Shotland Sharp: what do users think?
Laura Krok-Horton: No more dull blades in my kitchen! I brought a few kitchen knives and an large machete to Jesse. He was able to sparpen everything efficiently, plus he got a 1/4" chip out of the machete. Clear communication, fast turn around, and the price is reasonable for the results. I highly recommend his services.
Ben Rosser: Jesse is meticulous and talented. My Gransfors Bruk Hatchet with a ding in the blade was brought back good as new and sharper than it ever has been. Can’t wait to have my Japanese chefs knives sharpened next!

Smith & Wesson Corporation: what do users think?
Mopar3101: Bought a new Smith and Wesson Model 41 Performance Center. Slide is crooked and canted. Called their customer service and the lady was rude and condescending. Spent 1540.00 on a premium, Performance Center, .22 target pistol and I'm surprised it made it out of the factory, let alone the Performance Center in such rough shape. Used to checking cheap surplus AKs for straightness not 1500.00 target pistols. Gun was replaced with the help of local rep.
J W: Best customer service and guarantee out there. Happy customer here for past 25 years. Looking forward to the next 25 years.
Tucker Chonka: Do not purchase the sheild plus with optic cut. They put an intentional taper in the cut so the optic has a downward angle to it. Unfortunately the angle is so steep that the most optics do not have enough adjustment to zero. The optic also won't sit flush and you'll be able to see light theough the bottom. I sent a gun back twice and they failed to correct it. I will continue to avoid S&W products till this is resolved. Absolutely wild that engineering did this.
Chris Sizelove: You have to be kidding me.I just called in.I asked about repair services for a Model 14. The cylinder lockup is bad and it's missing the rear sight. I was then asked, "So, are you looking for grips?" (Which, that response didn't make sense at all). I remarked that I wasn't looking for grips, and that I'm looking for repair service. The line went dead.I was then hung up on.I called back.Hung up on.I called back.Hung up on.I called back.Hung up on.I called back.Got the message, "We're closed. Our hours are from 8am to 6pm Eastern." (It was 4:45pm Eastern ....)I have called back numerous times and still the message plays. I'm pretty put off by this, Smith & Wesson ...
J Dwyer: Love my M & P. Sad that the S & W website sent me to Amazon for a cap and said cap is Made in China for a USA handgun :(
Hockeymom #67: In 2010, We had come from the Springfield Armory where my grandfather used to be in charge of handing out weapons to the military. They said that Smith and Wesson gave tours. They called over and asked if we could come by for one. Just so happened they had one in 20min and we were the only ones. We had a full tour of the entire manufacturing line. Every guy and gal working were absolutely amazing! We got to see stuff that some never get to see or hold. They were very generous to our son when he was 12yrs old. Our tour guide was hilarious. He was very impressed with our son's knowledge of pistols andall weapons, really. I'm originally from Agawam and moved to FL in 85. So one vacation we stopped in for the tour. Florida has different laws that MA. So for a 12yo to know as much as he did, they were excited to have him on the tour. We couldn't of had a better time. They called the shooting range department for us to come over and pick out which gun we wanted. That was a great experience too. The instructor there helped my son with some of the higher caliper pistols. Those guys were great as well. USA made, from my big city area, met the guys who build them, was the greatest experience ever.Shortly after that they had stopped citizens from going to the range after a shooting had occurred.
Rdelaney17: I love my S&W shield I would Rely on to keep my family safe and also the fact it’s one of the oldest gun companies in US history and in made MA
Nils Geisse: This company is responsible for the deaths of millions of people and animals like no other company of people ever in the history of the world.
Christine Kinz: Very bad.
KI W: Very quick and complete responses to questions. Customer service is great and everything is fully supported / guaranteed. Very pleased with every interaction over the past 6 years. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.
Richie Fields: BUYER BEWARE! Like many merchants now, recent customer service and quality control is poor...nobody cares. I recommend inspecting and testing everything BEFORE you buy, and do NOT depend on warranty service to make things right. Warranty claims are a JOKE! Life-long customer or not, they will slow-roll you with cookie-cutter excuses and make you wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. In my case, TWICE they put my product on the shelf for 3 months before it was even looked at. Then they sent it back stating there was nothing wrong with it, despite a HUGE defect that should have been caught by quality control before shipping it out to the wholesaler. So back to their shop it goes, and sits on a shelf for another 3 months before its looked at a second time. This an unacceptably long period of time to resolve a cut-and-dried issue. Multiple returns back and forth until a half year or more passes is almost guaranteed and then if you bother them every week MAYBE they will do something. Sad. Very SAD state of affairs at S&W.
Jay Perez: Sent revolver back to get a canted barrel fixed and they reblued it too! Fantastic customer service.
Jeff Glasser: Bought one of the M&P flat faced trigger models with the optics ready cut and the pistol was damaged extensively before it left the factory. I was not allowed to inspect at my local FFL after buying from Buds. I explained in detail all the damaged areas on the phone with customer service at S&W to obtain a return mail label and RMA. My gun sat in the factory for weeks only to be test fired and sent back. Saying that it worked..... No where does my complaint state function is the reason for the work request.... I did not even get to shoot it before sending it in. I called to ask for it to be re evaluated by a manager. The service person told me it had already been picked up by FedEx. I asked to speak with a supervisor to get a new return label and RMA approval but the customer service person talked over me and refused to assist or connect me to another person until after I have received the weapon. Not only is quality assurance in the tanks at Smith and Wesson but customer service is slacking additionally. I can get to speak with a person much faster than a decade ago...but can't get my work needs handled.
sean azevedo: Awesome!!
Rob Habel: Bought a mp15 sport ran 28 rounds and the firearm jammed blew the mag out. S&W "claimed- it was a bad casing". Regardless if it was a warranty issue or not they DAMAGED parts that are PHISICALLY impossible to be damaged buy a "casing" told me to buy a new gun and never addressed my concerns. The individual that i talked with should never work customer service. I own and planned to purchase other Smith&Wessons but will Never again! Also other assessments show it was not a casing failure.
Tara Hardy: Sent in my 40 Cal M&P because it wouldn't fire, I received a call stating that it was not repairable and it was not a defect in the material or workmanship, they offer me another firearm for $264.52 plus 15.99 shipping. I declined they sent it back and I took it to a large cal gunshop and they cleaned it for FREE and now it works like new. I feel like they want this particular firearm because they no longer make them anymore and they wanted to keep it for themselves🤦🏽‍♀️ go figure!!! Shame shame shame guess I'll do business with a more honest company from now on😡
Brent W: Purchased a new M&P 15-22. Got it home, broke it down per the manual and found rust on it. The seller didn’t care and S&W seems willing to fix but not concerned about quality control, their retailers, or the customer’s experience. This was my first and likely last S&W.
Brian Ramp: Wonderful facility!
CRUCITO CRUZ: A very good work environment. Everyone is very friendly and helpful in training new employees welcoming. Thank you.
Felix Andino: Massachusetts Disneyland for guns lover...
TheEyeOfStone: It's not their products necessarily, but they're customer service is a bad joke which is its own punchline. Standoffish, manifestly unhelpful and very uninterested in helping. Shameful, for a major firearms manufacturer, I would have expected A LOT better from their customer service dept.
