Grace Ceremonies, Wedding Officiant: what do users think?
Amanda Sidman: Hannah coached my husband, me, and our chosen officiant through the process of creating a ceremony that I will never forget. She walked us through timelines, gave us concrete advice and samples, and asked us questions that helped prompt us to come up with our own ideas that made our ceremony our own and especially meaningful to us. She met with us several times for in-depth conversations, met with our officiant separately to help her prepare and feel confident, and was available to us for questions and concerns. I found it so helpful to have her look over our vows and offer edits and suggestions. I felt held through the process which I really needed. She went way above and beyond, and I would reach out to her for creating other sorts of ceremonies in the future as well. I feel so grateful to have found GraceCeremonies.
Samantha Boyden: Hannah was the officiant for my wedding 6 years ago. She did an amazing job. My husband and I still recall the meeting with Hannah during the wedding planning phase where she was gathering information to get to know us, as one of the most special experiences. She was helpful during our ceremony when I was reading my vows because she was taking deep breaths next to me to remind me to breathe and it was calming and helped to pace me. My husband and I had an anniversary ceremony earlier this year and Hannah came and did this as well and recalled so many details about our wedding and about us as a couple. It was truly special! I would highly recommend Grace Ceremonies!!
Sarah Ferguson: When it came down to choosing an officiant for our wedding - we had thoughts about asking someone close to us; like a friend or a family member but most of those people were already a part of our day in some way. So, when we began to think about hiring someone and only the best will do for such an important, love filled day. Hannah is truly the best in the business and she felt like part of the family as she officiated our ceremony so beautifully. She is kind, warm and an open book - any questions or stressors we had, she welcomed them, talked through them with us and that helped so many details fall into place. She makes a big effort to get to know you, your love story, your family dynamic and everything in between before preparing your ceremony. Leading up to our wedding day, she helped us with vows, how to relax, reminders to breathe during the ceremony and numerous other details of the day. My fiancé said it best after our sit down meeting with Hannah - she has a calming presence and voice that makes you relax and smile. We can’t thank her enough for being such an integral part of our wedding day. If you are on the fence about whether or not to hire a professional officiant - look no further, Hannah is best there is.
Fernando Ortiz: Everything we had hoped for!My dear friends had asked me to officiate their wedding, since I was the one that Introduced them to each other, which I eagerly accepted.Unfortunately, my time was all taken up with putting out fires in both my personal and professional life, so I found myself unable to take the necessary steps in a timely manner. After a long while of research and looking through several officiants, I was led to Grace Ceremonies, which immediately felt like the right choice. In a bit of a panic, I emailed Hannah and filled her in on the situation at hand, hoping for some advice, if not a miracle. She responded in a timely manner, immediately putting my mind at ease and offering advice. Over the next few days, we worked out a plan and my worries were all gone. She would perform a short civil ceremony to handle the legal portion and allow me to perform the actual ceremony as my friends, the bride and groom, wished. On the day of the wedding, I watched Hannah perform the short civil ceremony, and the way she had calmed the bride down almost immediately after she had started tearing up was something magical. Having seen the way she handled everything, a wave of calm washed over me, and I felt more confident than ever before. With that, and the advice and tips she had given before the ceremony, I was able to approach officiating the wedding of my two close friends without a worry in the world.I can not possibly thank Hannah enough for how much she has helped us and on such short notice. Having been the consummate professional through and through, she made us all feel so comfortable and worry free. That positive energy really carried out through the rest of the evening.I know I've said this many times, but thank you, Hannah, for your help in making a special day that much more special. If you are reading this to get an idea of whether or not you want to go with grace Ceremonies, I say to you, with unshakable certainty, that you will not regret choosing Grace Ceremonies.-Fernando Ortiz
Eliza Noyes: Hannah absolutely blew us away with helping us create the most perfect wedding ceremony. There were (happy) tears in our eyes from beginning to end, and it’s all thanks to her!We had no idea where to begin when we started planning our Berkshires ceremony, and who to have officiate. We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony without any religious elements, that centered on our love and the deep meaning of this commitment. We considered asking a friend or family member, but decided we wanted to try to find someone who had prior experience, so that the moment was sure to be as special as we wanted it to be. We found Hannah, and how lucky we are that we did! From the moment we first met with Hannah, we knew she would bring our love to life in our wedding ceremony. We loved every step of the process, appreciating how much she really took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple. She let us take as much time as we wanted, thinking through our readings, the ceremony structure, the music, and of course our vows, guiding us along with each part. The end result completely took our breath away – after vows that had us both crying, we had wedding guests coming up to us saying it was the most meaningful wedding ceremony they’d ever been to, and that they were crying right there along with us. Our wedding ceremony will forever be one of the most special moments of our life, and we have Hannah to thank for that.Picking Hannah to officiate your wedding ceremony is choosing to elevate and prioritize what makes your love special – you absolutely won’t regret it. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you Hannah!
Alex Gorniak: We recently worked with Hannah for our wedding this past spring. Hannah was truly a pleasure to work with. She guided us to feel prepared and supported for the wedding day. Throughout planning for the wedding, Hannah got to know Emma and I on a personal level, provided recommendations on how to make a ceremony inclusive for both families, and supported us as we wrote our own vows. Our ceremony was wonderful because of the time and effort Hannah put into helping us plan for the big day (during a pandemic nonetheless). Thank you for making our day so special, Hannah!
Kayla Donovan: Rev. Hannah officiated our small (fewer than 20 people) winter ceremony at the Inn on Boltwood and was great to work with! She made us feel comfortable and was really helpful in working with us to design a unique ceremony that was perfect for us. Afterwards, she sent a really thoughtful keepsake script of the ceremony.
Cameron Schmitz: Hannah married us this past May and we are so grateful that we used her for our officiant. From the very beginning, she was personable, genuine, and thoughtful. In all of our meetings with Hannah leading up to our ceremony, she was such a great listener and asked thoughtful questions, making us both feel completely heard and seen, creating trust and confidence in the process. Her suggestions were on point and helpful, while never feeling pushy with her own agenda for what our ceremony should look like. She was really attuned to who we are and what we wanted from the experience and always made sure to check in with us about what she understood from us. Hannah truly took the time to get to know us as individuals, as a couple and as parents to our blended family. Hannah guided us through everything leading up to the ceremony so that nothing was overlooked, making us feel safe, calm, peaceful and relaxed- which were exactly our hopes for our wedding! The service she wrote was more beautiful than we had imagined, that embodied our love and was a perfect reflection of who we are as a couple, making it apparent that she truly understood us. She thoughtfully and gracefully incorporated our children and family with tenderness and sensitivity. Our wedding ceremony was everything we wanted and more. We will cherish our vows, our ceremony and the process we shared with Hannah, for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful for Hannah shepherding us through the experience with such loving support and kindness. Darius & Cameron
Sofia Tavares-Zlock: Hannah is an incredible officiant! We are truly grateful to have her officiate our ceremony and being such a special part of our wedding day. Throughout our planning process and on our wedding day, Hannah was a calm, grounding presence. Our guests remarked how "zen-like" she was during our ceremony. She gained the attention of our guests in a respectful, kind way, while asking them to turn off their phones (per our request) to be fully present on our day. Our guests, were fully present and so were we, with Hannah's help! Hannah's very professional, replied to emails in a timely manner, and helped us fill in the gaps of our knowledge for planning a wedding ceremony. For example, she provided examples of wedding readings and ring vows. She is a wonderful listener and was really able to tell OUR story. She helped us make our dream ceremony come true. It was incredibly special for her to share our love story with our loved ones and our guests commented how wonderful she shared our story. Hannah is a remarkable story-teller, kind, and calm. Thank you Hannah!
Casey Coulter: Hannah at Grace Ceremonies gave our two beautiful babies an amazing non denominational blessing ceremony after a really difficult year with COVID in the midst. She was professional, respectful, communicative, and absolutely amazing. She included all of my family in readings, and even included my Mom who has Alzheimer’s & couldn’t do a reading. She made everyone feel special & I couldn’t have asked for anything better for our two sons. For all future ceremonies & celebrations we will absolutely be using her again & would recommend her to everybody. Thank you Hannah for everything you did for us to make a truly memorable beautiful occasion. 💕
Sarah Ely: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe cannot express our gratitude over June’s blessing. It fit us perfectly and captured exactly what we wanted to bless June with — love, kindness, thoughtfulness and the support of family. Working with Hannah was a joy and pleasure!
Teri Rutherford: I've had the pleasure of working with Hannah on a number of occasions (I'm a wedding planner), and her ceremonies are always so beautiful. She's always my top choice of officiants. When it came time to plan my own wedding the first thing I was certain on was that I'd like Hannah to perform the ceremony.Unfortunately she wasn't free the day of our wedding but we were still able to work with her through her ceremony consulting services. This meant we could have a love one perform the ceremony that Hannah had developed for us - really the best of both worlds. Our friend who officiated wasn't burdened with responsibility to create a ceremony from scratch. We chose to not read the entire script before and are so glad we were able to have such a meaningful, lovely surprise during the ceremony.Hannah made the process so easy and enjoyable for my fiancé and I and our officiant. Her presence is so calming and reassuring and I never had to worry that any details were falling through the cracks because in addition to being a talented story teller, Hannah has impeccable communication skills. In the future when I work with couples wanting to have a friend or family member perform their ceremony I'm definitely going to recommend they include Hannah in the process.Thank you so much for everything Hannah! With love,The Greenes
Kelly G: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessHannah was professional, down to earth and warm from the very beginning. She came to our home to perform a baby blessing for our son. She got to know us as a family and the ceremony was customized and unique to us. She gave us such fond memories, that we will keep with us forever.
Brett Hayes: Rev. Hannah Grace was so wonderful and thoughtful throughout the entire process with Kim and I from the Pre-wedding Zoom meetings, making great suggestions during every meeting, and topping it off by making it such a memorable ceremony for our private and intimate Wedding Day. She even went above and beyond to find a clear mask to allow to understand her better (hearing impared, lip-read). She is really all about making your day for what it is, a very special one. Thank you Rev. Grace!
Meera Sheldon: We were married on 10/15/20, and Hannah was provided to us inclusively as part our venue’s package. It could not have been a better choice from our venue. Our first facetime with Hannah got us really thinking about our vows and Hannah listened to our love story. The incredibly detailed script that Hannah provided us for our ceremony was something I went back to and referenced many times throughout the planning process. Fast forward to the big day, and Hannah transformed our love story into an absolutely beautifully personalized ceremony that made us as well as all our guests both smile and tear up throughout. Our ceremony went off without a flaw and we will be forever grateful to Grace Ceremonies!
Laura Chan: Hannah performed a baby blessing (more like a "toddler" blessing) for our 2 year old this past summer and it was truly outstanding. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The process of working with Hannah to prepare for the blessing inspired introspection and conversations within our marriage that deepened the process. She gracefully led us through reflections and preparations that allowed us to find more clarity and meaning in the ceremony than we had even anticipated. For the ceremony itself, Hannah had an incredibly grounded and loving presence and all of the friends and family members who participated in the ceremony commented on what a wonderful officiant she is. After the ceremony, she followed through with us to ensure that we had a lovely keepsake version of the written ceremony. Honestly, all of the details she thought through went above and beyond we could have imagined. Our family is so grateful to her and would highly recommend her services to anyone!
Kristy Gardner: Hannah officiated our "tiny wedding" in August 2020, with just our immediate families present. We connected with Hannah just a few weeks before the wedding, looking for an officiant who could accommodate us on short notice after our plans changed due to the pandemic. Hannah met with us by zoom to get to know us and to talk about what we wanted our ceremony to look like. She wrote a beautiful secular ceremony that was personalized and very true to us as a couple. We're so grateful to Hannah for helping to make our wedding a bright spot this year for us and our families. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking an officiant in Western MA!
Shannon Cruise: My husband and I worked with Hannah on our November microwedding and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. I am a professional planner and so I knew I wanted to work with Hannan even before I was engaged! Hannah brings such beautiful energy and heart to all parts of the process. She took the time to get to know us and to understand our values and goals for our ceremony. She brought lots of great insight and suggestions that helped us work through some of the logistical details and was so supportive as we navigated all the twists and turns of pandemic wedding planning. Having her there at our rehearsal was such a source of calm – and as a planner and bride – knowing it was completely in her hands was such a relief. On the day we felt so connected with Hannah during the ceremony and able to be really present with the entire experience. Since we had to scale back, we invited all our guests virtually and Hannah was so careful about including them and making it feel completely cohesive despite unusual circumstances. We loved, loved, loved our ceremony and there isn’t anyone else we could have imagined to marry us. We highly recommend Hannah and know you’ll be so thrilled with your experience!
Lauren Brackett: We are so very fortunate to have found Hannah! She was the PERFECT fit for officiating a non-denominational blessing ceremony for our two kids. From start to finish, she guided the way and helped us put together a wonderful service -- better than we could have imagined! We got so many compliments from our family afterwards; some even said they felt as though they've met Hannah before - she was so familial and welcoming. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Hannah!
Jose Quinones: Having Rev. Hannah Grace of Grace Ceremonies officiate our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made. From our first meeting, Hannah was kind, open, and genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple. My wife and I really enjoyed the personalized experience she provided by carefully gathering the details of our journey and finding unique ways to make our ceremony special to us. Hannah curated a ceremony that was genuine, intimate and one of a kind. On the day of our wedding, Hannah provided a calm and soothing presence that helped to ease our nerves and allowed us to focus on the beauty of the day. Many of our guests remarked that our wedding was the most beautiful they had ever witnessed and praised Hannah’s heartfelt and personal touch. After the wedding Hannah checked in with us to wish us well and even sent a custom “keepsake.” We are extremely happy we chose to work with Hannah and highly recommend her to anyone looking to have someone who will not only demonstrate superb professionalism; but also show that she really cares about her role in our union.
Matt jolie: Hanna worked with my wife and I to officiate our small vow renewal ceremony. She took the time to really listen to us and to understand not only what we both wanted but also what we both needed. She is a gifted orator who was able to express the significance and importance that this event meant to us. I highly recommend Grace Ceremonies for any size event.
