Amanda Lucas: What a pleasant staff! The yarn selection is amazing, and if you go into the basement they have discounted pattern books! I never skip this stop. I buy a lot of notions, patterns and needles from them.

Julia Bissell: Wonderful yarn shop! Staff was so kind and helpful with my child who wants to learn to crochet.
Hannah Carroll: This place is awesome! The staff is very kind and passionate about what they sell, like Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift. In my opinion, I actually really preferred this place to the much larger and more well-known WEBS, both in terms of my own yarn taste and in the service I received here.
Alvilda Sophia Anaya-Alegría: The place is cozy and very welcoming. Tons of colors.
Darla Krebs: Great yarn shop and location--right in the heart of wonderful Northampton. Always lovely yarns in stock, and so handy for notions and things when I've just needed to pop in. Grateful for its existence, and have always been treated kindly there.
Sherry K Loves Yarn & Crochet (The Happy Hooker): My friend & I stopped in on 2/13/21 we both have YouTube channels. She is Affordably Crafty and I am Sherry K Loves Yarn & Crochet. Barney Simon: A shop really has to have something special to be two blocks from a competitor, and this shop does not disappoint! The warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere provides a relaxing and secure vibe. The comfortable seats in the window provide a nice well lit work area, and the cheerful staff make this a great store.
Delia Nash: Cozy shop, very helpful folks. Pkenty of experience hete.
E L: Nice local yarn store, large variety of yarns, friendly service, convenient location. I notices some social knitting activities as well. It was our second visit to this store in a year or so, and I am planning to come back soon. Highly recommended.
Lynn Kingston: how does one explain about Northampton wools and Linda? i have been thinking about this for days. my experience as i walk toward the shop with the baskets of wool outside the door varies daily. i often feel as if i am taking a step back in time.......to when?.......not sure.....but i feel home in a good way. other times i am nervous ......i've made a mistake maybe.......forgotten how to do something.....BUT i always leave feeling i accomplished something........i learned something!.now i mustn't forget to mention Linda the center of Noho wools.......she is complicated [aren't we all].......i don't think there is anything about knitting or crocheting that she can't figure out. she is the hardest worker i know. she is often doing 20 things at a time and doing them well most of the time. she is an excellent teacher. sometimes a little stern with compassion and when needed , always generous with her time, where else can you walk in to a shop and ask for help on a project and there she is ready to set you straight [not straight in that way but you know what i mean] ? also a place where we are all focused on creating , helping and encouraging each other . a place away from the crazy world we live in. a safe place .Linda makes that happen and if you don't get that right away keep coming ....you will see what i mean shortly. i am so grateful for Linda and her staff and other knitters..........i love it there......we need more places like this. PS i forgot to mention the beautiful yarns from all over and local , amazing colors and textures ...... PPS i forgot to mention the great and varied classes. she teaches them all. she's amazing. take a class. you'll see what i mean and you'll be hooked like me . by the way knitters are nice people . i'm wanting that to rub off on me also . i can feel it happening along with my improved knitting skills.
Madeleine Monat: Love this "knitters paradise." Have been taking lessons with Linda, the owner, since "03". I have learned so much and am so grateful to her. She never loses patience and can sort thru all kinds of problems, even pattern errors. I am terrible combining colors and she always comes thru for me. I stop in any time I am "stuck" and she is more that willing to help out. I don't have to wait for the next class to resolve problems with my projects. Love the new store. Knitting as it should be. Down home, cozy, friendly, stress free knitting.
syd adams: beautiful yarns.....but rude...very short ...not pleasant at all...seemed as though they were being bothered....made me feel as though I did not belong in their store.... I just went and spent my money at webs and I continue to do so....larger selection and very nice and helpful

Knit Two-Gether LLC: what do users think?
Emily Asbury: Really welcoming space and owner. Got everything I needed (and more!) for my fall knitting projects.
Mischelle BB: I went in the store for the first time and I was extremely happy :) I brought in a current project and asked for advice and I was able to get very helpful advice. The yarn selection is great, the people there were very welcoming, and overall it was a great experience. I got beautiful yarn too!
Diana Bradley: The shop itself is cozy, and the staff is very nice, there's a cute little pupper that greets you at the door when you walk in. They will order stuff for you if they don't have it.
Amanda Luurtsema: Beautiful selection if yarns of various weights and materials & myriad patterns with completed samples all around the shop. Over years of going to this shop, the gals have been helpful to customers just stopping in, whether determining what materials to use or a question about a pattern. It's disconcerting to say I do not recommend trying to join folks sitting at the large table working on projects. Over multiple visits in 2019, found to be surprisingly unwelcoming, rude and even cruel - which sounds ridiculous, speaking of a yarn shop. Due to repeated experiences of someone dear to me, I will not return to this shop.
Khrystyne Keane: I love exploring yarn shops. This place has super friendly people and a great selection of yarns. I will definitely be back!!!
Pauline Shamonis: This is a great place to come and knit .. Everyone is so friendly and treat you you great. Had a nice time.. come vist and sit and knit... Luv luv luv luv this place...
Maria Glidden: Little yarn shop with an assortment of really nice quality yarns. The service is outstanding. Prices are good will keep going back there every time I need yarn for a project.
JesseJane: This is a lovely little knitting, crocheting and supply shop, tucked into the corner of the same small mall as Rein's Deli. They carry gorgeous yarns, from lower-end acrylic to cotton, on up to high-end silk and cashmere. Whenever I've been there, there are usually at least a few people sitting around a table in the back of the shop, knitting and chatting. So it's a friendly place to be. When I've been waited on, they are very helpful and knowledgeable, without making me feel like someone is breathing down my neck. In addition to the beautiful items they have for sale, they also offer classes. They also have knitting groups for those who already know how and just want some company while working on their projects. One last bit of information: I am in a wheelchair. It's a little hard to get into the store in a manual chair (though not in my power chair), but when they see me coming, they are quick to open the door for me. They are also happy to move any objects that are in my way. All in all, this shop is quite a treasure!

WEBS - America's Yarn Store: what do users think?
Kate Chapman: A trip to WEBS is a pilgrimage to be savored. They have something for everyone from the most luxurious yarn to the basics. Often, yarn will be accompanied by a knitted swatch so you can see how it works up and even a sample garment complete with a tag specifying the pattern used. There's a wonderful pattern book area with a small table and chairs for browsing plus a tower full of gorgeous buttons. There's even a weaver's section. In the back of the store is a warehouse-style area with rows and rows of beautiful yarn, some deeply discounted, plus several tables and chairs. The women's room is always clean and stocked. There are even vending machines for water and sodas. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The tools and accessories department is adequate; there's a large selection of knitting needles and crochet hooks; and the parking lot is enormous. The summer sidewalk sale is under a string of tents to protect against any weather and is loaded with bargains and lots of competition to get them. It's easy to spend hours there and walk away with a bag of goodies you won't find anywhere else plus tons of inspiration and good feelings. A short walk into downtown Northampton gets you to numerous restaurants and cafés to recharge your batteries. There's more shopping there, too. What a great way to spend a day. ❤️
Kathryn Allen: Selection excellent. Shipping is very slow!
Mimi Hassett: Fun place to visit for all kinds of fiber products to make. I loved the yarn selection and prices
Ada REITER: A real heaven for knitter
Lois Gallagher: Vast and wonderful selection. Great helpful service too! 👍🏻
Rory Morrison: Hands down one of my favorite places to shop in the area. Staff are always helpful, and the selection is great. Do yourself a favor and shop here!
L Madore: Update: Given the owner's response, I'm updating this to 4-starts. Only docking a star because I feel like it shouldn't have taken a 1-star review to resolve this. Thank you!Customer service is not what it used to be. I asked to be called on an order (in order notes), however the order was shipped without a phone call. Had I received the call, I could have made the corrections necessary to the order that needed to be made. Now I have to place a second order...more shipping and can't reach the discount level. Asked to have the discount honored given the circumstances and all I was told was "sorry, not able to do that." I'll be shopping locally from here on out.
John Skorupski: Best selection of yarn and accessories around.
Linda Preston: Webs has the best selection of yarn! Everyone who works there is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what they sell. When I needed several skeins of yarn for a sweater, someone volunteered to check the stock to make sure all of my skeins would be of the same dye lot.
Deb Van: Disclaimer: I'm a knitter, so I mostly pay attention to supplies related to my own craft. WEBS carries pretty much everything in the way of tools and accessories I could need, plus a huge variety of yarn in all weights and colors, mainly of higher quality. Beyond knitting, they stock supplies for crochet, spinning, and weaving. They do not stock the most common bargain brands of yarn that you find at Walmart, Michael's, Jo-Ann's, etc. They DO have an extensive close-out/bargain section, which can be checked out online as well as in person, where I have found some lovely yarns at prices that my somewhat limited budget can accommodate, plus regular sales. There is a house discount of 20% that applies when purchasing more than $60 of eligible full-price yarn, 25% off purchases exceeding $120. Their house brand, Valley Yarns, is well-known and respected. They now have an in-store pickup option to their website, which as far as I know is a new convenience for us locals, although there is a delay between order and pickup to allow for transport from their warehouse in the next town. The staff, in my experience, is friendly and knowledgeable.( I checked out a job application for the store when I was planning my move to this area a few years back; crafting experience was something they looked for, and it shows.) Another feature is their own app, which functions well and simplifies both research and shopping.
K Rinehart: A yarn addict's heaven. They showed hubby the comfy chairs, where the restrooms were, where to find coffee, and then took me on a tour of the store and warehouse!
Shay G: Unwelcoming “front-of-house” experience on my first in-person trip here.No one was working on the floor, the 4 cashiers at the front ignored me for a time despite the lack of other customers, and when I finally asked one of them my question she bellowed across the warehouse for someone else to come talk to me. So jarring — it would be nice if they used an intercom system/radio/literally anything other than suddenly screaming by your head to get you to the right person.
J: If you're looking to buy a knitter a gift and are clueless about yarn this is the place to go. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and are willing to help, look up patterns, recommend yarns... And they've got stuff for all price ranges to.
Anne Buckmaster (TheKrazySheep): Always a pleasure to visit WEBS! Picked up some great yarns.
Heather McQueen: It's the best! Lots and lots of beautiful yarn and lovely staff to help you.
Dale Ianni: We went for my wife. If you are interested yarn this place has it all!!!
Lee C: Great people! If you can't find what you need here, it may not exist!
Clare Consavage: An amazing place with so much selection! We took my step daughter (who crochet & knits) to this place and I don't do any fabric arts but this place made me want to! I bought some beautiful wool for "felting" or maybe maybe "wet felting."
Roger Huebner: If you are reading this and don't already know about WEBS be ready to be overwhelmed when you get there.Amazing staff and the deals..... Put on comfortable shoes you'll be strolling the back warehouse trying to decide what projects you'll be using all your finds on
Deb Deb: Holy Yarn! Go Here!!
Neil Halin: Hell, it's Webs. Oh, and they have husband chairs up front and wifi to pass the time waiting while your wife is list in all the yarn choices.
