Ellen Farley: This is part of Forest Park in Springfield, MA. The view of the river valley from up here is really great. Unfortunately, the overlook area near the mausoleum is cordoned off for some reason. Hopefully, that’s temporary. The area up here at the mausoleum has a real 19th century vibe with the sculptures and landscaping. The two sphinxes guarding the tomb and the column topped by the 3 Graces are absolutely lovely and feature a nice “ Beaux Arts” style of art popular in the 19th century. It’s a peaceful lovely spot!
Amir Frayman: Great place for sledding. In the spring it must be an amazing park.

Christina Mercier: Today is Christmas Eve and I was at the cemetery looking for my Mom and Dad's plot. For 18 years I've been visiting, but with the snow this year I was having a hard time finding them. A voice came out of no where and a gentleman that worked there said " no worries help is here". He was so kind, called the office, got the plot number and found their graves and proceeded to shovel them out for me. He took the time to even ask me a favorite memory of my parents. This was by far the most random act of kindness, the most beautiful gift I could have received today. Sincerely, Christina Mercier.

Todd Mellett: My Dad had always requested that he be buried next to his mother who is buried here. I didn't have any paperwork proving ownership of burial plots, but the staff was understanding and worked with me to file the necessary paperwork and claim a plot for my father next to his mother.I had to fly-in for the ceremony, and it couldn't have gone smoother. They provided a deacon who gave the most touching service. Furthermore, they setup a tent and made the whole process painless. I had such a moving experience here. The grounds are well-maintained and the entire staff/maintenance crews were very friendly.

Steve Powell: Very Impressive historical cemetery dating back to 1871. Good place for a bike-about.
Peter Reale: A really lovely historic cemetery, lots of beautiful gravestones. Well maintained and we were left alone to bury the deceased in peace.
