I witnessed a rude customer giving the staff a hard time and it was upsetting to watch. This staff is so patient with the public,especially a gal named Tiffany. NANCY: I frequent this UPS store on Riverdale Road at least a few times a month and it's about time I write a review for the awesome staff at this location. I have been in numerous times and I have witnessed how rudely the staff is treated by a large portion of their clientele. The staff is just trying to do their jobs. Tara, Shawn & Tiffany go above and beyond in providing excellent customer service! They take the time to explain to customers how to properly pack their returns and also advise that the instructions are provided in their emails as well. I go to this location because of their superior customer support. They're always very friendly- service with a smile. Keep up the great work! Great job in keeping your composure too. I just got out of the hospital - my best friend died, I asked for help on two pair jeans that were the same retrieved the codes - but was very rude. I know these pass two years have been tough but this does not give anybody the right to laugh at a crying woman. I will never return. Just look at the reviews of this place. How can this place keep operating - they are terrible to their customers - they will get it in return - karma goes around, but would it not be nice just to be kind while doing you job?

Trish Baez: Went to drop off 2 items being returned to Amazon. Said no package or box required. There were 2 items, same saller, to 2 return codes. The girl only scanned 1. I asked her and she said there is only 1 package, that is how I received 15 minutes ago! Just scan both codes. After trying to explain to her I simply took the Items out of the envelope and threw it away. She then scanned the other code and asked where my packaging was. Not needed I saidand walked out. They are very very rude there and lack any common sense. Won't be back.

Tariq Faridi: My package was fully packed. I just needed maybe 4 inch piece of tape for the package today beflre shippimg, 4 INCHES, and Diane at the front desk said I need to pay $2 for it. She said I have a QR code for return so customer has to package it fully otherwise they'll charge 2 dollars. My item was fully packed,, I just needed a 4 inch piece of tape. I asked to speak to a manager and she said manager is not here, and the other person there also said it's a policy. They clearly lack common sense , to make exceptions in certain situations. I have shipped alot of things because of my business from UPS and I was never asked to pay $2 for a tiny piece of tape. I asked her if she can just put the tape today and Noelle that I know I will make sure it's fully packaged, but she didn't accommodate. Next time I'll choose PICK ITEM from my hiuse for Amazon returns instead of me dropping it off. Not visiting this UPS store, they can come to my house.Dear owner, my item was PACKAGED AND SEALED. I just needed a 4 inch tape, and it was right on the table which she didn't let me use. I even told her I didn't know about this policy in the future ill make sure it's fully sealed. Sarah Jayleen: one of the employees named ERIC was very unprofessional and disrespectful when I dropped of my package. I came in with 2 packages and as I was coming in he rushed to the door and spoke in a very HIGH tone "WE ARE CLOSING SO THIS BETTER BE QUICK" Sir its not my problem the door was not closed. I find this comment very inappropriate. NOONE should be spoked to like this. I find this very disrespectful. I work in the healthcare field and patients come in late however I would NEVER speak like this to any of my patients. WHO SAYS SUCH A THING LIKE THIS TO CUSTOMERS??

Pack your boxes better and you won't have any broken goods and if it does break it's 90% of the time the delivery person dropping or throwing the package, not the clerks in the office.This location is amazing. The staff are always polite and courteous and answer any questions I have. bill Miller: My wife dropped off a heavy package at this location & went back to the car to get another package for drop off & told me she saw the girl behind the counter take the heavy package and push it off the of the scale onto the counter top & then onto to the floor causing the package to hit the floor making a loud noise when it hit the floor. I do not know of the package is broken or not, but I already reported this to the buyer of the package & I am going to report this to Usp main headquarters as well. I have had a large package break in the mail with this Ups store in the past & they should not intentionally push a customer's package on to the floor from a high distance & should get help carrying the package if it is too heavy for them to carry ( my wife weighs about 120lbs & carried this package in by her self from my car. No reason this worker could not have gently lowered it to the floor rather than push it off of the counter . This is ridiculous & I would like this package back so it can be inspected for damages! And after reporting this to my customer he is upset with me!

For those that complain about be charged for the taping of packages, I beg to differ. When you go to a restaurant, do you get food for free or do you have to pay? Of course they have to charge you for taping. It’s a business. Supplies cost money.

A true family owned American business. Maybe all the bad review are meant for the UPS store located in East longmeadow & people put the bad reviews here for the Longmeadow location by mistake ( The East Longmeadow Ups store is terrible & deserve all the negative reviews) but I have dealt with 3 or 4 Ups stores in the past & 3 FedEx stores too & I can tell you these people in Longmeadow are the best. They will bend over backwards to help people out. I drive from East Longmeadow ( and i live 1 street away from the East Longmeadow UPS store) & I drive way of my way just to deal with the Longmeadow UPS store because the East Longmeadow location is so bad & this store is great!

On top of that, they move incredibly slow with zero sense of urgency, while a line starts to form out the door.Now, I don't live in town, so I'm not familiar with Longmeadow's mask mandate. Anyways, I walk into a busy setting, just barely through the door without my mask on (vaccinated and no mask required where I live) and I am immediately singled out, and yelled at across the store by one employee, who completely stopped what she was doing with a customer just to focus on me. "You need to leave the store immediately, you don't have a mask on, you have to wear a mask!" She yelled. All customers turned around in bewilderment knowing my intent was not malicious, I was simply uninformed of an updated mask mandate recently issued in town. I totally understand these crazy times involving covid but there are way more professional and non-aggressive ways to tell me I require a mask, I would have complied and head back to my car for my mask. Instead I went to east longmeadow without any issues, mind you masks aren't mandated in that town.Never had any issues in EL only here in longmeadow. I was also yelled at, at the very beginning of covid when masks became a requirement. Again, was unaware at that point in time too. All said and done, I will no longer patronize this place. All other UPS stores will do.

This most recent time I opened the door and was literally screamed at for not having a mask on. Leaving aside the lunacy on vaccinated adults wearing masks, the attack for simply opening the door without one on was enough to NEVER return here and make sure my friends and family never do either. There is a UPS drop box at the medical buildings on Dwight for Amazon returns and east Longmeadow has a UPS store as another option. No one needs this place.

When I went to my appointment, I was told the notary wasn't there. Very frustrating, but I still decided to give them another chance. So I booked another appointment at this place. However when I showed up for my appointment, AGAIN, I was told the notary wasn't there!! Unbelievable! What's the point you require customers to book appointments online for the service but not honor it? Obvious they don't respect their customers at all. Why should we give them business? The one at East Longmeadow has much better service, a big plus from them is you do not need to book any appointment for the notary. You can just show up with your IDs.

Do you even read the news? We have record low unemployment, so please just stop it, Karen. She said this to my face as 4 employees behind the customer service desk were literally doing NOTHING but talking to each other and the store was EMPTY. If nobody wants to work, it applies to your coworkers/ employees. People are working- but obviously not there (just collecting a paycheck). It was pulling teeth to just get a staff member to unlock the drills, which we couldn't buy because they were display. She then searched for the 2 drills on a high shelf via the ladder... One. At. A. Time. She literally went down to tell me they didnt have the first one then back up the ladder to search the same area for the second drill. She was having trouble remembering. Um, ever heard of pen and paper??? Or even the most basic-level principles of efficiency ??? 45 minutes after we got there (we came to buy just the 2 drills and we knew what we wanted right off) as we are being rung up, I asked the cashier a question (I hadn't previously addressed her) and she refused to even answer. Rude and must be poorly brought up. Another "worker" was literally just leaning on the counter with her elbow on it and her head resting in her other hand, doing NOTHING, just watching the cashier and me and nothing else...not moving even an inch even once in the entire 10 minutes we were being rung up. Talk about being disgracefully LAZY. I was so close to asking her, "Don't you have any work to do????" Listen, I had s#!t jobs too, where I was 10 hours on my feet but never once did I ever think this bad attitude and horrible way of treating customers was ok. If I acted like you, I would have lost my job. You are lucky to be collecting a paycheck at all. It's obvious that the management does not care.

eb bush: I was renting a vehicle and they disabled the truck so been calling talking to managers for days with nothing being done so I called my triple a to get it towed back to the store when triple a got there they did a walk around the truck and then told me they couldn’t touch the vehicle because it’s not registered and they showed me it expired in 2022 so I called the store manager and he told me he would get back to me never did so I called corporate today and they said they would reach out to store manager and have them call me that never took place then I just got a call for me to take care of the balance so they are renting out trucks that are not legal to drive and putting customers at risk if you look at sticker on license plate clearly it says 2022

Website says stuff is in stock, drive 15 miles. Not in stock. The website works OK but regular items are hard to find, even with the app. Especially small items in bins, plumbing, fasteners etc. Mostly because customers out stuff back in the wrong place because they don't know what it is in the first place. Some cashier's avoid contact when no-one else is in line. I understand the staffing shortages, and usually am polite and lenient. Now I just stick to polite and write a review. Now, I'm entirely PO'd that that new 18" Husky battery chainsaw is impossible to find the cost of a spare battery in the website & the store. Everyone that ever used a battery tool knows you need a spare in a charger for when the tool one goes dead. That's how work gets done. Not everybody is a amateur! Been a Husky, Stihl guy for over 40years. Got a little Kobalt to try. But just for branches. Oh well. Ryobi here I come. That isn't on the local store either. That issue is deceptive corporate policy. You won't even show your plastic outdoor chairs on the website so we can tell if it's Adirondack or flat. Another 30 mile round trip waste of time. Even Rocky's can put a picture on their site.
Paul Dermond: This place is horrific. The mouse smell is eye watering. I don’t know how this place has not been sued or shut down. The management here is abysmal and the employees are constantly stressed dealing with the broken systems at Lowe’s that appear to be dated by several decades. Shopping here is never as efficient as it should be or convenient. There is a reason everyone calls Lowe’s “the Walmart of home improvement stores.” Walmart does things even better than Lowes, so that’s not really an insult anymore.
Lisa & Robert: Terrible!!! The salesman Mark was great and very knowledgeable. When it came to the delivery and installation,that was a nightmare. It started with the fact that the wrong prong plug for the dryer was ordered. When we realized this 2 days before delivery, we called customer service to take care of the problem and switch the plug for us. They kept transferring us back and forth between the Appliance department and customer service because nobody knew how to do their job. We got hung up on, called back and was told they would have extras on the truck and the delivery installation guys would take care of it. Delivery day comes, ask the guy if they have extra cords they said no, said call the store and another truck would come with the right cord and install it. These guys didn’t install anything and left both units in the middle of the basement floor! We called the store they said they couldn’t do anything today, they can send someone tomorrow. We have jobs and have to go to work that’s why we scheduled the delivery install on the weekend. They were rude, and unwilling to correct anything. I am highly annoyed and disappointed in the Springfield, MA Lowe’s. There are good helpful people there, but the ones who don’t care about their job or helping people totally takes away the good employees efforts. This was a real horrible experience.

James Rudolph: Scheduled a measurement for carpeting. Was given an 8-12 window for the person to come. 12:40 rolls around and no update, call the person assigned and they claim they had car trouble. Said they would reach back out to reschedule, no call, no service. No thanks

jamie roberge: Kind of the same as every other Lowes. They did have 2 packages of the 8" green scotchbrite pads I needed. Only 2 though and then sold out. I also don't like not having at least one register with real person working. The self check out, every person in front needed the attendants help with her key. So speedy check out is not their fourtay.
