Kyra Brown: i think irene and the girls are so sweet and the shop is nice and clean, but besides that it'd have to be a no go. i went twice, once for a weave and once for a dye job. the weave (between hair purchasing and installment) cost $400, was dyed a completely off color (i wanted ginger, it was bright orange), and caused clumps of my hair to fall out. the dye job seemed alright at first, but when i left the shop the color wasn't my natural color. i should've went back and asked for it to be dyed correctly. i pretty much had to buzz my head both times to salvage my hair.if you have looser hair, go for it. but for kinky or coily natural hair, i wouldn't recommend going here. i really wanted to like this place. again, sweet girls who know what they're doing in some cases but not really with all hair types.

The prices are great and fair as well. I live in Vernon CT and I drive there just because the service is worth it.
Kimberly Santiago: Booked an appointment for 10 am and no one showed. The stylist got the appointment dates confused. Mistakes happen and I get that. But this was my first time here and it just does not leave a good first impression. It was my only morning off and available time before a trip and booked a week or a little less in advance. Now I will be going on my trip without my hair cut and blow dried like I had hoped.

Nicole Henry: Took my daughter here for a deep conditioning treatment and help with her hair. She has very thick curly hair that I have a very hard time with. She had a huge knot right at her scalp that I just could not get out. The girls here we're amazing , Heather took her time with my daughter and her hair came out amazing. She even put some beautiful braids in her hair with pretty red clips. This was my non pay week so i was tight on cash and they worked out a price that i could afford and that i am grateful for. The atmosphere at the salon was very pleasant. It was clean , everyone that worked there was so nice and accommodating ! I will definitely return and recommend this salon .

A: I don’t know where to start. From the customer service, to the lash extensions, to the experience itself, Chung’s beauty is for sure the way to go! Meaghan Serafin: My sister and I went to Liz for a makeup tutorial on Feb 18th. We brought our own makeup with us and our tools and Liz walked us through application and colors on half our face and then had us do our other half. It was very informative and hands on. She showed us how to apply makeup in a way that enhances our features. I have been to many salons for makeup application and always felt like I walk out with a pile of makeup on that was too dramatic and they wanted me to buy their products. IGCM Wedding: Go with Liz for your wedding makeup (or any occasion!!!). Liz did my makeup at my wedding in the Berkshires last month, and without question it is by the far the most I've ever loved a makeup look on myself. I just love everything that she did so much and really feel that she made me look like me but cooler! My friend getting married next summer told me it is now her aspirational wedding look. I ended up not doing a trial beforehand, and just brought a couple of photos of some looks I liked -- I'm not a very experienced makeup wearer. But I just felt in such good hands with Liz and could not be happier with how it turned out. Margaret Price: Liz has done two makeup sessions for me, eight years apart, for professional headshots. She is truly amazing. I don't like to look "made up," but I'm pretty vain about things like my neck wrinkles, and my deep-set eyes, and she made me look absolutely gorgeous, in a low-key, natural way. She is also really funny and accommodating; I brought a certain amount of anxiety to both sessions, and she made the whole thing so easy and fun. Finally, she is beyond reliable--she responds to inquiries immediately, consistently, and with full information. Liz is worth every penny--in fact, most makeup services of this caliber would charge twice as much. My next headshot (when I'll be in my 50s) will be with Liz again!

Liz is professional, easy, cool and an incredible makeup artist. She's done tons of work (editorial and wedding) but all that mattered to me was how beautiful she made me look. I asked for the Kim Kardashian look (yes it's true, I'm a little ashamed to admit it) and she delivered - my smoky eyes were amazing - she airbrushed my face and my skin looked natural and flawless, not caked on and fake. I absolutely loved it all, and Liz did an incredible job with my mom's and sister's makeup too (my sis said she looked better at my wedding than she did at her own wedding a few years back). The makeup lasted (I swear if I slept right I could've kept it going the next day lol). Nothing smudged, it all lasted through an emotional ceremony, sweaty Greek dancing, all of it. Liz rocks. B.F. Van: My sister and I had a formal event to go to recently and she went and got her make up done here, not only was the make up artist late for her appointment but then she did a HORRENDOUS job on her! She did not color match her skin even remotely close! She came home orange to the jaw line… she did not apply the lashes correctly, and her eye make up made her look like a drag queen from the projects, it was NOT what she asked for. And when she told the artist that she didn’t like it and it looked bad she claimed it was the lighting, she was so upset she ended up just paying and leaving and we literally washed her face and redid it when we got home. So when we messaged the owner to tell her how upset she was and asking if she could get a refund or credit or something, she blocked my sister for having “bad energy”. This is NOT how you run a professional business, this is not how you service clients nor how you treat people. If you choose to use this woman’s services, do so at your own risk and give yourself time in between your event to fix it yourself if need be.Service:Special occasion makeup

Taija New: I contacted Leandra (Lay) Rivera for my video shoot and I am extremely excited that I did. The work she does is worth every cent and I wouldn’t have changed a THING. We did our first look in the studio and she made sure everything from the foundation to the finishing touches were flawless. All other looks were done on the fly/on location and she did not disappoint! Each look she created was original and she was so thorough with every detail which made all the difference! I would reccomend going to her ANY time you want to look like a million bucks (Proms, weddings, photo/video shoots, night out on the town).
