Christopher Heights of Northampton: what do users think?
sharon frost: Frozen food and an executive director who hides in her office and does absolutely nothing all day
Denisse Davila: MISS WORKING THERE...I ALSO MISS MY RESIDENTS THERE WERE VERY NICE CARING
suzanne farrington: Michael, the new director, is outstanding, and activities are expanding in an exciting direction. Christopher Heights is an attractively furnished building in a great neighborhood and a great city. The place has had some ups and downs, but I feel they're finding their footing now. I have family at Christopher Heights and many residents and those on staff have begun to feel like family. For us, it's the best alternative to having a loved one at home if 24 hour available help is needed.
Elizabeth Buteau: A wonderful place for my brother who was in need of assisted living. He loved his apartment and had his three meals in a beautiful dining room. Other wonderful areas, the reception, entertainment, and the pub. He was a participant in the coral exercise group. He enjoyed many of the activities. His companions (aides) helped him whenever he needed. He loved being at this home. If one has a family member (brother/sister, mother/father) in need of assisted living, I encourage them to contact Denise Joans, Director and make an appointment to visit. You will be received with much warmth and will enjoy your visit.Tony B.Manchester, NH
Timothy Diehl: Here is a hidden jewel among assisted living communities in western Mass. I have had the pleasure of working here for almost three years before retiring. Yes the facility is beautiful, inviting and well maintained. Yes the food is delicious. Yes the companions (aides) are kind and capable. The activities are varied and plentiful. Everyone is committed to quality care. All this in an environment where residents don’t have to worry what happens when their assets are gone. They remain in their apartment and continue receiving their services due to an innovative approach to funding assisted living by Grantham Corporation. And all this is located in the beautiful Village Hill neighborhood close to downtown Northampton. I’ve reserved my apartment for the future! You’d be lucky too if you or a loved one were here! Don’t miss checking out this wonderful place filled with amazing residents!!
Sandra V: To share my experience, I was social work intern/employee at Christopher Heights of Northampton for school, it was amazing and incredible experience. I learned so much, I gained a huge knowledge of knowing what it likes to work with seniors and Alzheimer’s. Everyone who worked there was so nice and respectful. They made me feel like part of their team and their home. It was such a friendly and positive environment filled with laughs and smiles. I am so thankful that I got the opporunity being there and they are amazing!
Sally Fenton: Christopher Heights is a safe a pleasant assisted living facility that provides assistance for my Mom in her daily activities. We had enough trust that the support would be appropriate that we were the first to “sign up” more than 2 years ago. All new businesses have challenges, Christopher Heights has managed them well and I have even more confidence and peace of mind now and would register my Mom again. Great facility, great personal care attendants, great residents and good food in a beautiful area and safe environment and my Mom is happy........what more could we ask?
Lisa Marie Toro: Poor management
