Mercy Medical Center: Emergency Room: what do users think?
raiza domenech: Muy bueno y excelente trato X eso no lo cambio
vidal morales: This the best hospital around this area Doctors and nurses with very professional knowledge
Lee Russell: Short wait to be seen in ER. Great both doctors took great care of me.
Sarah Wilson: God, the physician assistant I saw made me cry because she made me feel that my asthma symptoms weren’t “as bad” compared to other patients that she has seen in the past. Like you shouldn’t be comparing the patient YOURE seeing in front of you and comparing their level of care to others. She basically implied that by asking for the medicine that I know would work for MY BODY, (which I have been dealing with asthma my whole life I know it well enough when it’s bad FOR ME).She said I was fine cause all my “vitals and X-rays were normal” yet I was still so wheezy. She gave me a lecture to think about what I’m doing on a “systematic” approach. Yeah, well I wish doctors would treat patients as INDIVIDUALS first. So of course when she said all this it made me panic and have anxiety/cry/hyperventilate and her and the nurse (who was really sweet though) had the nerve to say that “it could just be your anxiety” when in reality i had anxiety because yet again, I was gaslight by doctors. Something really needs to be done about physicians having more empathy for the patients that are directly in front of them and to not compare their struggles to others that seem to “have it worst”. Just because my symptoms may not be “as bad” compared to the norm does not mean that I was not struggling. I’d rather go to a Boston ER and back then have to deal with Mercy ever again.
ANDINO'S ACUARIOS PLUS MA.: The first thing i want to say is I wish I could give 0 stars, for the simple reasons that I arrived in a ambulance and they made the paramedics wait for them to check me in, for then to put me in the waiting room for 4 hours and 30 mins. After doing just one call to the CEO, they called me in within 3 min and they treated me like if I was a king. The front desk employees were very rude.
Shaneka O'Neal: I wish there was an option to give zero stars. I brought my daughter to the ER as she was in visible pain, crying, eyes pink, etc. Security was nice & escorted us where we needed to be. The check-in person was having a personal conversation not even noticing we were standing there until I said, "HELLO can we check-in?!" She tells me there's a 3-4 hour wait if she's considered Fast Track, meaning she doesn't require a stretcher. What type of foolishness is that? My daughter's in pain?... Left in a hurry for a hospital in the Boston area (70+ miles away). Zero wait time, and we were back home within the time she would've been seen at that disgrace of an ER within Mercy Medical.
Priscilla Perez-Nunez: The worst service! This place is definitely not what it used to be. The staff in the front are inconsiderate, rude, slow and sloppy. Healthcare at this place is not priority! I am utterly discusted.
Mary Clark: Hostile, overly aggressive and angry staff member/nurse in ER asking questions and not accepting my answers and badgering me repeatedly asking the same thing but not allowing me to answer them. Speaking down to me rudely at first and then displaying a progressively abusive attitude. I asked how I could exit the building and was told that I could find it myself because I am a grown man. Very disrespectful and abusive behavior. Kayla at the check out desk doesn't seem to know anything but her name. I wanted to know how I can speak to the administrative member who is the compliance officer. Nobody is interested in answering that question either or helping me reach that person.
Zack Morris: So sad that they don't even get the chance to get a good review. They would not let my wife and I go see her grandfather who is very sick because we had our kids who are under 2. They charge an arm and a leg and then tell us we can't see our loved ones.
roger ball: II went to the E.R. with severe pain to my right hip. No input exam. Got x-ray and CAT scan. Told my problem was arthritis, had to get a cortisone shot. After a 30 SECOND exam by orthopedic P.A. the next day, was told the problem was NOT arthritis but simple inflammation. Time spent at E.R. a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.
Jose Juarbe: I had the worse experience in this hospital I had a swollen troat and heart pain was there for 7 and a half hours and only witness alot of people including myself leaving upset I recommend people to stay far away from this hospital the worker and the security love talking about the personal life if u don't believe me go witness for yourself there so many workers standing around doing nothing with empty rooms is like the waiting to clock out and leave home there atitute is ugly they where rude to everyone oldely people veterans aswell any one that ask for help is going to get treated poorly am a visitor to Springfield and never had nothing bad to say about any.hospital but this one is the most guetto hospital I ever been too
Jorge Gonzalez: Why two stars? Because i am hard of hearing and i wear hearing aids. It’s really not my fault that it bothers them when i politely ask to repeat what they / them just said. Sometimes it gets me angry when i see facial expressions of annoyance. Makes me just wanna punch them 😡😡😡
olivia feliciano: Terrible bed side manners the nurses in the front desk at emergency are terrible rude people pretty much making it seem like no one is in pain here so sad how the medical field have careless nurses
Yvonne T: Long wait as with any ER, but efficiently run & great staff!
Justino Castillo: When you have defib patches stuck on the floor and it didn't come from my visit and it's in my room.... floors look like they have not been touched in days....DISCUSTING this supposed to be the cleanest place of all an emergency room really MERCY!!! I didnt even want to be seen but didn't have a choice
V l a d Grechka: Genuinely saving lives. Thank you! May God bless this organization.
Ann-Marie Stanford: My son is a college student close by. He had a head injury a few weeks ago and has PCS - then yesterday experienced 12 hours of vomiting...went to Mercy ER on the advice of his Dr. for fear of brain bleed/complication. He was there for 7 hours, never got a room, was placed in a chair in the hallway, CT wasn't done until he'd been there 5+ hrs, staff came by and asked if he'd gotten any medication for the vomiting and severe headache - then he was promptly forgotten again. No medication was given to him until he was about to leave. Unbelievable. He not only did not feel taken care of but had to continue to ask for help while there. He left with a horrible headache, stomach cramps and dehydrated. They told him to go get some Gatorade (at 4 am with no car?!) They did not even provide more than a dixie cup of water. Home for him is 3000 miles away. Maybe just a bad night but a horrible experience.
Regal Randy: one of the security guards threatened to kill a patient and mocked this old lady with dementia with a nurse. It was a horrifying and shocking experience.
Jaylis Morales: I have been to this hospital many times and have done well; until yesterday when they told me that I have to wait 5 hours in the waiting room. So is it an emergency room or a waiting room? I had to leave because I have my daughters taking care of them; I'm going for my emergency. but I'm not going to wait 5 hours to be seen and 5 more hours to be discharged.🤦🏻‍♀️
kelvin torres: Terrible they make people wait so long then they bill them just to say take these an go
Jessica M Zayas: I personally like going to Mercy the ER is not that bad there are days that's over busy but the staff is very polite n helpful
