answer the phone
Paul Goodchild Ph.D., CPA: The course is in great shape and it's my favorite course in Western Mass. No, it isn't anything special, just reasonable golf and reasonable hole distances for a weekend or in this case, weekday hacker. The people are nice and it's generally busy, so you have to be patient because sometimes the holes back up or play into each other since it's a tight space. Go enjoy yourself and friends and hopefully you'll find some birdies.
kevin lee: My first course playing golf, always good experience..easy, hard holes
Richard Cini: A very nice golf course great greens. I'll be back
Francis Rosario: Bartender Angie at the club house is Great. Great customer service always in a Great Mood and is very polite and professional. Great asset to the golf course.
christopher nargi: The layout is great and the course is always in excellent condition They obviously make the effort to keep the course in great shape. My only knock is the concrete bunkers. Either add more sand or till them up in the off season. You should play this course a few times a year if you live in the area.
JPH2179: A+ One of the nicest municipal courses in a 30mile radius. A must if you haven't been you won't be sorry.
Eric Marchacos: Beautiful course
Jeremy Dugan: Course is in amazing shape and bunkers are brand new. Can't wait to play again.
Michael Madsen: Great local place to play golf. Heavily used when the golf course is open. You might have to wait a little bit to play the course but well worth it.
Jaime Lopez (Focal Creator): Golf course is in great shape. Unfortunately there are renovations in the back 9.but, the club accommodated my tee time and played the front 9 twice.Great bar at the turn. Very nice people!
Chris D.: Great staff and service! Nice course conditions, 18 of a whole lot of fun!
DBLB2273 x: Course was in nice shape. Packed house but pace was still good.
Richard Smith: What a wonderful course. We came from Worcester to play 24 golfers we all like the course. 5 stars.

Veterans Memorial Golf Course: what do users think?
Dr. Beer: Is quiet and familiar 🤔.
Arthur Wheeler: Course in àwsome shape
Dan Hill: Good condition. Nice greens. Will play again
Pat Pschirer: Nice course. Reasonably priced. Wasn't very crowded for a Sunday morning which was nice. All the other local courses had no tee times.
Boston Nate: My favorite course to play! In great shape. Carts aren’t slow, greens in good shape, the course is challenging yet fun! You use your whole bag unlike other courses. Recommend to anyone
Brian Buckley: As comfortable of an establishment as a bed & breakfast. Won’t get tired of golfing here. Great fun; don’t rest on the 12th hole it’s a sleeper.
Franco Frare: Great shape , good bunkers ,fast play reasonably priced
Janet Lebeau: Haven't played there in a while.Yesterday I couldn't believe how nice and good shape the course was in.Had a great day!
Scott Niemczura: This was a great municipal golf course in Springfield. The course was challenging without being too hard at the same time. Course was also in great shape, greens were soft and receptive, and putt very true. Good selection of food and drinks in the clubhouse as well. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
John Frogameni: I've visited half a dozen golf courses in MA and Veterans is one of the best. Inexpensive to play with amazing greens and great service. Their pro shop and bar are great too!
DBLB2273 x: I thought the course was in really good shape and played at a good pace.
Nicholas Roussel: A nice golf course,
Troy Kall: Not a bad golf course for a public course
Steve Carr: Absolutely the best place to have service done. Ken is always there to help and is willing to put up with my antics. GOOD GUY.
Edward Guzik: A well kept, relaxing, and fun golf course.Definitely worth playing and don't let some of the short holes deceive you.
kevin lee: Played 18 holes there on Saturday morning, too many slow players there! Took 5 hours to finish
DavidL: Course was in great shape, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape and the greens were in excellent condition..Very enjoyable round of golf
Ann Lynch: Filthy bathrooms, sub par carts and no t boxes or greens blown off.
Errol L Smith: Great Golf Course l enjoy the day playing
David Bates: Well maintained fairways and greens throughout the summer . Staff is obliging and courteous.
Jermaine Smith: One of my favorite course to play. Course is always a good shape. People working there amazing

Springfield Country Club: what do users think?
Erica Ewing: This country club is the perfect spot for weddings. It's has such a beautiful view and everyone was so easy to work with!
Dew Maur: A very nice place with good food and drinks. Service was outstanding.
Rick DiTrapano: Beautiful course! One of my favorites!
lydia pares: If i could give zero i would! My co worker was chocking on his food. No one called 911, Workers and guest just stared at him and said they could not help him. Luckily another one of our co workers helped him and gave him the Heimlich maneuver. So disappointing that you would let someone choke in your restaurant and just say sorry i cant help you!
Maryann DeLoria: This country club is a beautiful venue for weddings. It's rustic and has a lovely view. I especially love the benches made of tree stumps for the guests to sit on.
Crystal Hassell: Do not have your events here. The staff on the event coordinating are rude, don’t get back to you and all over the place. Communication was horrible. They’ll take a whole week to get back to you even on short timing. They gave me different prices at times, the first time I inquired over the phone food was included other times it wasn’t. I was working with Gracie at the time. Toured the venue with her, my daughter, and sister and she told us it was included then as well. After that she and I are coordinating over a few weeks and she kept giving me different prices with the food not being included now. She just blatantly kept denying that she told us that on numerous occasions. I even had one of my good friends (who is white and I am black) call for prices and they gave him different prices than me because food was included for him. I finally had to speak to the regional manager there I don’t remember her name. She was extremely rude until I just took my business elsewhere
trevor brice: Beautiful, forgiving course with great amenities and helpful, happy staff. Will 100% be returning for another round of golf.
Donna Maloney: TL;DR: Take your business elsewhere for events. Event planning staff is not helpful and unprofessional. Food subpar. Would have given just one star but the day-of bar and waitstaff were great. My sister and I recently hosted an event through the Springfield Country Club. We were working with three different planners/coordinators at the venue which made communication difficult, as we weren’t sure who we should be contacting throughout the planning process. Initially, we were working primarily with Mary and then were put into contact with Emma and Gracie. Their team provided absolutely no guidance or information on the venue. Any details pertaining to the types of tables, chairs, day of coordination, dimensions for decorations, etc. were not given to us unless we asked. I am not from the area and can’t exactly drop by to visit whenever. Any other professional venue would hand out a brochure of all of this basic information for their clients. When we started to ask all of these questions, we were told we were asking too many questions and to stop calling. We were told that our questions were not necessary and were assured that the venue and food would be great. It wasn’t.Eventually we were able to go visit the venue for a walkthrough with Emma. The venue hall looked less than ideal and the walls looked as if they hadn’t been painted in years with scuff marks on them. For a venue that hosts weddings, golf tournaments, and every function in between, you would expect that a base level of maintenance would be provided. When we addressed this with the event coordinator and the owner, Mr. Pellegrino, our concerns were met with disdain and half-hearted responses along with no guarantee that the venue would be painted prior to the date of our shower. Luckily they did paint before our event and the space looked nice the day of. The fact that we even had to say something speaks volumes about how little the management cares about the appearance of the venue even when you’re spending money to host an event there. After weeks of calling and receiving no communication back from their team, we finally were able to get in touch with their team about final details and were once again assured everything would be great. Had we not already sent out invitations for our event, we would have taken our business elsewhere at this point. On the day of, our set-up and waitstaff (excluding the three planners already mentioned) were helpful and kind. One server in particular, Nikki, was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Their team is lucky to have her and we’re very thankful for her professionalism and kindness. The food was mediocre at best, though. After being told that the food would be great this was a disappointment. The caesar salad was heavy on the anchovy (not really a crowd pleaser for a salad that typically is a good go-to) and the chicken francaise was served dry and cold. Gross and disappointing. The best part of the food was the dessert (tiramisu) but at that point it was too late to make up for two courses of unappetizing food.Overall, take your money elsewhere. Any venue that doesn’t provide detailed information up front and has a snotty event planning team is not worth your time or your money. There are plenty of other nice venues in the area and I wish we went with a different one. Our day went well only because of the wait and bar staff there - our day of coordinators on the planning team were unfriendly and overall unhelpful.
Bill Scott: Had a class reunion and recently a gathering of former Spfld. Falcon workers. Great place for both .Great food, drink's and staff also great.
Jesse Barnaby: Loved hearing Geoff Diehl speak
Tracy Beauregard: Absolutely wonderful experience!
My Google: Best view around! Great food and an unbelievable building. Club pro is very good as well.
Therese Vallee: Food was excellent very clean, very nice.
Randy Smith: Nice dining experience, but they could use a better selection of beer.
Kathy Niver: Had a special company sponsored event here. Food was very good. Staff was friendly and attentive!
Pete Pashko: It’s sad that w spfld residents can’t play golf there but you can go there for dinner?
Tweakn101: New owners keep the place mint .. super nice coarse !!!!!!!
Alexander V. Laskin: Отлично
Rafael Lopez: I don't golf, but it's a gem hidden within the city. Great views and beautiful sunsets.
Alan Lockery: Great evening, great service, great people.

Twin Hills Country Club: what do users think?

Anthony Baughn: Very nice place, the food is very very good.
Cindy Francis: Welcoming space! Excellent food. Good service.
Lora Glende: Beautiful course, excellent facilities. Wonderful staff and friendly members.
Deborah Harootunian: Just my opinion, the food could have been tastier. Service was excellent. Lovely grounds we'll kept inside maintenance wise.
Tony D. Melandro: Great track
gregory murphy: Great course. Played a tournament for charity. Too bad the guys in front of us did not know how to walk on greens. Dragging andTwisting feet. Cardinal sin. I'm sure the pro pulled all his hair out.
Dave Obedzinski: Attended a golf tournament here and it was a great day. Staff in pro shop as well as catering staff we're very helpful, especially Keeley who was on the course in the drinks cart and then serving with a smile at dinner. Course was beautiful and fun to play.
Sarika Rainey: Twin Hills Country Club was the venue for my October 2021 wedding reception. Laura Chipouras helped to coordinate the day. She accommodated a food tasting with our family when car trouble prevented us from traveling to attend the appointment. Laura also helped me with the bustle on my dress before the reception, which I thought was above and beyond what she was asked to do and I am thankful. She was also very helpful and accommodating with last-minute changes to the guest count and food order alterations. Finally, she made sure everything that we accidentally left behind got back us. Thank you.The venue itself is very beautiful in the fall and the staff were excellent. Many of our guests complimented the food. I would highly recommend Twin Hills Country Club for wedding receptions!
Jeffrey Goulet: Beautiful course, superbly maintained!
Stephanie Flagg: Beautiful place
Thank-God Setsoafia: Had a team banquet here. This is a most excellent event venue, and the food is great!
Carlos Frias Acosta: We were doing a photo booth Service for a Prom Night for Chicopee High School, the service, the staff and the venue highly recommended.!

Erika Car.: Agradable, habitacion espaciosa, buena fiesta italiana!
Susan Lecuyer-Watroba: Beautiful grounds. Lovely establishment.
Donna Lee Maxfield: Held our 60th class Reunion. Food good. Facility clean spacious and staff cheerful and helpful. We had approximately 65 attendees. Fun for all and great to see my classmates.

Cold Spring Country Club: what do users think?
Local Guide: Great 18-hole golf course. Great price for the condition of the course. There are lots of hills that make the game a bit more challenging. Friendly staff in a great location with a really nice range!
John Fuller: Nice golf course. Good condition. It is a little unconventional however. Six par 3's with four around 200yds each. Plays way longer than 6001 yes from the blue tees. Greens are very grainy (April). Slow into the grain. Many uphill shots. Restaurant is pleasant but $13 for a Capt and Coke. Hello!
Allyson Billiel: The food was delicious and the views are amazing. Our waitress was very professional and friendly. We will definitely be coming back here. I can’t wait until the weather warms up and eat outside
Tous Les Jours Newton: Best golf club! Beautiful view and nice stuff! Well maintained
Todd Lavallee: Overpriced drinks yet great atmosphere and entertainment...
Paul Grudgen: Had lunch at Leenas , we'll be new customers
Boston Nate: Absolutely great course! Awesome condition, pace is great, friendly staff and carts are quick! I have no complaints about this course besides no restaurant or Alcohol .Has challenging holes, then straight forward ones. Great mix.also the crushed marble instead of sand…real nice touch! You can’t go wrong playing here
Jeffrey Goulet: Couple quirky holes, but otherwise a really great track! Some really fantastic views! Swing!
Patrick McKenna: For the amount of time we spent driving from Boston, I would say I was pretty disappointed. The course was in avg shape, some parts it’s hard to tell a fairway from the rough. The greens rolled one speed and then another two holes later. Some holes are a little awkward and gimmicky. The back 9 is def the better of the two. This was the 30th/32 courses we have played in Massachusetts and I wouldn’t put it high on the list, however, priced fairly for what you get.
Paul Goodchild Ph.D., CPA: Our day started off great with a young man bringing a cart out to our car. As it was my first trip out to the course this was nice. The day was beautiful and the people in the shop were nice and the building seems pretty new. The course is in good shape but challenging for this weekend hacker with most of the holes moving right to left and long par threes. It is mid-priced for courses in Western Mass and I'd say it most closely resembles an easier track than the old Hampden CC with lots of up and downhill holes. Take a cart on your first trip out.
Dan Hall: I love Cold Springs! Always a fun time.
Edward Guzik: Well maintained fun, with some challenging holes, golf course.
Derek Kerns: Nice course with challenging holes.
Eileen Hurley: Great golf course! Beautiful views, generous red tee box location for the ladies.
Lee Thurston Jr.: The conditions at this course were totally fine. Above average in my opinion. Played slow for a Sunday afternoon round, but we were only a group of 2 so that's to be expected. Would def play again.
Nelson Carreira: Course is ok. A few challenging hole. Greens are in rough shape and no bar or restaurant. Not worth the money much better courses in the area for same money.
Nicholas Popowich: Course design and layout are great. Enjoyable views and some very fun holes. Paved cart paths are also nice. That being said, upon my visit in Sept 2021 I left a little disappointed.First, the course was absolutely *packed* and pace of play was brutally slow. When we arrived at the first tee for our tee time there was a group standing on the tee already and no starter. Play took about 5 hours and we spent a lot of time standing around waiting. Felt like the club over booked for the day or something. Nothing worse than arriving for a tee time you paid good money for only too see the course completely backed up. I get that courses need to make money...but definitely felt like the were just squeezing every last group in they could with no regard for pace of play.In addition, for the price, I was expecting some pretty pristine conditions. Sadly, many of the tee boxes seemed like they hadn't been mowed for a few days, and the greens were in pretty rough shape. Some dead spots on every green and apparently no on at this club repairs their pitch marks. Some greens, especially the par 3's were cratered with ball marks. A had a few puts that went pretty far off line due to the bumpy conditions of the greens.Lastly...they don't sell any alcohol at the course.Overall still a fun day, but a bit disappointing, given how the club presents itself as some what of a premium country club.
Robert Smethurst: Greens need work. Other than that nice layout..
Patrick Donahue: Worst experience I ever had at a golf course. Owners should be embarrassed of letting privileged members complain with no consequences. There are bugs everywhere, people yelling at you and being condescending. Not a place to spend your money on an overpriced golf course with 300 divots every hole that no one bothers to fix. COLD SPRING IS A JOKE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE
John St.Sauveur: Very disappointed with condition of the front 9. Many fairways were wet and unkept starting with the 1st hole. When will something be done with the abandoned house on 1st tee!? Seemed like maintenance crew hadn’t been around in months. Greens weren’t bad. Not worth the money right now. Hope they improve cause it could be great course
Stanley LaBrecque: Golf course in good condition

The Ranch Golf Club: what do users think?
Errol Lehr: 2nd time this year, POOR TEE TIME MANAGEMENT.Course conditions are fair at best.SLOW PLAY - 2:30 for nine holesTotal waste of time- tee time slots online are not updated or managed properly. Members here simply don’t show up sometimes and the tee slots are never taken out. make sure you have a foursome before you travel and call ahead to make sure the teatime is real. This course used to be in much better condition, and was perfect place to play for New England fall golf, greens were decent, but the rest of the course is going downhill.
Peter Blauvelt: Awesome golf course and great staff. Wonderful experience!
Allan LaPrino (almattinc): Course design ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Condition ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2Greens ⭐️⭐️⭐️Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+Anthony - carts ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+Restaurant- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pace of play ⭐️Return/recommend? Absolutely
Logan Byrne: I love the ranch chef Dennis makes the best food and Amanda is super nice she will go right up to your table and say hi also music night is so much fun.
Mike O'Neill: Played July 1 (Canada Day). Perfect weather, perfect conditions, wonderful greeters.Wished the snack bar/beer cart started before 11.
John H: Great course! Well run! 4hr 9 min pace. Excellent conditions. Friendly helpful staff. Amazing greens. Worth the trip!
Melissa Bovat: Great place to relax have dinner and drinks and listen to live music! The food was great, the employees were awesome, and the music was on point. When the sun went down and it got chilly the manager went and got blankets for people if they were cold! Felt like hanging out on your back deck. Will definitely be going back! Thank you Amanda and Riley!
Ted Provost: When in season a nice place to be!
Douglas Melanson: Awesome day and great course.
Sean Rodgers: Amazing golf course!
Otis0468: Always a great day spent at The Ranch... thanks to all for a great day of golf.
Jermaine Smith: By far the best course in New England. Gorgeous course. From the time you pull up. Someone is there to put your clubs in your golf cart. Free golf tees. But the views. Amazing. The course is one of the best maintained course if played. I drove over a hour. Worth it and will be playing there regularly. The BEST
Walt Nowakowski: Love The Ranch. Greens roll smooth and fairways are well manicured. Wish I lived closer, I'd join in a minute.
Anthony Laudato: Fantastic conditions! My favorite track in Massachusetts!
Kevin Matuszczak: I play the course a few times a year. Always a great experience. For the first time I attended a wedding at the Ranch and was very impressed by the amazing staff and venue!! The place was New England rustic and the staff was really fantasic!
Cindy Fleming: Beautiful atmosphere, great meal.
Edward Guzik: Nice course... in good shape... worth the trip once in a while.
Pete Pashko: Very nice golf course to test your game . Great shape and the crew that works there treated us very well
sobmogx: Best course/ environment in western mass
Robert Wyman: Great Track
James Butler: Beautiful golf course, very friendly staff. A little on the pricey side but with the conditions of the course and gps on carts, totally worth every penny.
